This review is for Kristie, I got a Brazilian blowout last year from her and it lasted about eight months. She did amazing it does take time and it cost money but it's worth every penny. I just had another Brazilian two weeks ago and I can tell you this is a life-changing hair treatment. I love it, and Kristie is so patient, so nice and accommodating, very responsive and just overall great experience.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Stephani is a wonderful stylist.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I called the salon and they said I'd get a call back. Stephanie called back within 10 mins or so and offered the soonest appointment available.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]She then texted me the day before to confirm and when I went in she was very pleasant and comforting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] She asked me the issues I was facing with my hair and I told her along with a cut I hated the faded color of my hair. She recommended a cut and then a tint for which she mixed two colors specifically for the color I wanted. She also recommended a scalp treatment and a few after care hair treatments which really helped my hair care routine since the appointment. She was very meticulous about the whole experience and wanted to make sure my hair was exactly what I wanted. It was a pleasant experience and I'll definitely be going back again.

I had a wedding that I was going to be in and I decided to get a Brazilian and I love the results. It came out amazing. Kristie did my Brazilian and she didn't fantastic job. I couldn't be happier with the end results I got so many compliments on how well my hair hair looked so if you're looking to get a Brazilian, Kristie is the one to do it. She is awesome.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]I had the most DIFFICULT time finding this salon!!! And I've lived in Dublin for 35 years and used GPS[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I called the salon twice and still couldn't find it. Angelique was very nice and still was able to do my hair. She was outgoing and did a great job on my root touch and the color matched perfectly! Definitely recommend her. read more

A stylist can be like a good therapist - they can challenge you, inspire you to do the right thing for yourself, and make you feel refreshed after a session. Anna is my hair therapist and I'm so glad I found her after a recommendation from a coworker. I had bounced around after moving to Pleasanton, but Anna was the only stylist who I felt was honest with me and actually tried to execute my vision. I enjoy our comfortable silence during sessions and the ease of scheduling (I've even gotten in on the same day!). I can't recommend this salon enough. Be sure to schedule with Anna directly, there's often not a receptionist at the phone. read more

Saw the salon on Yelp and loved the reviews so I decided to try them out. Very easy to work with. Called for an appointment and told them a day I was looking and she needed to check to see who had an openings that day. I got a call back within 10mins with an appointment with Anna. She text me the day before my appointment for a reminder and let me know ahead of time what kind of payment they accept, which I was glad she did. I got there and Anna asked what I was looking for, showed her a picture and she did exactly what I asked for. She really worked with me and was patient when I wanted to go a little shorter a few times. In the end, loved the outcome. I will definitely be coming back. read more

Angelique was the sweetest soul, such a breath of fresh air! I have had such a rough journey with my hair, and it has frankly destroyed my self esteem. Not only did she follow the reference photo that I gave her to a T, she also communicated with me throughout the whole process. Ok this is going to be a long 2 part review! This is literally my first time writing a Yelp review - but Kristie literally changed my life & I am not exaggerating when I say that. PART 1 I first found the salon when trying to buy Milbon products. Michelle helped me pick out the smoothing line to help my dry, frizzy, coarse textured hair & recommended the deep conditioning treatment from Milbon that they offer. I loved how the shampoo worked on my hair! I rarely let it air dry because it is so coarse & frizzy, but the shampoo really helped. I booked the conditioning treatment with Kristie. When telling her about my hair concerns, she mentioned a Brazilian Blowout treatment. I'd never heard of it, & truly was hesitant because I have never invested a lot in my hair. She gave me the best hair cut & blowout ever, and even with a little extra treatment, my hair looked SO GOOD. I was so happy with how it looked. PART 2 I had given up on my natural hair texture & figured that I would always need to use heat on my hair in order to love my hair. I hated hair wash day because it was such a process. Shampoo, condition, leave in conditioner, blow dry cream, blow dry, style with a heat tool. Hair oil, & heat again the next day.... Kristie was so informative and helpful when i went in for the first time, not pushing me to get the Brazilian blowout but giving me all the helpful info. I decided to make the investment, and she made it happen at 6am on a Sunday before a friends bridal shower. She is seriously the best!! And when I tell you, MY LIFE HAS CHANGED, I am not kidding. I teared up when I washed my hair at home for the first time and it dried STRAIGHT and SMOOTH. No frizz. No texture. No hassle. Its been almost 3 months and my hair still looks and feels amazing. It is smooth, it is growing, my ends are not dry and coarse. And I am overall so much more happy & confident getting ready for events is less stressful & I don't have to spend 2+ hours on just my hair... a game changer!! I could not recommend Kristie more, and I couldn't recommend this salon more. I especially could not recommend a Brazilian blowout MORE. If you're considering this, I suggest talking to them and seeing how this could help you since everyone's hair is so different. I just had to share, because these before and afters are insane & I am so happy I should also mention I got the Brazilian about 6 months after my initial haircut with Kristie. read more

