Rating not great on this place but we purchased a 2018 Ford Ecosport from here last Saturday 13th April. Our salesman was Austin. The car was in tip top condition ready for us to test drive after 30 minutes of us inquiring on the telephone about it. They were kind of non negotiable about the price with the general manager telling us they only had $89 dollars in it !! But in the end we were able to negotiate $340 off the out the door price. Overall I would say it was a fairly good experience and the car is still running. Austin was really the one that made it for us. Would I go back - yes I would say "likely" if they had a car I was interested in. read more

My father along with a relative to look at trucks. My father has not been able to drive since an accident last year. I am also a POA for my father. In previous attempts to obtain a car, I have connected with the Sales Manager to discuss a plan to withdraw any offers. I was told after talking with me, the Sales Manager deemed my father to be competent to secure the car and make negotiations of payment. I visited the car dealership and spoke with the Finance Manager in which he informed me that there was nothing he could do legally after my father denied any further assistance and was going to purchase the car. I bought a vehicle in Novemeber 2024 from this dealer. "Will", the apparent Finance Manager refuses to give us status of the title til this day, 2/4/25.. He told us it would arrive to my HOME ADDRESS on 1/29. Called the NEXT DAY to follow up when it didn't arrive and each time he says he will check and call me back but never does. Last call, yesterday, 2/3/25 he now says it was mailed to DMV but will not give tracking of mail, info of which DMV it was sent to address or any other proof - I have called and physically went down to DMV, they have no record of it. Will refuses to help with getting me my title and says its "not his problem". I will be seeking legal advice. They have 1.5 stars on Yelp, 2.5 stars on Car.com, 1.8 stars on FB you see the pattern here. But most importantly, an F rating from the BBB and not accredited as per the official site- Also spoke to a BBB rep that said they refuse to rectify complaints, you can also see this on the site. They use high pressure sales and tack on hidden fees so they don't have to advertise the vehicle at above fail market value. The car I bought was missing the owner's manual and I had to invest $2000 on a bad bearing, brakes and leaky shocks. Then a couple of weeks later they call me up and ask what insurance company I have so they can submit the paperwork for registration, information I gave them when I bought the vehicle. As a 100% Permanent & Total Disabled Veteran, I cannot in good faith recommend Augusta Mitsubishi. I purchased a truck from this dealership a few months ago, and as a disabled veteran, the Columbia County Tag Office issued a refund for my ad valorem taxes, which was sent directly to the dealership for disbursement to me. Despite multiple follow-ups, months have passed and I have still not received my check. The process has been frustrating, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. I truly wish I could have posted this without giving them a one-star rating, but my experience leaves me no choice. With Veterans Day approaching, I strongly urge my fellow service members and their families to think carefully before doing business here. Veterans deserve honesty, transparency, and respect -- values that were not reflected in my experience with this dealership. They sent out monopoly game pull tabs. According to the game I won a $2,000.00 gift card from Walmart. Only 1 in 100,000 win. So I go to pick up the prize only for a high pressure salesman and find out that it was a bait and switch scheme. Every one there had the same card piece. Then there was a sign showing the winning number. All other numbers received a dinning gift card valued up to $100.00. With a choice of 6 places to eat. Augusta Mitsubishi is currently advertising $0 down payment, all credits accepted especially bad credit, no credit checks, everyone is approved via the advertising on radio, social media and television. I got there. They are RUDE, they checked all my credit reports, asked for money down, then proceeded to deny me based on past repo/ which the advertising says approval with past repossession. They are false advertising, scamming, lying individuals. The manger WILLIAM JOHNSON smokes cigarettes like trains and does nothing to help nor talk to customers. All the sale representatives are RUDE, NASTY TALKING , and they pick and choose by the car you drive up in to help. I saw a girl crying to get a car she begged them. They denied her and told her to leave. As soon as she started her old car it cut off in the parking lot and two of the representatives had to push her car back into a parking spot. Be warned if you get a flyer from this business that claims you have won something like a $2K Wal-Mart gift card or $1K Amazon gift card. THIS IS A SCAM. Even if it clearly seems to indicate one of these prizes, and there is no fine print to indicate otherwise, AND you call and confirm that you have indeed won this prize, you will not get this. You will instead get a "$100 Restaurant Gift Card", which is not actually a gift card, but a redeemable certificate for Restaraunts.com, a well known (currently 1 star rated) scam app that almost no restaurants accept. This is an intentionally misleading scheme to collect your information and try to sell you a car. Do not bother. Do not fall for it. Do not give these people your time. I am so angry and disappointed with the Service and Management here that I am willing to write this review - if only to warn others from experiencing the similar. 