I'm a pregnant momma with a history of breech babies and preeclampsia. I had heard of other moms doing acupuncture to flip a breech baby or lower blood pressure so I figured I would give it a try this pregnancy! It has worked for me! This is my first head-down baby! Not only that but whenever my blood pressure numbers start to climb, acupuncture brings them down within a day! I've also noticed my liver (which suffered with preeclampsia last pregnancy) is doing just fine according to the lab work! I had a total left knee replacement in January of 2019. With medication and physical therapy, it took me three months to get back to being functional. It was painful and the healing took a while. I have recently sought acupuncture treatment with Dr. Sherrell for residual pain as a result of a T-11 compression fracture that I sustained over a year ago. After working with an orthopedic practice, many months of chiropractic care, and numerous sessions of physical therapy, plus a back brace, I was still left with daily pain and restriction of routine activities. To be honest, I was a little worried that it wouldn't work for my migraines. I used to get them all the time without any warning. I could be at work, BAM headache. A great experience. Dr. Sherrell is very knowledgeable and friendly. I originally went for lower back pain and it helped a lot with inflammation. One day my upper and middle back flared up and I've never had pain there before. Dr. Sherrell explained that it was probably a kidney issue and treated it with the acupuncture and I got some herbs from him. In less than 2 days that pain was gone. Also, his assistant Emily is great. She has a great personality and is very kind. She helped me numerous times when I had to reschedule and helped me navigate the VA. While I was under his care I got a sinus infection that I could not get rid of. He prescribed an herbal remedy for me to take. By the 2nd day of taking the herbs my symptoms started to go away.
