And, like most stores of this nature, it's not very wide, but it is long. Upon explaining to him the type of Floorlamp that I was interested in, he showed me what he had. 8-) Sadly, the side bulbs were high mount, and not down on the side of the pole. But, he did recommend another Antique store further up on 441 by Lake Sinclair (in North Mville). So, kudos for a clean store, and for referring me to a competitor.

She commented that's not really how it works. She did call the buyer, they had what sounded like a judgmental conversation where the buyer rejected our offer and didn't offer a rebuttal. The whole thing felt icky. Not a fun flea market, could have been, but that's not what the old gals at this place want it to be. I'd spend your money elsewhere, places that don't scoff and snicker when you try to engage in the age old haggling tradition. Wouldn't recommend.

The building also doesn't have air conditioning or much of it so it definitely gets quite stuffy in the summer. The employees were very nice and talkative so definitely expect a conversation lol. Some of the stuff was a bit pricey, but it really depended on the area of the building. They have quite a mix of old and valuable furniture and smaller items. I think it's definitely worth the look for people antique shopping.

But I kept walking, and realized this place -- like other antique malls -- is only as good as what its vendors sell. And there was a lot of stuff that was nothin'-with-nothin'. Some booths were so crowded with furniture, it was difficult to check out items on the periphery without asking for help. Would I come back? Yup, if I'm in the area.