Kristie is THE expert for Brazilian Blowouts. I have been getting them for many years and her technique is the best. I just had my second with her after I relocated to this area. I highly recommend Tina Inge at Austin Louis Salon in Dublin California. Tina has been doing my hair for 18 years. My blonde highlights are amazing. Tina takes extra care to not damage my hair. My hair is beautiful and always healthy My cuts are always perfect. Tina is Vidal Sassoon and Toni and Guy trained. She is constantly learning and growing. I've neglected my hair quite a bit since the start of the pandemic and was in the market for a new stylist. My hair had gotten so dry and unhealthy I suddenly decided I needed to find a salon that could take me same day. I was really grateful that a spot had opened up with Aundrea! - she gave me a great haircut that turned out exactly the way I wanted - checked in on length before taking off dead ends and as she layered - the vibe was relaxed and genuine... It was late so only a couple of other people were there, but at one point we were all chatting it up together. Kind of like a barbershop vibe but in a nice hair salon setting Thank you Austin Louis Salon and Aundrea! I love my hair again and enjoyed the whole salon experience. I love this hidden gem of salon. Everyone is super nice and welcoming. I came across the salon on search for service for party. I came across Aundrea whom was really sweet and nice to take me in last minute... we connected right away and she took her time with my hair. When I came to her my hair was very unbalanced . Now many months down with her magical hands, my hair is voluminous, layered and looks healthy. I wish I found this place long time ago..: I'm very happy with everyone here, even aunty whom owns the salon and Gina are amazing as well. Since I've moved to Dublin, I've been here twice: once before COVID started and once a few months ago and both times I was very happy with my haircut. I was able to get same day appointments with no issues. The prices are reasonable and they never made me feel rushed. All the staff were very nice. Anna H. cut my hair and she texted me a few days later to make sure I was happy with my hair cut! They even offered drinks and snacks as well. None of the staff wore masks since it was optional then, but I had mine on and felt safe. I will definitely be going back to Anna for my next haircut. read more

I called Priti (P-R-I-T-I) the receptionist at 1:00 PM to ask if the threading specialist I like was available. She told me yes, the specialist was available today and also tomorrow. I explained that I live an hour and a half away and specifically drive out for this particular service provider because she does great work. Priti said that was fine and told me there were no appointments scheduled, so I could come in anytime. At 2:35 PM, I called back to confirm that I would be coming and asked if there was an appointment available. She said they had an opening at 3:15 PM. I said that would work. She then abruptly hung up without taking my name or confirming anything. When I arrived and parked, I called back because I realized she had never taken my name to hold the 3:15 appointment. I had my seven-year-old daughter with me, who is sick, so I wanted to be sure the appointment was secured before bringing her inside. Priti told me she could not put my name down unless I physically came into the salon. I did not understand why my name could not simply be written down over the phone, especially since she was the one who hung up without confirming details. Then she started to say, show me your car .. I will come out to see you in your car so I know you are here. I got frustrated because why would I want anyone to see my car when I'm trying to give her my name for the appointment?! She said she doesn't believe me that I'm here and calling to put my name on the time, I was so confused! The situation escalated unnecessarily. Instead of resolving it professionally, she involved someone named Neil, who told me they would not service me and that I had to leave. For someone who drives 1.5-2 hours specifically for their services, this level of rudeness and lack of professionalism is unacceptable. Clear communication and basic courtesy would have prevented this entire situation. Unfortunately, due to the poor and dismissive customer service, I will not be returning. I will also report this to the business bureau.

