For small…read moretown art exhibits this place is perfect to hold such a gathering but in order to get approval you have to go through the city council to see if they approve of the art. So in other words nothing terribly groundbreaking or controversial. Despite that my friends put out great art and it was a joy to hang out with them and there art. Five stars on the exhibit itself and for all of their hard work! I even bought a painting myself! Now my goal to buy a piece of local art is now completed before the big move to Seattle metro.

The Town of Lyons has always struck me as a mickey mouse outfit. The entire town loses electricity…read moreat least three times a year. My house here loses water completely at least three times a year. The city (Town of Lyons) has made so many billing mistakes on my city bill that I take time OFF WORK each month and walk into their offices in order to pay my bills so that I can get a receipt. They are unbelievably incompetent. Unfortunately, I have lived in the Town of Lyons for over 20 years. Too poor to move, but tired of being stuck in this piddly poor excuse for a town. Good things here 1) low crime rate 2) fairly quiet (except that everyone and their neighbor has at least TWO DOGS that BARK all the time). Lyons looks nice on the outside, but beware.

The Town of Parker is growing rapidly, so the best time for a non-congested walk down MainStreet is…read moremidday on a weekday when there are no events. I was able to enjoy a leisurely stroll, without feeling rushed (but only to mind the 2 hour parking limit). MainStreet parking can be a challenge so try and venture to the lots or Pikes Peak. The downtown area is kept very clean and I was impressed that city maintenance was steam cleaning the side walks. Like growth, change is inevitable, but it is nice to see the landmarks still have their place in town.

Said person will give you the code and it is valid for 6 hours. + Parking lot is huge + It is right next to the PACE center which I would love to see The Minuses: - Really the only downfall is the drive since I live & work on the west side of town. Other than that, no complaints.
