If I could give this practice a minus rating I would. I have tried most doctors at this practice…read more They all just treat you like paperwork here's a script and go home no further thought or care. I was recommended dr Hogarth as being someone who would actually care and take notes and not just shove medication at me as a solution. I made sure I made an appointment each week as I have a lot of health issues that I need monitored. I had just requested a pshyciatric evaluation as i was not feeling right and the diagnosed was ptsd. The report recommended some first line treatments. He gave me 2 medications one that was very effective one that is causing bad side affects and affecting my quality of life. I went to my.next appointment to review what he had put me on but he told me he couldnt help me. I left and continued to suffer. I decided to get an emergency appointment as i couldnt stand what this medication is doing to me. He again refused to change the meds. So i asked if i was allowed to have 2 of the ones that actually give some relief and stop the other one. He said no he agreed that 1 and a half was.all he could give. I told him that i appreciate it and its better than nothing. I had also asked for a script refill for my night time tablets. As iam straight to the point i expressed my concern about just putting someone on a new medication and failing to act conisering that i had reached out multiple.times. after my appointment i only received one of my perscriptions. I thought it was an oversight. I called the front desk explaining this and i was completely disreguarded and hung up on. So i thought how can i fix this so i contacted the practice and made a complaint about all of this both the doctor and the receptionist. When the manager taaid calleed me regarding my concerns he said his main concern was that i complained about his staff. He did not want to hear anything i had to say. I. Explained that all i did was raise a concern with the doctor about duty of care and needed a medication review. He informed me that i was no longer to see doctor hogarth all my hard work to build a rapport and have my health monitored had gone down the drain. Iam in absolute shock at the way i have been treated by this practice. There have been a few really helpful receptionists however one of them named tatiana was the worst and treated me like i was nothing even though i cried and explained that i couldnt continue the medication and needed help she just disreguarded me completely. This left me feeling alone and upset and most of all dissapointed at a medical practice that is supposed to look.after their patients not leave them to suffer. I have no other option to start from scratch which is very frustrating. I would never recomment this practice unless you want a script refill or a doctors note. For any other service they dont seem to put any effort in and have no desire to correct the problem and will leave you feeling very unheard. This doctors surgery is a danger as leaving a patient suffering can be deteimental in so many ways. Iam strong and will just keep at it but next time the person they do this to may not be as strong as me. This treatment could trigger all sorts of problems including self harm and suicide and iam deeply concerned for any future patients that may experience something similar. I will be contacting the for health group which they are a part of to advise them of this misconuct and faliure to act on a complaint. This is a long review but i wanted to give all the information so others could avoid this happening to them as well. Thanks for reading.

It also served an army camp located on Springbank Rd for all medical needs. The services extended to family of those who served in the war as everyone had to cope with the trauma of war physically, mentally and emotionally, so they also assisted with psychological therapy as well as physiotherapy. Nowadays, it still continues to play an important part and has also extended its services to the general public. To go there is like going in amongst an army barracks as that was the style it was modelled on, it's all single story for easy access but it is a horizontal maze. The complex also houses a cafe and a gift shop. It basically offers a specialist service for various medical conditions and patients are accepted via a referral from a GP. The referrals are usually for people who do not have private health cover for treatment, and they do have excellent clinic and xray services for outpatients. I once actually managed to get a referral for some physiotherapy but once they learnt I had private health cover (despite the fact I was technically unemployed), I was dismissed from receiving any more treatment.

Which makes the place a little difficult to find your way around. I have had to attend their Out Patient Department over the past two years and have found the staff most helpful, attentive, and very professional. The Medical staff are highly specialised, giving me great confidence in the treatment I have received. Having a medical background and having visited over the years a large number of hospitals, finding this Hospital a pleasure to visit.
