You'd have thought I told her I was gonna stick needles in my eyes the way she reacted. She told me that "everyone" got their eyes dilated to which I repeated that I wasn't doing that today. She continued to push, saying it was "protocol". I reiterated that I wasn't doing that today and when she continued trying to get me to acquiesce, I told her that she was probably used to old people giving in after that much pressure, but that wasn't gonna happen with me, and I asked her nicely to just drop it. She said she, "Wasn't gonna get talked to like that" and stormed out. When Dr. Daniel came in he seemed a bit uptight... and began to explain why I should get dilated. I told him why I wasn't and that I was supposed to be just getting a new prescription. He seemed a bit chapped and then he walked out. I got the impression that they don't like being told "no". I know the reasons for the need to get dilated, but I just wasn't able to do that TODAY. They did send in a nice lady, Hailey, to examine my eyes and she was friendly and professional.. but I won't be going back there.

I have been going to Tippett for a few years now, and they treated me so disrespectfully today that…read moreI never want to go back again. They were several days overdue with my glasses order, which is annoying but I can deal with that. However, they tell me that they sent it to the Augusta location instead of the Grovetown location and that I have to pick it up over there. That's annoying enough because it's an hour out of my way and I needed them to see. I drive all the way down there, and they tell me it is not there very there and it is at the Grovetown location so I have no idea where they are and Tippett clearly has no clue. I had to take off of work for this crap, and I will now not be able to get them until 4 days later due to my job. They could get their crap together and communicate and confirm where they are. I'm never going back to Tippett because I wasted gas and money due to lost wages because they royally messed up. And after all that, their staff didn't even apologize for the inconvenience or for my lost wages and refused to take any responsibility. They are unprofessional and unorganized. Plus, they make their incompetence other people's problem instead of taking any accountability.

Great customer service by far from any other optical location I've been to (since this actual…read morelocation was a previous brand). I took a chance on going here as I seem to change companies almost every year due to inadequate service. As soon as I arrived I was greeted and asked what I needed! Rare these days. I was asked this by the other 2 people working there while I was there (I was there for over an hour because it takes me a long time to decide on frames). After picking out my frames I did get my lenses and price for them, a bit expensive due to them not accepting my EyeMed insurance, which was an error on my part reading the wrong location online. That is the only negative aspect of this was them not accepting my eye insurance. They seem to work with everyone, insurance or not, to get a better price than the base price. I was there long enough to see and hear interactions with other customers and I wasn't the only one who was waited on quickly and helped throughout their process. I picked up my glasses a few day's earlier than anticipated, Sally who assisted me did say it would be less than two weeks. She was great by the way! I was assisted immediately walking in even though he was already helping other people and another person walked in also behind me and was greeted just as nicely. This employee seemed to be the only one there at the time but still was helpful and very nice. My glasses fit great which is such a relief after a couple of years of glasses being such a mess.
