I was a regular client of Olivia's. When she moved on, my appointment was abruptly canceled with little consideration for the inconvenience to me. When I was rescheduled, I was asked to come in at an earlier time that I had already explained I couldn't accommodate. And, just today, they asked me again to come in earlier at a time I can't accommodate. More recently, I booked a skincare consultation with Salma, hoping to receive a personalized treatment plan for dry, dull skin. Instead, the esthetician barely examined my skin before returning with an armful of expensive products. I was only able to sample one of them, and there was virtually no discussion of treatment options or facial services that might address my concerns. The entire appointment felt more like a sales pitch than a professional skincare consultation. As a longtime client, I expected thoughtful recommendations and a customized plan, not pressure to buy products and a poor attitude from someone one who is supposedly a licensed esthetician. I left feeling like my time wasn't valued and that customer care has taken a back seat to retail sales. Also, when I speak to someone at the front desk, I don't think it's too much to ask that they are professional with me but that wasn't the case today with Holly. Sadly, I can no longer recommend SkinEnvy based on the poor business acumen and unprofessionalism of the current staff.

It is not a magic solution after X number of sessions to be totally hairless, it does require continued follow up. However, the results at ALS were apparent right away compared to the last place I was going, so they do have good equipment and technicians! Would recommend considering for your lasering needs.

Thank goodness I met the wonderful Janet! I've been wearing pants every summer in Texas (even in 104 degree weather) my whole life because I've always hated my legs. Shaving gives me instant painful razor burn and has always seemed pointless because you could see the follicles under my skin due to my pale complexion and dark hair. I am the product to two wolverines that got together and made a hairy child. lol. Out of desperation, I purchased a Groupon for Austin Dallas Laser in September of 2017. I kind of thought that it might be too good to be true because it was such a good deal but I am so thankful that I took a chance. With global warming getting worse, I thought I might die this coming summer! I've had several treatments and I can see such a difference! I BARELY have to shave at all and I still have several more treatments to go. This will be my first ever summer that I'm not too embarrassed to wear shorts! I am having Janet do several other areas on my body in addition to my legs because of the fast results I've experienced. I honestly love my appointments with Janet and look forward to them because it feels like I'm hanging out with one of my best girlfriends. She turns something that would traditionally make me feel so very uncomfortable into a nice experience, plus she's a joy to talk to. I've referred 3 great friends to her and they all tell me how much they love her. Janet is able to work with my schedule, she fits me in on weekends, late evening appointments and quick appointments between clients. When I have late evening appointments, she walks me out to my car because she is that sweet! Her business is in a safe place but she just wants to make sure that I don't have any car trouble at night. Her customer service is A+ and I highly recommend scheduling a consultation with her. Janet is awesome! She is wonderful and very professional, I have now seen her for several areas and she will continue to be the only person I go to. As for the people who are reporting this as a "fake business" let me help clear a few things up...I was a little confused the first time I tried to locate her as well but I used common sense and was able to figure it out in a few minutes. The address is correct! When you pull up the outside of the building will say Salons by JC. Think of it as an indoor mini beauty & hair care shopping center. People rent rooms/salons for their personal businesses. Austin Dallas Laser is located inside! As for the people who are in a tiff over text messages vs phone calls or call return time...let me explain that Janet is only one person. This is her business! When you do speak to someone, you are speaking to her directly, there is no receptionist waiting around to do nothing but return your calls. I have seen her appointment book, she is a busy lady so please have some patience. I highly recommend Janet! When I first went to her I was completely new to laser hair removal and she has made it a wonderfully easy experience. THEY ARE NOT FAKE, THEY ARE AMAZING! Austin Dallas Laser is the second laser hair removal place I have gone to (the first being in Upstate NY) and they are the best! I purchased the Groupon for the location in Austin and had a hard time getting in touch with the business so I decided to drive there before asking Groupon for a refund. Their office is in a building with other salon offices so the door reads Nails which was confusing at first, but once I got in there I was scheduled for the next day. Janet is the only one I know of answering the phones in Austin and doing the laser, and hey she's only human- but seriously one you want doing your laser!! She is absolutely wonderful- she goes above and beyond and remembers details from talking to me over a month ago! I could not recommend Austin Dallas Laser more! read more

Janet is an amazing person, and goes far beyond her duties to ensure that as a customer you are completely satisfied with the results. I have been seeing her for almost a year and never had any problems with the scheduling or rescheduling of an appt due to unforeseen circumstances. I live in the middle of Dallas and Austin and have no problems driving the distance simply because the customer service she provides is unparalleled. This is just an example of the type of person she is: on one of my appts several months back, she was running behind with the customers. She felt so bad for having me wait, and I assured her that it was no problem because it was only like 10-15 minutes, she threw in another area to laser (free) just for the inconvenience she believed I went through. read more

I have had 2 appointments with her now and it's been easy to schedule them. She even text me when I missed my last appointment time, and made a slot for me that same day...
