What can I say that everyone else hasn't? This was the highlight of the bachelorette party weekend. The service of being picked up at our hotel and driven to Lake Travis (about 40 minutes from downtown) made it so easy. Our group was a bit wild and very loud, but the captain and bus driver ensured we were safe. We all left with the feeling that it was the most fun we'd had since college. My only complaint is that I did not like being taken to dock up with other boats. We weren't asked, but rather just told that was how it goes. I honestly don't know if this was a choice given to the coordinator of our group, but if not, it definitely should be something to ask when taking reservations. We were a boat of females flanked by two boats full of dudes and it was just...not my ideal situation. read more

We booked the boat tour for a bachelorette party and it was AMAZING!! We had great service from the beginning to end. We didn't use their limo service, but instead had another limo drop us off to Lake Travis. After a de-briefing by our captain, we got into a double-deckered boat. The boat was definitely spacious and we had ample time to play games, drink and go into the lake (coming off the slide in the back!). They even have a little toilet on the boat.. it was pretty hilarious. Our captain's name was Chris and he was really great! Our stereo broke down in the middle and they were able to fix it for us! When you get to the destination point, there are a bunch of other party boats there and they can link up and have a party - Be sure to put away your valuables. We put away our purses into the cubby's on the boat, but our Bachelorette's tank ended up on a neighboring boat somehow... The slide off the back into the lake is a charming touch! Overall, a really great way to spend the afternoon in Austin. Tip: bring some games to play, ice, a bottle opener, sunblock, hats, etc. read more

We had a captain and he took us to Devils Cove. While when swam, they cooked the fajitas we brought on board with us. They took care of us well! I am so grateful for the day I have spent with Angel and Austin on Lake Travis. After a long and hectic week (month really), the pair at Austin's Boat Tours have helped me achieve complete relaxation by taking care of EVERYTHING on our tour. Between Angel's extremely courteous and thorough demeanor and Austin's laid back Captain attitude our excursion ran flawlessly from start to finish. After some discussion sorting out the details with Angel, we arrived at the agreed time at the dock and were greeted with warm smiles and a clean and modern vessel. We cruised around and on over to the place where we dropped anchor and soaked up rays and cocktails. The couple could not have been more professional while also being very friendly. I've gone out with other boat companies and been satisfied, but never had the stellar experience that Austin Boat Tours has given me. Would I use them again? Yes, and already have it in the books! Would I recommend them to my boss, client, coworker, friend, or family? I feel it would be a disservice not to share my discovery. Austin Boat Tours was amazing! We went on the double decker and had about 25 people. Everyone was comfortable and we had such a great time. This double decker is much nicer than ones that other companies have to offer. My husband and I rented this boat on a Saturday afternoon for 3 hours the day after our wedding and invited all of our friends to spend the day with us. There was a possibility of rain and I was a little worried because other companies usually make you forfeit your deposit unless there's lightening. But Austin Boat Tours said we could cancel with no penalty if it rained. They were very laid back, but also super professional. They made sure we were safe on the boat and had everything we needed. They were so awesome and we will use them anytime we need a boat on Lake Travis. Thanks, Captain Angel and Captain Austin!!! read more

Austin's Boat Tours was a great time. Our driver (fittingly named Austin) took care of us, down to grilling the burgers as well as maneuvering through boats of bikini clad Texas girls and bootie bumping jet skis. Tough job. It was his second group that day. So after hating Austin for his life, our bachelor party crew anchored right in the middle of one of Lake Travis' bays, and the party came to us. With a slide on our pontoon, I don't t know why it wouldn't have. I wish I could say we had the loudest speakers, but there was one boat that crushed it. I have rented from three different boat rental companies on Lake Travis in the past year and Austin Boat Tours is the best one by a land slide!!!! The marina used is a private, gated area so you don't have to worry about anything happening to your vehicle while out on the lake. Their boats are newer and much nicer with amenities that you would expect on a boat owned by an individual for personal use (not a commercial boat). We had a group of 20 on the double decker party boat yesterday and had an excellent time. The captain was very personable and friendly; you would have thought he was a friend of the group if you didn't know better. He made sure that we were well taken care of and even cooked our food for us. This allowed everyone in the group to enjoy their time together at the lake. He also assisted with set-up and tear-down of our gear. The price was also very reasonable. I have paid far more to receive sub-par, unfriendly service for boats that have broke down or run out of gas rental. Cpt Austin and Cpt Santos were awesome!!! I plan on canceling a pending reservation I have with a different outfitter later this summer and booking with Austin Boat Tours instead. read more

We had an awesome time when we took out the yacht for a bachelor last weekend. They have to be one of the easiest companies to work with. We had to make last minute changes and thought we had to cancel but Angel and Austin worked it out so that we were able to go through with getting out in the lake and have a great time. There prices are the most reasonable on the lake and they have all types of boats to fit every budget. Also, make sure to get the option where they cook lunch. It's cheaper than bringing all the stuff on board with you and the burgers were amazing. read more

