They did replace this. It has an exhaust leak that I keep getting the run-around about. Week later I had to replace the brakes and rotors. Two weeks ago I got pulled over for having ( unaware) blue fog lights!!! 220 dollars ticket! They sold me this !!!! Guess what I'm doing on this Sunday morning? Replacing a ducking cracked radiator!!!! You cannot make this shit up! Don't go to Omar's!!!! If you're foolish enough to be brave, bring an excellent mechanic with you!!! They also offered discounts and a complimentary ride to my other car. The oil change only took about 3 hrs including the wait time since I was a walk on. There is a nice, spacious waiting area with snacks and refreshments. Overall a great, seamless experience compared to other BMWs I've worked with for my car. Last time before last they told me that I had a bulb out (no bulb out) and this time they told me I needed 2 tires on the rear upon inspecting them they were fine. They also asked me if I wanted the engine tune up package. They seemed more involved in telling me about this that they neglected to tell me that it should have a new engine air filter which I would have had done. The air filter was on the final paper work but by that point I was ready to get out of there. Please don't change for the worse by trying to get me to pay for things that are not needed. We just got the vehicle back today on December 1 2025. When we originally went to pick the vehicle in October the rear driver side door had been damaged and the gear shifter lights no longer worked and the car was not accelerating . We informed them. At which point they said they would take a look at it. They contacted me back and said I would need a second diagnostics when they did a full diagnostic when we took it in and no other issues were found. After doing a second diagnostics they then said the cam magnet was the cause of the vehicles loss of acceleration. We just picked the vehicle up today and now the backup camera is not working. They told us they can do another diagnostics which we would have to pay for it. What's even worse is the General Manager and the Service Manager both stated there's not much they could do. Eventually, we were offered $250 off of the cam magnet repair. But unfortunately we left with our vehicle worse off than when we took in for a simple service. I would not recommend taking your vehicle to Gerald Jones Volkswagen for repair. If you can find another foreign automotive repair shop that has great work/mechanics. I'd highly recommend doing so.
