My experience with Dr. Zapalac was unacceptable. He was arrogant, condescending, and dismissive…read morefrom the moment he walked into the room. I came in for a very specific concern--a fluid-filled bubble further back in my neck/throat area--and he made no real effort to understand what I was explaining. He briefly looked at my neck, ears, and inside my mouth and immediately declared that everything was "fine." When I tried to explain a second time that the area of concern was not where he was examining, his attitude became worse. He made patronizing remarks such as, "I'm trying to be nice to you," and repeatedly emphasized how long he has been practicing and how "good" he is, instead of actually listening to his patient. He then used an inappropriate analogy about chest pain and cardiology to justify doing nothing, stating there was "nothing he could do" because he didn't find anything wrong. After already making me feel embarrassed for even speaking up, he said, "If it makes you happy, I'll order a CT, but it's going to show there is nothing there." That statement was unprofessional and dismissive. I would not have scheduled an ENT appointment if there were nothing wrong. I know my own body. Instead of being taken seriously, I was talked down to and treated as if my concerns were foolish. Considering I paid a copay, it felt like I paid to be belittled. The experience was unpleasant from the start. The front desk staff was abrupt and rude, with no courtesy--only demands for my name, insurance card, and copay. The visit lasted less than 10 minutes and felt rushed, impersonal, and focused solely on moving patients through rather than providing care. Dr. Zapalac showed no genuine interest in helping or listening. I will never return to this provider and strongly advise others to seek care elsewhere if they expect respect, professionalism, or to be taken seriously.

This is an efficient office. Office and medical staff are both professional and easy to talk to…read more It was easy to check in and out.  My estimate for the visit was given, which was greatly appreciated. After a brief exam, Dr. Young was able to investigate my problem and come to a solution to help me.  I left feeling confident I would be feeling better soon. Now that time has passed, I can say I do! If you are in North Austin/Cedar Park, I recommend this medical practice for your ENT needs.

We previously gave this place 5 stars but it has definitely went downhill. Our last 4 appointments…read morehave been a complete nightmare. 1) made an appointment to start immunotherapy. Upon arrival they said they won't have that available until end of January (I came sometime in January as per the doctor mentioned previously). I definitely informed the person when I made the appointment and she never said anything. Paid copay for nothing. 2) came back late February or March for the same service and they inform me I needed to make an appointment via some special department for it. Well again, no one told me when I made the appointment and I was very clear when I called. I got visibly upset so they refunded my copay. But still, lots of time wasted with the driving and waiting. 3) third time we waited over an hour for our appointment. Because we love dr nason we let it slide. 4) third time we waited over an hour again. When it's back to back bad service, we need to reconsider finding another clinic. This is a total disrespect for people's time.

This means that one or both of the hearing aids emit loud, squealing sounds about a fifth of the time, unbeknown to her. Today - wearing her mask - mom saw her audiologist, Nancy Innis, and new molds have been ordered. Boy howdy, what a relief. Now then, getting the right molds for my brilliant, funny, joy-to-be-around 89 year old mother is tricky. Expensive and renown experts in various cities had failed and determined that there was nothing more they could do. Mom suffers from severe hearing loss and all of us were desperate three years ago. We were shouting at her while moving our lips and waving our arms in exaggerated ways and half the time she no longer understood what we were trying to tell her. She isn't receptive to sign language. Heartbreaking and stressful to say the least. Then we discovered Nancy Innis - Tejas Hearing Aid Center's audiologist - and she gave my once stone-deaf mother her hearing back. We've been having many, many happy conversations without shouting ever since Nancy came into her life. Thank you for giving me my mama back, Nancy.

I was treated poorly and wouldn't recommend anyone to use this business. Customer service is not their strong point!
