Great experience with August Castle Bookkeeping. I had my taxes done with another tax professional and Jackson was able to help me find tax savings that were overlooked by my other tax professional. His rates were also better and very fair. Jackson places a big emphasis on ethical and legal bookkeeping and accounting. He also is an excellent teacher, breaking down the concepts and reasoning/rationale for why he is recommending what he recommends. Jackson's communication is very quick, and if he tells you he is going to do something, he does it. Highly recommend. read more

August Castle Bookkeeping went over the last few years of my personal tax returns, and they were able to find significant tax credits which my previous CPA had missed. This resulted in a very large tax return in addition to what I had originally received. In my case, my taxes were a tangled mess of salary positions, independent contractor work, and graduate school tuition payments; but despite the complexity of my tax picture, August Castle did a great job and were a pleasure to work with. The customer service is great. They kept tabs on my return without my badgering them until the funds were received.