5 months ago, I was preparing to move to a new job up in Boston and wanted to get my Mitsubishi Outlander serviced properly, so that my wife and daughter could drive the car safely, in my absence. The steering was getting a bit sloppy and so I took it to the 'new' Augusta Mitsubishi on Peach Orchard Rd. I should have known better when I drove into their so-called 'service bay', which looks like a converted barn - like something you would see on a livestock farm (yes; go see it for yourself!). However, they were the only Mitsubishi dealership in town, and so I trusted that they were most appropriate to service my Mitsubishi. They 'checked' the car thoroughly and implored me to overhaul my front suspension, and replace all 4 shock absorbers (a few thousand dollars of 'needed' work). They instructed me to bring my car in the next morning and left the car with them. I returned in the afternoon, to discover that they had not done any work on the car! The person at the counter in the 'barn' told me sheepishly that they didn't realize that the mechanic assigned to my car had called in sick that day. wtf... Thinking that this was the only authorized Mitsubishi Dealer in town, I (stupidly) went back and had the prescribed work done. When I picked up the car, I discovered on my way home that my steering was still out of whack, and that my ride was worse than before. By now, I was annoyed. After paying thousands of dollars to get some straightforward work done at the authorized dealership, and being dissatisfied, I went in to speak with the general manager. Be forewarned, just drive into the parking lot of this dealership, and you'll have a number of sales people running out to open your door (before coercing you into buying a new car). I felt good that the manager seemed to listen to the issues I presented, and apologized - saying that they were having problems as a new dealership, getting and keeping quality mechanics and personnel in their Service department. He determined that not only did they not finish my suspension and steering job with a proper wheel alignment... they didn't inform me that one was needed! He asked me what they could do to make this right; I said: "I would appreciate it if the service department could perform a proper wheel alignment, and send me on my way. In other words: just finish the job properly! I also should mention that I bought a set of 4 tires from them (which they said they would charge 'at cost') but in the end, they would bill me twice the cost of the tires than if I had ordered them on-line. The car still didn't feel right but it wasn't pulling to the side of the road, as it had been doing before, so I left the car to my wife and I moved to Boston thinking everything was fine. This past weekend, my wife phoned me to tell me that one of the (new) front tires were flat. I asked her to call AAA to help her switch it out for the spare. The AAA mechanic called me and said that the car needed to go directly to a tire shop, to have both front tires replaced asap; the steel belts had already worn through on both tires because the previous alignment was done improperly. In other words, these cockroaches had not done their jobs properly and thought nothing about over-charging/ripping me off. Augusta Mitsubishi is such an unprofessional lot. The way they treated me should be a lesson on how not to cheat and abuse your customers. The service department is in complete disarray. Inside that 'barn', you'll find guys sitting behind a greasy counter with one hand on a vape, and the other on a computer mouse as they price out the parts they need to order in for your car's service. The mechanics are disheveled, wearing metallica t-shirts and worn jeans. The right hand doesn't know what the left is doing. While you complain about service that they forgot to perform, the person you are complaining to will try to sell you a new Mitsubishi. Un-professional, un-trustworthy, and un-ethical. Take your business elsewhere; these amateurs don't deserve your hard-earned dollars. read more