The lady recommended I get a wax being that I only wanted to clean the area because I do have micro shading on my brows. When I walked out, I looked and there was still some hair that she did not clean up and missed. I didn't feel like going back because I was in a rush that day. For the price I paid I expected neat clean brows. I won't be going back.

I have been going to Michele for many years... She (and her staff) are changing the world "one haircut at a time!" I tell her that when i am at the salon and see how she informs the client (before or after me) new tips and ways to style it up in a clip ( or in my case, she taught me how to use ONE BOBBY PIN to hold ALL of my hair up..just for fun) The Stylists here keep up on current trends, styles, and the very latest looks. They attend classes and workshops to stay at the top of their craft. They do wedding groups, and birthday groups (Like a sweet 16) When you go there you will notice what a happy place it is... You will be asked to choose your beverage of choice ( Coffee, Tea, Hot Chocolate, Soda, Water, or Crystal Light ) They also have packaged snacks and treats for everyone, even the kids are asked what they would like... They have a great line of products for sale, they can suggest which one to get for your hair type. Their brands of color and highlight products are the very finest you would want on your hair, and are consistently available... There's something about the good feeling i get when i have an appointment there. Last week, I went to Austin Louis salon for the Brazilian blowout. This was my 3rd blowout in the last 5 years and my 1st one at this salon. I didn't have good experience with my last blowout so, I wanted to try a new place. I read reviews about this salon and wanted to give them a try, which I'm glad that I did. Kristie, is the one who did my Brazilian blowout. She was contacted me before my appointment to just make sure what kind of service I want and how my hair condition is. The day of the appointment, as soon as she started the care, I could tell the difference between her work and the ones that I saw and experienced in the past. You can tell that she loves what she does and she delivers it all into your hair. The kindness that she has made that 3-4 hours flew by so quickly. The transformation of my hair from the ultimate frizzy to the ultimate silky, smooth and straight was phenomenal. She even gave me a complementary haircut, because she felt like I needed it. I had a flight to Mexico the next day and my hair was the most perfect hair in our resort, despite of all the swimming and humidity. I'm reposting this review for Michele's new location, Austin Louis Salon in Dublin which has a modern, warm, and inviting decor with very friendly people. I have been a client of Michele's for 20 years and met her when I was just a little girl coming in with my mom, who is also a client of hers after 20+ years. I have grown so attached to the work she does and the person that she is. I look forward to every grooming session with her as it is a mini vacation from my busy life. Michele takes the time to get to know each and every one of her clients and their hair. I no longer have to say a word to her about what I need done as far as cut and color are concerned-she just knows what to do to make me happy and she's super quick about it too. I honestly have never been disappointed with a highlight or cut in all of the years I have been coming to Michele. I'm still amazed with the quality of highlights that I continuously receive.She gets so close to my roots that my hair looks great for months! I have been getting my hair cut and done by Michelle since I was a baby. Michelle has actually done my mom's hair since I was in the womb! (Just a little history for you). Needless to say, Michelle is my life saver when it comes to my hair. I can give her any general direction of what I want to do with my hair and she takes it from there. Trust me when I say this, I am not the easiest client. In my high school and college days, one day I wanted my hair to be pitch black dark and the next appointment I was hoping for a head full of blonde highlights.. which I'm sure you know is not the easiest to accomplish. Then the next appointment I'd want a red tint and back to a dark brown. Michelle has always taken my hair challenges with grace and professionalism. She will do whatever she can to make your hair color and style exactly how you want it while making sure she doesn't damage the integrity of your hair. After many years with the same hair stylist, I decided to take a leap of faith and explore someone new. I stepped outside my comfort zone and searched yelp rather than ask friends or family for a referral. Reading many yelp reviews, I decided to make a hair appointment with Michelle at Austin Louis Salon. I have to say, I am more than pleased with my choice. The moment I walked into her salon, I received a very warm and friendly greeting from Michelle. She asked me what I wanted, listened, then offered her suggestions before taking the scissors to my hair. During my cut, she was telling me what she was doing and taught me new techniques with blow drying and styling my hair. The next day, I received a message from Michelle asking how I liked the cut and how I did with the new styling method. Found a new salon! After Yelping a while and looking for a new salon, I called another salon (see another review of mine) and left a message on a Sat and I did non get a call back until today and they are open on Mondays. No thank you! I gave up and Monday evening and REALLY needed to get my hair done, so I called another salon with rave reviews Monday evening and received a call back before they even opened the next day. I was able to get in Tuesday at 10:30 -perfect! I know what you are thinking - if she can get me in that fast is she any good? Well, yes Anna IS that good. I ended up getting color (omg, my roots were so bad I was using hats more than ever) a haircut, and a full highlight. I had a party at my house that night and had lots of compliments and was happy to share this little gem. The owner, Michele, came in and was a hoot, I could talk to her all day. I just recently went to to the opening day of the Austin Louis Salon and got my hair done for my birthday. The whole feel of the place was inviting and relaxing. They have fresh water, coffee, and cookies to enjoy while you wait and the people there are lively and kind. It was really cool to go to a salon like that since the previous places I've been to did not have very good service. I had my hair cut, deep conditioned, bleached, and dyed by Vandy. I believe that she is new to the salon but even so she is an AMAZING stylist. I had Dyed my hair myself a while before and it was faded and damaged. I was entirely unhappy with how it felt and looked. I told Vandy I wanted Greenish blue hair which is a tricky color to do since those colors have a broad spectrum but it turned out really nicely. I have gotten a lot of compliments on my hair in the past few weeks. I strongly recommend to have your hair done by her whether you want a crazy color or cut or something more refined. read more

