This failure of In November of 2013, I was harassed by a completely incompetent, dishonest, self contradicting, corrupted police officer. He made up four different stories to pretend that there was something I did and didn't even bother putting the correct street name of where he pulled me over. What I did was a textbook maneuver, straight out of my old driver's education booklet. Instead of pulling over the speeding driver that interfered with me perfectly entering the left lane for a u turn on a nearly traffic devoid street, decided to avoid his responsibility, by helping that speeding driver get away. That was all it took to realize that he had absolutely no concern for the safety of the community, respect for law abiding citizens, any integrity at all and no intention of earning his pay in honestly. He it did it entirely because of the corruption that plagues the community and telling nothing other than lies for his scumbag buddies. If he actually did think he was telling the truth at any point in time, then he probably was on acid. Considering the fact that he didn't even put a correct ID# on his ticket, he may have in fact been impersonating a cop. I can honestly say that Crowley did not speak a single word of truth or one second of that time constructively. Two of his entirely fake stories of the same incident on his written statement of complete perjury, claim that there was a three car incident involved, but he was describing a four car incident and was on a different street than the 3 officers that showed up on later. Unfortunately, those three guys didn't really bother to arrest him after he helped the person that actually was speeding get away. What he told me at first was completely different, he accused me of cutting off the speeder that actually passed me then accused me of cutting him off. If either of those opposite lies were true, then he would have needed to have been following me for about 6 minutes while traveling at about 5 miles an hour! That is so preposterous, why didn't he just get out of the car and walk!?That is a total of 4 false stories. I'm sure that I would remember it better, because I wasn't there explicitly to replace lies over facts that never even entered his twisted mind. What he told the court was just written perjury and the horribly corrupted DA was not interested in throwing out a ticket that invalidates itself by Crowley's entirely corrupted pile of garbage that would have lead to docking his pay if the supervisor wasn't too much of a horrible person to uphold the law over protecting his own. Any honest person would feel as nauseated as I was intermittently for the next 6 months of trying to figure out what to do with a government employed criminal. I can only vouch for what I experienced, but Crowley was most certainly not motivated to do the right thing. This is just one of many things that corrupted cops do that needs to stop. Officer Crowley remains at large and will continue to have the opportunity to jeopardize the community because he can obviously not be trusted! I have been a victim along with countless neighbors on my street, family members and friends by the APD. They do not abide by the law, they are completely power hungry and physically, and emotionally abusive! They were patrolling the area looking for something to do when they stopped and came to my door. I answered and asked what they wanted. No cop cams were on, 5 police officers, and no answer. They said they had a call for domestic violence. They proceeded to try and enter the premises by putting their foot in the door, preventing me from closing it. I grabbed my phone and started to record. One officer slapped the phone out of my hand, I picked it up and asked them to turn their cop cams on. 2 of the 5 cops did but backed away from the porch in out of ear shot. On purpose! I told him to leave and remove his foot from my door. He asked to speak with my sleeping children to make sure enriching checked out. I said no, and he shoved me again. I lost my temper, it was 3 am! I said leave, engine is sleeping and if he didn't move his boot from my home, I would use my rights to test him as an intruder and get my gun to remove it for him. At that point, 10 or so more officers showed up. He moved his foot and drew his weapon on me. I shut the door and retrieved my weapon. I have a permit for it and was well within my rights. They had no warrant, and no probable cause to get one. He then opened my door to me holding my gun. I did not point it at him, but he had his pointed at me. I told him "stale mate time to leave. If you try to enter my premises again I will call 911 and fire my weapon to any part of you inside my home. Foot included ". He said he was writing a report. I said do what you gotta do. Just do it off my property. He wrote me a ticket and left it on the door. They lingered for about another 2 hours lighting up my culdesac with their cars. I went to the DA, showed the footage and the ticket was dropped. I had to pay $30 to report the police officer. What a joke. Nothing happened, the whole system is broke, and corrupt APD police officers aren't serving and protecting, they're harassing and imposing. I wish I could leave zero stars, negative 1 million stars. This is just one of many problems over a10 yr span of encounters with