For a "luxury" car dealer their behavior is more akin to what you might think of with stereotypical sleazy used car dealer tactics. From what I experienced they only care about getting their sales numbers at any cost to the customer. They promise things on due out and then try to charge extra, they assure you that they will do something and then get another person to tell you differently, I could go on and on but they are just a terrible place of business and wouldn't recommend anyone purchasing from them, as I now regret doing. These guys do all they can to avoid covered repairs. Horrible service all around and highly disappointed. Appointment times are worthless and my cars were gotten back several times with nicks and scratches so many times I told them to not wash it. Even routine maintenance was a struggle for them as I had to take my car back several times. After an oil change they failed to properly tighten the bolt leading to oil leaked all over my garage. A second time they left my engine cover floating around unsecured in my engine bay. A third time they left my seat panel loosely hanging with internal parts showing. This review is a bit overdue. My wife and I visited Taylor BMW in September of 2017 to upgrade her 2008 BMW 3-Series. She was considering either a new 3-Series or the X1. At the time Taylor BMW was in the process of moving into a brand new facility that will be great for sales and service. We worked with Jin and he was very helpful. He is a true enthusiast of the brand and it shows. We test drove both vehicles and determined the X1 worked best with our current lifestyle. We had never leased a vehicle before, but Jin helped find an X1 with all the options we wanted and made the process very straightforward. The car has been great and my wife loves it. as soon as you drive in a car lot your expected to be swarmed by car sellsman ready to fill your ears with all the deals and ways they can get you in a car without even listening to what you're actually looking for.This was not my experience. Kay approached me with grace and patience. After she introduced herself she asked what we were looking for exactly. She then proceeded to point out the options available to view and allowed us to pick the vehicle we wanted to start with.. The original vehicle I wanted to purchase was sold shortly after I left to think on things, this didn't end the process. Kay contacted me with another opportunity which turned out to be the better car honestly. She came into the office on her day off and made sure we went through the buying process seamlessly. This alone gave me the confidence to push forward. Instead of this feeling like a normal textbook car purchase she made it feel super personal. I was simply inquiring about a trade-in quote on my current vehicle and the possibility of getting one from this dealership. Nowhere on their website does it state by doing so, your credit will automatically be run through a lender and therefore, affecting your credit score. Now I have a hard inquiry on my credit report for the next two years because they choose not to remove it; even though I specifically requested they not run my credit for any reason. I do NOT recommend using this dealership for anything you need in regard to a new and/or used vehicle. Even the general manager told me that it would not affect my credit score, but yet I have a letter from Wells Fargo saying different. Lesson learned!! Then had to ask for screws because it didn't come with them. I had to call service to install because the parts guy didn't know how. Without a doubt. The WORST customer service ever. I rarely post complaints, especially one star (only because they have a nice waiting area and food). I leased the vehicle in December 2018 so I have just had it a year now. When I got my vehicle the 'trainer' or whatever he is called rushed through everything on the car and handed me the info book and said it was all in here. I was having a ton of problems with my phone service and a ton of other issues. I called. I left messages. I sent emails. Countless attempts to get help. They couldn't have cared less. They had "no idea" why the WiFi in the car was not working (I ended up spending a week talking to At&T to get it fixed) Taylor did nothing. When I kept calling about another issue. They told me to bring the car in- when I leased the car I was very, VERY clear that I could not bring the car to Evans for repairs etc... they responded with "we have hundreds of customers in Aiken, they are our biggest customers and we are HAPPY to come out and get your vehicle and bring a replacement if needed. No problem! Of coarse when I asked for someone to come out they said they were way too busy to do that. I kept calling. They finally sent someone out to take care of it (I was at work in Aiken and could not take a day off to go back to Evans). After a couple of hours the man said "I have no idea how to fix it". He called work and I guess they said to keep trying. He spent another hour at it then "I don't know what I did but it is working now". Ok. Since everything was working well since I hadn't had to contact them for the last year. Until