I've been going to Michele for about six years and I would follow her wherever she goes. She is thorough, keeps note cards on all her clients and keeps up to date with all the latest techniques and products. She is very generous and always finds a way for me to try a new product or will let me return something if I don't like it. Her skills are amazing. She always seems to know what will be best for my hair and always knows exactly what to do when I describe to her what I want. If I try a new color or a new style that I don't like she will always fix it for me, no questions asked. She was also the first in the area to do Brazilian Blowouts and I was one of her first BB clients. I am now hooked! I had my hair cut today by Michelle and I'm obsessed! I've never written a review for anything on Yelp, but this definitely deserved one. Michelle is so knowledgeable about what she's doing and really took her time to make sure my hair looked amazing. She gave me some great recommendations on how to care for my hair and I can tell that she truly wants her clients to feel great. She suggested I change my part to the other side of my head...who knew that something so simple could change my look so drastically?! The true test is was the next day when I had to style my hair myself - usually I never get it to look as good as the stylist - but with Michelle's tips, my hair looked just as beautiful the day she cut it. I went to see Anna. She did an amazing color for my sister n law and i got the most cutest edgy hair cut from Michelle Moss! OMG i had jaws dropping at how racy and sexy my hair cut was! Anna really listened to my sister n law for her hair color and Michelle advised her on what hair colors would look great. Her hair turned out so beautiful! My sister has been going to se. Michele Moss for years! I moved to the Tri Valley area a year and a half ago and knowing my sisters hair always looked fabulous went to see Michele. Knowing how hard it is to get my hair to look good (it's part curly, part straight) I tried Michele. I loved hat she got my color spot on and took the time to cut my hair to bring out the curl. I went recently for my first time to this salon and got my hair done by Vandy. Shes awesome and knows exactly how I wanted my hair even though I was being difficult. She was able to correct my platinum blonde hair (which was poorly done by another stylist in a different salon) and was even able to put hot pink in sections of my hair without it bleeding. I HIGHLY reccommend this salon and Vandy. From what I hear the other sylists are great as well. I also recieved a hair cut from Vandy and she gave me what is called "victorias secret bedroom layers" and it is exactly what I wanted. Michele is an all-around excellent, professional, and experienced hairdresser whether you need your hair colored or cut. At every visit she will analyze your hair and check in with you to customize what needs to be done based on what you want and how your hair is looking. It's not the same thing every time. She's also good at styling hair so you don't leave the salon with a good hair color and haircut but with an unflattering or old-fashioned style :) !