them. Sorry for them, I know my rights! Disgraceful the amount of officers that work there, so many arrested on assault and battery charges, intoxication, etc. think twice before calling, know your rights. They have built on additional annexes without ANY noise disturbances or interferences with the surrounding general public. Construction work is prohibited on the weekends, especially Sundays. Nationwide there are city ordinances that strictly prohibit noise disturbances on Sundays being conducted by constantly banging and the movement of any heavy equipment. The average worker expects a full day of rest and relaxation before and after worship services on Sundays. Whether you affiliate with a church body or pray at homes YOU do not expect no one else disturbances, ruddiness, or any disrespect. You have earned your entitlement from the hassle and bassel of a five day work week. Martines Palmeiro Palmeiro Construction (MPC) revernver is estimated to be around 28 million per year. They have an active construction project at 12600 E. Colfax Ave. Aurora, CO across the street from UCHealth. What separates the difference between UCHealth and MPC is professionalism and respect! Since the onset of the project at 12600 E. Colfax for almost two years residents on East 14th Ave. located behind the project has had to endure their total "F" disrespect for their neighborhood. Daily they encountered illegal parking, loud music and pm, illegal work starts at 06:30 a.m. and "F" Sunday workdays with prohibited loud am banging and movements of heavy equipment ALL day. One would think that after repeatedly reporting the adversity to the City of Aurora, CO government-mayor, district ward, code enforcement, police department, and parking enforcement that it would produce results. The effort proved to be fruitless. The Aurora Police Department (APD) was called on a Sunday morning in reference to the continuous noise being generated by the MPC construction. APD stated to call the city code enforcement knowingly that the department is closed on the weekends and does not have an active duty individual to respond to a complaint. APD has no problem responding to ANY complaints about "black males walking down the street in a black mask, black family report of a stolen car, or anything that involves blacks living in the city. read more

I visited the aurora police department to file a report of a hit and run driver. I had a clear video of the suspects face, license plate and car on my dash cam. An officer came out to take a report and then called me back and said they found the c at and the house but the owner didn't want to come to the door so there was nothing they could do. A bunch of lazy racist jerks this whole department should be shut down. Officer Nathan Meier was found passed out drunk, in uniform, on duty, in his unmarked patrol car, on a public intersection, with his car in gear and foot on the brake. First responders and the fire department had to smash his window to get to him and found him and his vehicle had a strong odor of alcohol. Later at the hospital he admitted to going home on duty to his home in Parker, and drinking vodka from the bottle before the insistent. The Aurora police department review board review the case and suggested for him to be terminated from the force. Chief Nick Metz overruled that decision. He claims that no me social condition could be ruled out and therefore they would not investigate for DUI and he would not order for a blood test. Luckily the hospital staff took a blood test for medical reasons and this tests came back to be positive for alcohol. Chief Nick Metz clearly condones and trains this behavior in his officers. We do not need a chief that will protect his officers and their thin blue line flag. We need a chief that will protect us citizens and our red white and blue flag. It is unacceptable for a chief to condone and train this behavior. He has clearly said "if he doesn't this again he will be fired" but I know that if any of us citizens were found armed, on a public road way passed out with alcohol coming from the vehicle they wouldn't refuse to charge us with DUI because they don't know our medical history. At about 0140 this morning while on my way home from work, I was stopped by officer J. Root for driving a suspicious vehicle and for having no visible plates/tags. While I was eventually arrested on a warrant, the manner in which I was treated by Officer Root and the other two male APD officers that responded is worthy of commendation. Officer Root was cordial, respectful, and considerate from the time that he introduced himself to me, to the time that I was transferred into custody at the Aurora Detention Center. Officer Root treated me with decency and dignity, and demonstrated professional conduct throughout. By virtue of my past encounters with law enforcement, I expected an incredibly negative experience. Although being arrested is never desirable, I am grateful for and appreciative of my positive interaction with the Aurora Police Department. My experience at the jail was equally satisfying. All of the APD officers that I encountered this morning were amiable and provided excellent customer service. I fully intend to contact the supervisor on duty to convey my impression. This sort of experience should