The restaurant was clean and service staff was very helpful. They answered all our questions and went above and beyond to make our celebration special. The A5 Wagyu Deviled Eggs were amazing - and your server prepares the Wagyu in front of you. It was a fun touch! Our steaks and sides were cooked to perfection. We even had some to take home to relive the dinner. Dessert was prepared fresh and did not miss a beat. The molten cake was rich and creamy. The brûlée was smooth and beautifully presented. Cocktails did not miss. The bar is full service and stocked with whatever your heart desires. We stuck to the menu with our dinner cocktails and loved them! Our dessert cocktails were balanced and just what we needed to end the night. Overall - lovely place. Great experience here with the meal and staff. I would recommend going if you're looking for an intimate steakhouse experience.

I feel like there are pros and cons with going earlier in the day. Everyone normally puts on their best face first thing in the morning, so usually the service and food have no reason to be terrible. The downside is the possibility of getting yesterday's dinner for today's breakfast/lunch, but luckily not every restaurant is like that. Upon entry, it could use a little update, but the interior is clean and spacious. COVID protocols are still in place, so dining in isn't really encouraged. It was a bit of a mixed message, as the sign by the door said no but the signs on the tables said yes. We went to order, and we asked the cashier. She was very nice about it, and said that it was fine that we dined in. There were only 2 to go orders and then there was us. We all decided on sandwiches, both pork and beef brisket with sides of baked beans and coleslaw. The brisket was really good. It was tender, and the pork was also tender. The baked beans were also good, and I liked that they weren't super sweet. The coleslaw was...odd. There wasn't much slaw on the sandwich, but as a stand alone side it was...really soggy. I know coleslaw isn't supposed to be dry. I don't know if it was frozen then thawed, but it was unusually wet to be coleslaw. There is a lot to choose from ranging from traditional BBQ, small or large sandwiches, or even loaded potatoes. I feel like pricing is reasonable, but it mainly depends on how MUCH you want. I'm going to peg it between $7-20 individually, with a full dinner being towards the $20 end of the scale. Memphis has a lot of BBQ places to choose from, and it's always good to try others and support local.

Moody lighting, low rumble of noise and music you enjoy but don't notice. My kinda place. Rye was our server and she was excellent. Not only top-notch recommendations but also let us know about the tasting menu- I can't wait to come back to try the off-menu one they do the last Wednesday of every month. We got raw oysters to start and chose the seasonal preparation. It was almost like frozen lemonade crème fresh, but with the brine of the oysters it just worked. Would def order again! We started with a whiskey sour and AM old fashioned. Both great but mine was so good my husband ordered another round of them for us before we got a bottle of red. I don't recall what bottle it was but it worked perfectly as it wasn't too heavy and swung easily from apps/pasta/entrees. Then we opted into the blind tasting menu. 5 courses, chosen from the menu that you don't know what you're getting until it touches the table. My husband and I are pretty adventurous as far as food goes so it was perfect for us. No shit- Everything was amazing. I loved the tasting menu as it was not any dishes we were considering and I am so glad we got to try things we wouldn't have otherwise. For example, the little asparagus appetizer was the best thing we ate, on God. Like, what in the actual F ! The kind of magic they created with those little green veggies was out of this world --I didn't even want to swallow it was that delicious. There was some kind of fish crudo with beet and kumquat relish. Weird and so good! We also had some pasta with a lemon-y butter sauce and spinach and then a chicken entree. I was getting so full by the time entrees came I ate less than half of it but the skin was crispy, chicken was cooked to perfection and husband finished them both. Now yall, the dessert was a heavenly little pot of rich chocolate with a caramel base and crunchy honeycomb crisp on top. I was so full I couldn't finish it but my husband finished his and then mine. We also ordered a little affogato and it was perfect to finish the meal. I will absolutely be back and look forward to trying their other restaurants in the near future!!!

The spinach was extremely salty and unfortunately every time i or my group took a bite of spinach it was off putting. I was able to eat the portions not touch by the spinach but it was so salty spinach was inedible. The best thing of the night was this spinach pasta dish with pumpkin. I would just go back for that. Again, overall it was a fun experience but unfortunately would not do it again. I would probably go back just for their pasta.