I planned an outing with Austin's Boat Tours for myself and 4 friends. The owner Angel was so easy to work with and very accommodating. We booked a party bus to take us to and from the lake. When all the party buses ended up getting taken by prom-goers just days before our trip (totally out of her control), leaving us without one for our trip back to Austin, Angel went out and bought a 9 passenger limo to make sure we were taken care of. Seriously! Who does that?!?! Our bus arrived at our condo about 20 minutes early and the driver Ken was terrific, allowing us to stop along the way to pick up some alcohol which was all we really needed as Angel provided everything else. Upon arriving at the marina, we were greeted by Jessica who made sure we had everything we needed. Everyone working at the marina was super nice and very accommodating. Our captain Andrew couldn't have been nicer or more chill and once we were out and anchored in the cove, he cooked all our food. And our bartenders were awesome. They made sure we had fun and were always attentive. Hot off the grill burgers and dogs, cold beer, our music blasting, the day was a blast and couldn't have been any better except for one thing: it came to an end! 4 hours went by way too fast! read more

Everything was seamless. The party bus picked us up on time and let us make a few stops en route for drinks to bring on the boat. Overpriced and low quality. It's the most I've ever paid for a boat party so I was expecting quality and was very disappointed. The boat didn't even have a ladder so getting on and off was very difficult. One of our folks injured her foot and the first aid kit was incomplete, did not have a wrap or aspirin. A few other things added to a not enjoyable experience. Similar to some other reviews some of the male staff were patronizing to women. Some of the staff were polite but overall poor quality. This might sound like an exaggeration, but Austin's Boat Tours was the absolute best thing I did on my weekend trip to Austin. There's nothing better than being out on the lake, bbq'ing, drinking brews, and partying with your closest friends. I highly recommend requesting Hunter F. as your boat captain - he was really fun and friendly, but kept things safe and professional. I'm already planning my next trip in June and September - yea, it was that awesome. If you have a group larger than 25 people, you can get two boats and just join them together at your destination. My friends and I had an amazing experience with Austin Boat Tours! I decided to rent a party barge on a whim and Angel was very helpful in working with me on finding an available time/date that would work for us during this busy summer season. The booking of the boat was easy and stress-free and Angel was very quick about following up regarding my questions. On the day of the barge, Austin was an awesome captain! He cooked our food for us and basically made sure the entire day was a worry-free and fun experience for all of us on the boat. I would highly recommend these guys to anyone, they were laid back, the boat was the perfect size with plenty of seating (we rented the double decker) and it was just an overall fantastic experience. Had a good experience. The staff was super easy to work with in booking and adjusting our reservation. It was quick to check in and well marked at the marina. I would not, however, suggest Captain Mike if you have an option. He was vert low energy, quiet, and frankly rude at some points. Not the personality type to be captaining a party boat. He also smoked cigarettes while we had a pregnant woman on board. In addition, he struggled to anchor for over an hour so we couldn't get in the water the last portion of the trip. This didn't seem to be a problem with other boats, and the other captains from Austin's Boat Tours also seemed fun, friendly, and like they enhanced the boating experience. At the end he made some girls feel uncomfortable about a tip. We brought cash to tip on top of a captains fee, but decided against it after how he acted. Other than him, the day was such a fun one on the water. read more

There are various boat rental options available but some can be over crowded, sold out, or even overbooked. Austin Boat Tours did a great job from beginning to end with our reservation. One of my friends rented a boat for us and the process was seamless. The dock is easy to locate, complimentary parking, friendly and professional staff and their boats are in great condition. The amount you pay for the service you receive is unbeatable. I mean yeah you could be on 6st or the Rock Rose at the Domain but wouldn't you rather be on a beautiful lake, full of beautiful people and BYOB :). Took a sunset cruise (6:00-8:00) in July. It was running a little late and no one was there to greet us or tell us where to go to wait to check in but there was a pavilion we waited in. About 10 minutes after our cruise was to begin someone came and had all our names to sign in. We inquired about where we could purchase drinks, but they did not have any available. Bring your own drinks- they said coolers are allowed and I would recommend it! The lady checking us in said she had a 24 pack of water we could purchase but it was not cooled. I guess since we were running late she felt badly and said she would put some water on a cooler in the boat for us. Thankfully- July in Texas is pretty brutal! They decided to go ahead and move us to another boat so that the captain could just jump on and take us out so it wouldn't start too late. Captain Mike jumped on directly from another boat and we left out about 30 minutes behind (but they made sure that they tacked on the extra time- the captain verified that no one needed to be back exactly at 8:00 for another reservation). The actual cruise was very nice and Captain Mike was amazing. He could answer any questions or just chill and let us enjoy the sights. The accommodations were nice and we didn't feel squished. We had 10 guests and the captain on our tour which was a great number. It was definitely a relaxing cruise and not a party cruise. The boat goes around to various spots within the lake passing by the Oasis and Hippie Hollow, Dam, and we did not disembark or swim. There are other party boats that are more active, but that is not what we were looking for. I would recommend the sunset cruise but bring your own drinks and cooler! Disappointed in the overall experience with Austin Boat Tours. The transportation was great and driver was very nice, but the boat itself was a bit of a mess. Our slide was broken, the speaker system did not work, and our captain did not have an anchor or something, so we tried to dock in the main area but couldn't and ended up spending over an hour trying to figure it out and inevitably tied the boat on the land. It is a good time out there on the water, but just feel we did not receive the service and product that we paid for. read more

I just went fly boarding, and it was AWESOME!!! It looks scary, but it isn't. After five minutes you'll be flying around with a water propelled jet pack! It was so much fun, and they were really good teachers. They made learning easy and comfortable. They are also less than half the price of other places I've seen that have fly boards. Don't be afraid, just do it, and you won't regret it. So fun!! read more
