We got there shortly after noon, and the place was packed! Still, we were able to be seated right away in a nice comfy booth. The service was lightening fast, and the food was delivered quickly. Speaking of food, can we talk about that menu? If you can't find SOMETHING on this multi-page menu that you like, then you must not like Mexican food! We ended up ordering the #8 Lunch Special - Chicken Quesadilla with refried beans and rice. My goodness, it was amazing! The chicken was moist and tender- not dry, over-cooked, and disguised with cheese. This was perfectly cooked, with plenty of meat, and what seemed like a homemade tortilla. We also were provided with chips and salsa. The chips were pretty ordinary - crunchy and fresh. The salsa had an interesting taste to it - definitely OREGANO. It was good, but the first bite was a surprise that took some getting used to. For beverages, we got Coca Cola products - not Pepsi (thank goodness!) Please forgive the photo with the half eaten food! I was so excited about trying it out that I forgot to take the picture when it was first delivered! If you're in the Jonesboro area, head on down to Valley View. It's a not a bad drive, and definitely worth the trip! I can't wait to go visiting up there again so that I can try the dinner entrees! And I shared with my mother because she has a stomach condition that doesn't allow her to eat more than a few bites... Instead of being amicable, they upcharged us without telling us. (Didn't bring the full itemized check thinking I wouldn't notice). Even though they cheated us, we tipped $15 dollars. Food was good and I will likely go again; but never will I sit down because of such poor attitudes. Hopefully a lesson to be learned. "It's far easier to look rich than it is to look poor."