now. I got a recall notice so I dutifully call Taylor. The phone rings awhile then goes to a nice recording of a British lady telling me to leave a message and someone will quickly get back to me. Her and I are becoming good friends because she is the only one that talks to me at Taylor BMW. Unless someone else buys this dealership or they realize they stink at customer service and clean up their customer relationships I will never do business with them again. My experience with the service department has also been excellent, although with the BMW I don't find myself in service very often! The automobile had been sold. I was told that it was sold to another dealer. Then I was told it was sold to a friend of one of the salespersons. Great customer service! Due to not being able to find the vehicle I wanted in my area, I drove from TN to GA to look at five vehicles I had located online. Taylor BMW in Augusta was a little further drive than I wanted but the vehicle online appeared to be very clean, well maintained and priced alot lower than other vehicles I had viewed; therefore I wanted to see in person. I bought my 2006 BMW X3 used locally back in March 2018. I had a problem with my head lights. The beam of light was not level with the road. One light was pointing up and the other to the side. I took it to the BMW service dept and meet a Service Advisor named Wendy. I felt that maybe the light bulbs were installed incorrectly. Wendy from the very beginning of meeting her was rude. She looked my vehicle up in the computer and then came outside to see what I was talking about. She never once seemed interested in my problem. She started telling me about how this model had some wiring problem that may have cause my lights not to work correct. She started saying it could be this or that and gave me these high price amounts to fix. I was so dissatisfied and disgusted with her. I did some Google research and You Tube videos. Turns out that I was right. The bulbs were in there incorrectly. I straighten them out and my lights work great. I will never go there again. If Wendy was on fire and needed help. I wouldn't even waste my pee on her to help put out the flames. This is my 1st ever BMW and if I have to put up with people like her. It will be my very last. read more

Let me start by saying, I bought my car at Taylor and have had all the service done at Taylor. I received a notice of a recall on my car. Problem with the fan wiring. I called for an appointment. An appointment was made. I was told they would need my car most of the day. I told them I could not be without my car for the day. I asked for a loaner. She told me they do not give loaners on recall work. I reminded her I bought my car from them and have had all service done there at Taylor. She said " sorry". I told her the General manage accepted my check for the car with a big smile on his face. He also told me if there was anything he could do for me, let him know. I told the service ( Maria) person this and told her to tell the manager how disappointed I am. That was two days ago. I have not received any follow up phone call from anyone at Taylor BMW. I purchased a used Infiniti from Taylor BMW, which came with only one electronic key. Later, I called Taylor BMW to see if they would mind using "professional courtesy" with Infiniti to get me a dealer price on a key. The sales manager was adamant that this could be done ("we do this for other dealers"). It was all BS. When I brought my car in for service, dealer said "you're also here for a key, right?" I said "yes, I see my dealer called you". He said they called and spoke to the service dept. Bottom line, No discount; key was already programmed and car would not be released without payment. Wait, what?? After I expressed irritation, dealer said I could have his price for key but full price for labor. I could have had better results with no "professional courtesy" and avoided an unpleasant afternoon. Asking Taylor BMW for help was a mistake. Taylor BMW treated my request with snide indifference. Too bad, because I work among professionals in BMW's target demographic and will surely share my experience. read more

I have only had experience with their Parts & Service department, but it is the best experience I have ever had with a repair shop. They are outstanding. They work with you to find the best deal, they honor CCA discounts, and always help you any way they can. I have been able to speak with the mechanics multiple times and they are very skilled with these cars, they know every in and outs of the vehicles and give great advice on maintaining the cars. She explained what service would be done, how long it would take, and even offered use of the Shuttle for me. She showed me to the lobby area and helped me get on WiFi so I could work while my car was being serviced. She answered all of my questions completely, especially the ones I raised about their car wash. In October 2018, I bought a 535i BMW from Taylor BMW as a 2nd car for work which is 30 miles from home. The car only had 82,000. The salesman advised me that the car was locally driven and was in excellent condition. They were