serve as an example for all law enforcement officers nationwide. In late January of this year, I called APD for assistance with a domestic incident and was treated deplorably by the officers that responded. I have no reason to believe that the police actually care about anyone's mental health. I was being bullied by a Mormon church bishop that expressed his interest in helping people make my life more difficult and facilitated slander against me for about 7 months. I came to the department and instead of hearing my story, they sent me to a hospital. The "therapist" with no soul threatened to send me to the mental hospital, every time I expressed why I was upset. She does not care about anyone either. Once she spoke with my therapist that reiterated what I just said and why she is delusionally incompetent about why she has this job, I was released. I was told to visit her later at the same place within a month, but I never did, because talking to her was only going to exacerbate the abuse. I understand that this was about 2 am and nobody wants to work in the middle of the night at a hospital, that is why someone with no concern for her job actually can be employed anywhere. The police never investigated the problem. I was stuck with a small bill from the hospital of about $60. A few weeks later I was sent a bill for over $1000 from the ambulance company. The police have proved that they don't care about anyone at all. I sure paid for the reckless corruption that the police prove 100 times a day. If you want to help your community write government officials and demand justice. Any one can tell it won't come from the police. They are the real criminals. read more

Officer Taft decided to undermine his true superior's decision to not give me a ticket when I was in an accident. The supervisor did know what he was doing and told us to clear the area to a nearby parking lot. Taft decided to abandon his responsibility as an officer in the process to make my life more difficult after disclosing that his criminal boyfriend is someone that I intend to sue. Had his criminal boyfriend intended to do his job when he harassed me, then there would have been no conflict. This constitutes oppression and absence of concern for the safety of the community. The same is true for his criminal boyfriend. Perhaps someone was getting raped or murdered at the time and his disdain for his true superior's judgement lead to his complete irresponsibility. Yes, I saw his pathetic drawing of the situation that he never saw. It was a pathetic attempt to mock the case that his boyfriend instigated. Someone needs to get these losers to stop defrauding the government for taxes obtained by the people they have no respect for, the community in general. Taking paid time off when they are supposed to be working is not honest, equitable, honorable, just, righteous, constructive, advisable, helpful or reasonable. If you do get a response the cops act like they have better things to do than their jobs of keeping our streets clean. I know that if the drug dealers were gone so would the crackheads. On December 21st at 6:40pm I was in a motor vehicle accident where another car pulled into my lane and struck my vehicle. I immediately called 911, and was told officers would be out to file a report. Flash forward 3 hours and 5 phone calls later (plus 5 inches of snow and a 40 degree drop in temperature) and no officers arrived at the scene. I called the non-emergency line and was told, after waiting for three hours, to exchange insurance information and file a report online. I did so. Now the other person's insurance won't pay because we did not have a police report filed with details of what happened. I am beyond peeved. Cars were in the middle of the road, there was snow piling down, and I told the police officers multiple times that the other driver was not being cooperative. I understand being short-staffed, but three hours of waiting AND poor advice from the dispatchers? What a joke of a police force. read more

The APD deserves less than one star. These are animals that need to be behind bars. They were hired to serve and protect, but all they do is assault and abuse the people paying their wages. The people of Aurora are forced to pay their own abusers. I'm a 66 year old veteran, I just watched a white officer push a black man in handcuffs onto his face in the hospital. I watched as the cop shoved the man by his arm really aggressively, causing the black guy to trip or stumble. The cop said 'quit resisting' and shoved him again, causing the mans face to hit the floor and his head to bleed. I just watched the Active Shooter docuseries episode that shared the story of the shooting at the Harkins theatre in Aurora. I'm writing to express my deep admiration and gratitude for the Aurora PD and all of the officers who served at that event. Seeing the officers, hearing them share their thoughts, recounting their experiences and actions on that day made me feel so proud of being from Aurora. Aurora Pd showed up in front of my house out of no where and arrested me for felony car theft, despite the fact that I'd just arrived home in an Uber and had proof. Took me several months, thousands of dollars, and multiple court dates to show them my overwhelming evidence and get the charges dropped.
