Everything tasted great like always. Guy at the register was cool. Wish they had a few more items ready to grab and go.

Usually my husband gets it for us so I can't say much about the service but he said that they are pretty nice. The pretzels we have had are always hot, fresh, and tasty. The prices are about $4-5 per pretzel and its quite large. They have a variety of pretzels and dipping sauces. It's good for a snack or even a little lunch if you get the pepperoni one. Overall it's a great opportunity to get a pretzel without having to go to the mall.

I've never been to a Ben's before but it was pretty good. It's not your typical pretzel, it was softer and sweeter. There are a lot of options and dip varieties. Sweet or savory. I generally just go the classic route when there's too many choices so I went with a plain pretzel with cheese dip. I just read the about us section of their website to learn more and it's a pretty crazy winding story. But the gist is that the founders didn't know anything about pretzels when they bought the business but they figured it out and now have stores all across Indiana. The cashier was visibly annoyed but I couldn't tell if it was with me or if she was talking to someone on the phone with her earbuds in. Either way I just ordered my pretzel and got outta there.

I've driven by the Bakery, so many times and wanted to stop, but I was always in a hurry. My sister and I went in and we each got a dessert and because it was four in the afternoon, we got decaffeinated coffee. The refills were free and we sat at the little counter like we were at a diner and enjoyed everything about this iconic little bakery. The decor is a eclectic. We just took our time and looked around and laughed at so many signs and odd little things that were placed over the years. On the way to the ladies room, you will find out that the gentleman that started the restaurant fought in one of the world wars, and you will see his worn out shoes, his uniforms, his letters of accommodation and Learn his story. Now let's get to the desserts. We shared some type of a wonderful lemon pastry and a black forest cake. Best black forest cake I've ever had. Savored every bite. We were able to buy the last of the springle's that they had made from Christmas. FYI, if you don't like black licorice don't buy Springerle's but you can only get them at Christmas because it's a German tradition and they won't work in the summertime because of the humidity. Things that I learned that day. We saw that they had a dinner menu with a huge variety of different bratwurst and assorted sausages that we would like to try sometime. We ended up spending an hour and a half in a beautiful little place that we thought we were just going to stop and grab desserts to go.

That's not necessarily a bad thing unless you want to share a pizza with your spouse. Then you're back to building your own or ordering two small specialty pizzas. Now, the good part. The pizzas are delicious. I come from NY and Pizza Dive's NY style pizza is pretty darn good. Their servers are friendly college age kids. It's the new location that Pizza Dive did it right. It's open, well lit, modern, with plenty of seating. I certainly wish them and hope to visit them often. Just remember, it's NY pizza done fight. Suggestion - tech the pizza makers how to hand toss the pizzas.

When you pick up your order, they open the box so that the customer can approve that the order is what they were expecting. I am so used to pizza toppings being not only scarce, but arranged as if they were shot out of a cannon. As you can see from the picture, not only were the toppings generous, but they were arranged as if it were for a glamor shot on a cooking show. The pizza was absolutely delicious. The crust was tasty with just the right consistency. The sauce and cheese were perfectly proportioned, as were the toppings. This is a locally owned gem, and I highly recommend you give them a try.

I'm huge on seeing photos before I order (hence me being a YELPer) so I loved the photos on the website. The hostess and our server were friendly. It took a big before the server came over, but the hostess did warn us that he did just have another table seated before us. The beer drinkers in our party enjoyed their beers. We started out with two apps... cheese curds and pretzel bites. When they came to the table, neither looked like they do on the website. On the website the pretzels looked a bit better than something you'd get in a mall, and they stated they came with cheese and mustard. In real time they only had cheese. The cheese curds also looked completely different and were smaller portions than shown online. For our meals we had a burger, a chicken sandwich, and I had the southwest salad. There seemed to be a little miscommunication with our waiter about the dressing for my salad, and that resulted in my salad missing some ingredients but he resolved it. But also of note, the menu listed a "avocado lime vinagrette" and the salad came with a guac that just looked like it was maybe left in the blender a second longer than it should have been. The burger was huge. We all agreed the food was "good" but we wouldn't add it to our list of must haves next time we are in town. The disappointment more came from things that hyped us up on the menu online and in store and then weren't actually the same. :(
