They set up my appointment for a Wednesday afternoon. When I had to stay late for work that day, I called Headhunters repeatedly to cancel or reschedule. Again, not answering their phones. When trying to reschedule today, I came to find out they blocked my phone number. I went in person to ask about that, and apparently, they don't do just hair washing without blow drying. They never mentioned this when I setup the appointment a week prior and never contacted me over the next week to correct this and inform me that the service they scheduled me for was not some they provided. Since no one answered the phone for me to rescheduled, I am blocked and banned from Headhunters. I am very disappointed that they didn't inform me of the service I asked for not being available and scheduling me for it. And that they decided to just ban me when they didn't answer their phones for the reschedule. Please don't go to Headhunters, communication isn't their thing and they were are very rude when I asked about them blocking me.

She does a fabulous job and is very honest about how things will turn out and how much care is required for certain aspects of hair services. Her prices are very reasonable. It is also a pleasure to visit with her. Sierra colored my daughters hair. My daughter has a difficult time with hair cuts and services because she has some sensory issues, and Sierra went at my daughter's pace and comfort level. Rare to find a beautician that understands this and can work with a kid. Most importantly, both my daughter and I really enjoyed how our hair turned out.

I got the cut I did not want. She hacked my hair. I wanted it stacked and about 3 inches in the back. It is so short in back now, about 1/2 half an inch. I said the difference between bad haircut and a good one is 3 weeks. She made me eat my words. Thru the whole time she was cutting all my hair off, she just let it all fall in my face. I felt like I needed to be like a cat and cough up a hair ball. Then after the hair cut came the real scalpping. $42.50 for a hair cut. Wow. That is steep. So I paid her 42 for less then an hours work (45 minutes) and not that great of a job. I will not be going back to this salon.

I also want to clarify that my first review was written after only two visits and revolved around my being unhappily surprised by my total first fora tanning package and bottle of lotion. My review wasn't written in in anger or intended to hurt the business. It was merely a reflection of my earliest impression and the details given were intended to help others avoid having similar experiences through better communication and confirmation of exact prices prior to payment, as well as asking for a receipt. I never thought that the use of one less star, plus a description of an honest financial misunderstanding and advice to remind people to ask about or look for additional fees found in small print on pricing lists and a tip for saving money by buying their lotions at retail rather than salon prices would negatively impact anyone's decision use the salon, but it was bright to my attention recently that giving our fullest support to our favorite local businesses is our way of helping keep the doors open, and now that I've been tanning there for several months, they've earned the additional star as well as my wish for much continued success for a long time to come.