Although many of the sales staff/personnel are no longer working there, I am still struggling to resolve a contractual issue (purchased service plan) associated with the initial sale. Unprofessional and uncaring I scheduled an appointment for an oil change and a tire rotation. Upon receiving my receipt I noticed the tire rotation was not listed. When I asked the attendant about it he responded with, "oh we forgot." They must forget to do all tire rotations because this is the third time this has happened at this Mitsubishi. They told me that i was signing a borrow agreement and didnt inform me that it was the binding contract until the next day i went up there to return the car. Then i was leaving the man named Joe Brown. Yes. I will say names, was screaming from across the parking lot and was not willing to work it out at all. He was very rude and unprofessional. THIS IS A JANKY DEARLERSHIP. I DID A BORROW AGREEMENT ON LAST FRIDAY, RETURNED THE CAR ON SATURDAY.. HE WANTED ME TO PAY FOR THE CAR UP FRONT. He said as soon as I walked into his office we Need to get that check to verify  that the money is there. I've NEVER WAS ASKED FOR MONEY UPFRONT AS SOON AS I CAME through  THE DOOR,  DIDNT TELL ME WHO WAS FINANCING, ME OR HOW MUCH THE PAYMENTS WERE, DIDNT SHOW ME ANY PAPERWORK BUT  showed a piece of paper with 3 amounts with no title on it that said you can put down, six  thousand, seven thousand, or eight  thousand. I told that's way to much to be putting on a car.  He USED THE FACT that my two small children were acting like kids tand distract me so I could  run my credit card. I brought the vehicle back after thinking about everything  that went on, and how this wouldn't  be the perfect car for us.  I returned the car just like I got it,  After speaking with the sales Rep about why i was returning it, the manager came up and asked for the keys so he can do an inspection of  the truck and then he came back with a piece of paper for mileage, and per day fee, and stated I put a hole in the tire.  I stated how could I have gotten here I said you are a lair  and i want my money back. He stated that" the accounted , doesnt work on weekends so i can pick my check up on Monday, or i can settle this now by wrapping up the deal". I said no, I'm not doing any type of business with this dealership ever. Then he said well then I'm going to have to call the police. I said call them I need a witness to this mess. I grabbed my two child and walked outside til the cops came. After the cops came the officer informed me the the manager said I threaten  him by saying I was going to kick his butt. I explained  to the cop of what happen, and I have two girls that are watching me, and don't talk like that in front of them, then I said look at the car, do you see any holes in the tire.. He said no, which is in the police report. Wife and I purchased car February 23rd 2022. On March 25th they said we had to return the car because the financing agreement of a spot loan was not met. We knew nothing of a spot loan but we did have to come down to the dealership a week prior to returning the car and re-sign another contract that again has Global as the financier on the vehicle. It was all a scam they have turned around and made it as if it was a car rental after having us believe that we were financed through global financing when all along we never were which goes against state of Georgia law. Which states that basically if they had you believing that the car had a financier already attached to it it obviously was not a spot loan because they used Global Lending name in every location when application had lienholder information. Return the car and retained an attorney and the attorney has guaranteed we will get our money back. $5,000 was put down approximately 2300 was returned. Earlier today we filed a complaint and grievance with Augusta Mitsubishi to the consumers Authority with the state of Georgia. If we we're aware of their business practices we would have never purchased vehicle or set foot on the property after filing with the state I found out from global financing in Atlanta Georgia that this has happened several times at the same dealership Augusta Mitsubishi. We plan to seek compensation to the fullest and maybe that's what it's going to take to get them to stop doing this to customers who are on knowing of all of the scams that you can go through at a dealership. While looking through the contract with a fine-tooth comb my father found where they charged several thousand dollars in third party aftermarket warranty companies. I am so disappointed with the service I received from them. They broke the driver side door handle on my car and wasn't going to mention it until I showed it to them. When I brought my car to them, I said per the diagnostic test it seems my catalytic converter was bad and possibly the transmission as well, they told me they would hook it up to the machine and let me know if what I thought was right, they told me it was the valve cover gaskets leaking oil onto the spark plugs (which I supplied). They claimed they changed the filter in transmission and put fluids in as well as put a new air filter in car. So why is it one week later, my car started doing the same thing it was doing before I brought it to them. When I took the car back, they tried to charge me over $1,000.00 for a catalytic converter and the labor would be $300.00, but they would give me a break and only charge $1,000.00 for converter and labor. They bought a new door handle, but painted it white, even though they should have left it black. So hurt by this dealership and now I must go legal to get money back. read more