selling the car for over 3,000 the car value. The bank wouldn't approved the loan for this much over the value. So they lowered the price and I bought the car. From the beginning, the battery was having issues. The car wouldn't hold a charge. I contacted Taylor BMW and was told I had to drive the car. I started driving the car 3-4 times a week but it continued to stall. I took the car for a diagnoses and was told I needed a new battery which would cost $400. They replaced the battery. At this time, they also explained to me that the car had an oil leak but they will check the leak again in 2000 miles to see how bad the leak is. A month later the engine light came on. The service department stated that there was an issue with the cylinder and the car indeed had an oil leak. I spoke with the service manager Sam Jones to see if he would be willing to fix the oil leak since it is obviously a preexisting issue. He just tapped his fingers as my husband and I explained our disappointment in the car. After I finished talking, it was complete silence for about a minute before my husband asked if he would be willing to take care of the repair. He flat out said "NO". He was very arrogant and rude about it when he said it. We left the store feeling very betrayed and frustrated. I already have several cars that I've paid off that need repair work. I didn't buy this car to add to that collection. I need a reliable and affordable car to drive back and forth to work. I've always wanted a BMW so I felt that this was the perfect car. A few weeks later, the transmission light came on, so the car went back to the service department. This time they said maybe it needs a transmission flush but still they were not willing to fix the oil leak. They said that this is a common problem with BMWs and unfortunately most BMWs will have oil leak in their lifetime. The manager stated that if they fixed my oil leak, they would be fixing most of their cars oil leaks. I wish someone would have told me that prior to me buying this lemon. I got the car back and 4 days later the engine light is back on. Taylor BMW has had my car for 2 weeks now. I've been calling to get an update but each time I am told that someone would call me back. Finally, today I receive a call back from Brian Moon. He stated that the cylinder needs work that will cost over $3000 and that they are not going to cover the cost. They said that a warranty would not have covered none of these repairs. Several people who own or have owned a BMW told me not to buy one because they have a lot of problems with them and the repairs are very expensive. I should have listened. My husband has a 2000 Lexus GS300 which he still drives everyday. The car hasn't had any major repair work. I don't expect Taylor BMW to cover every issue I have with this car but They can't expect me to pay this kind of money in repairs when I'm only 2000 miles in. I am very disappointed in Taylor BMW and the beautiful lemon that I am now stuck with. My 2017 BMW i3 REX My dealership is Taylor BMW in Evans, GA. Overall, Taylor has consistently treated my wife and I with kindness and respect. In complete honesty, they're the best overall dealership we have had a relationship with. Please know I am NOT/NOT a fan of working with car sales professionals but Taylor BMW is different. For us, there are two primary reasons Taylor BMW is above average as a dealership. The first is their service department because they're truly OUTSTANDING (best overall service department we have worked with). I realize you can buy a BMW at any dealership and have it serviced at any dealership but buying at Taylor and having it cared for by Taylor is worth the investment. Secondly, there is a retired Army BMW Salesman named; "Luis Olmo". Luis is more than a sales professional, he has become a friend to me and my family. Luis is honest and is uniquely gifted for the car sales environment, I believe it's because of his integrity and approach to really trying to help the buyer have the best overall experience. I have lived a long time (not a young man) and bought MANY automobiles. Never has any salesman come close to Luis (never). He made buying our 2016 X5 and now our first EV the 2017 i3 a journey in knowledge and took his time to wade through the MANY questions and concerns I had (especially with the i3). This is the second car purchase I have made at Taylor in the last 3 years. This time Dean beat the price I had found in Atlanta even though I didn't tell him what that price was. He then got one of the only two diesel 3 series that were available for order in the Southeast. And did it that night. I like that the salesmen are not trying to push you into a car but will make sure you get the best price that is available (even asking if you are a member of various organizations to ensure you get the discounts). The service department is also very helpful and will ensure you are taken care of promptly and I enjoy driving the loaners to see what the newer models are like. With a 100 mile round-trip to work, I am really enjoying the 50mpg that my new 328d gets in ECO PRO mode and the acceleration and handling in SPORT mode. read more
