Despite offering to pay any amount out of pocket -- because they don't accept our insurance -- the office refused to see us simply because we were "out of network." Dr. Shah does not accept cash-pay patients. As the founder of this office, he can apparently create whatever rules he wants -- including refusing to make an exception even for a desperate, suffering child. This is not just bad customer service; it is inhumane. Turning away a suffering patient who is willing to pay is unconscionable and violates the very principle of medical care: to help those in need. If you are looking for a practice that values compassion, patient well-being, and basic human decency, look elsewhere. This office has made it clear that policies come before patients.

DO NOT BOOK HERE MY FACE WAS SEVERELY BURNED BY LUNA…read more If you are considering booking here, PLEASE read this review so you know the danger you will be walking into. When I first arrived for my appt, the front desk was completely empty. I waited 15-20 mins in an unattended waiting area with zero greeting or assistance. When Luna finally came out I followed her into the room and she handed me a robe to change. There was no proper pre consultation, no anatomical mapping of my face, and zero discussion of how the procedure works or what to expect. She barely even looked at me or spoke two words. There was never a proper medical assessment or evaluation. When I finished changing she initiated with cleansing my face and spent the entire time aggressively trying to sell me on other services and products. I had to repeatedly keep telling her I wasn't interested and didn't have the budget. Later, without any warning, she abruptly started the Ultherapy treatment. To give some context: I am fairly young at 25 years old and came in for minor tightening in the lower part of my face. I do not have excessive loose skin and did not need any type of crazy dramatic change. The procedure began and Luna focused heavily on the lower part of my face and jawline area with an extreme dangerously high energy setting to to the point where I was visibly pulling back in discomfort because of how bad the pain was. She proceeded to treat the thin skin under my chin with the same dangerously high energy. She then went way too close to my lip which triggered the surrounding nerves and caused immediate numbness on my lip that lasted throughout the rest of the session and is still affecting me a month later.. When I panicked and immediately told her she brushed it off saying "that is normal." It was not normal. When she moved to my forehead, the same thing happened causing the nerves to struck into my scalp line. It was yet another sign of nerve damage. She clearly had zero clue where the facial nerves were located or how to avoid them. After the treatment was finally over, I felt intense pain in my lower jaw, but continued naively assuming it was gonna be okay. I went out to pay, and she again tried to push promotions and more products onto me which I again had to repeatedly say i was not interested. To top it off as im finishing off paying, When the tip portion came onto the checkout screen, she took me back to it several times basically demanding I enter a tip amount I had to skip about three times and awkwardly directly tell her no it was literally a nightmare. By the time I got home, the reality of what happened fully set in. The pain in my jaw kept escalating I couldn't eat and drinking liquids felt like pouring acid onto an open wound. I was horrified to discover the severe burns and painful cuts inside the inner part of my cheeks. I immediately contacted Luna with photos and videos, explaining that I was in so much pain and couldn't eat or drink. She never got back to me. I was left stranded in pain with zero aftercare and had to spend the entire rest of the day desperately researching only to realize that nothing I experienced was normal and It was no wonder I was in so much pain. After sending multiple follow up messages luna finally responded and she actually had the nerve to text: "Since you did not show a strong pain response at the time, I may not have emphasized enough that discomfort can sometimes become more noticeable afterward" Blaming a patient because they "didn't show a strong enough pain reaction" while operating a high powered medical device is crazy. It clearly shows she relies entirely on blind reactive guesswork rather than actual clinical observation or anatomical training and anyone operating heavy aesthetic machinery with that mindset is a public safety hazard that has no business touching someone else's face!! To this day I am still dealing with the pain, nerve damage, and numbness. LUNA AND THIS PRACTICE DO NOT POSESS THE QUALIFICATIONS, TECHNIQUE, OR BASIC HUMAN EMPATHY REQUIRED TO PERFORM ADVANCED ENERGY BASED TREATMENTS SAFELY. THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY, BUTCHER YOUR FACE, HARASS YOU FOR A TIP, AND COMPLETELY GHOST YOU THE SECOND COMPLICATIONS ARISE. SAVE YOUR FACE, YOUR HEALTH, AND YOUR MONEY, AND DO NOT BOOK HERE!!!
