I want to say thank you to Dr.Pardis and her team. Honestly, I knew my son had autistic traits since he was 1 year old and we moved from OC to Riverside which caused a delay with getting him an appt with a doctor and a referral and his diagnosis. But when I called Dr.Pardis' office they assisted me with that step and took away a hurdle. I was never hesitant to get the confirmation, because of the stims, and echolalia my Son has among other things. Entering the office felt warm like if we had been there for years. My son was in a comfort zone and I appreciated that. The day of the official diagnosis I was so overwhelmed with emotions, sadness was the biggest, even though I knew, it was real. And Dr.Pardis validated me as a parent in all my feels and I truly love her for that ! She spoke to my husband included him without him being there with no hesitation. Everyone is so warm and welcoming. I was nervous the 1st appointment with my son not too sure what to expect. I walked in with him having the symptoms of hand flappin, mumbling, banging on toys, anger, kinda off in his own world. We were greeted and offered cookies gold fish crackers and coffee for myself. I started the paperwork while he played it was alot but I was able to take my time and not have to rush. Our 2nd appointment we were offered refreshments again and the test was play based so he didn't even know he was being tested. Dr Amirhoushmand even tested him while he played with bubbles so the hand flapping came out and him making his body rigid. They are so wonderful here and I feel my son is in good hands. Best doctor I've ever went to. If you are looking for an office that will go above and beyond your expectations, this is where you want to go. I am a single Mom who was struggling to get referred to a doctor to get my 3 year old assessed for autism. I got the run around from the pediatrician, after several referrals to offices that didn't have appts until months later, I went online and decided to do some research of my own to find a place for my Son. I was told by the 3 offices I was referred to that were just a joke, that it could take a year to get him officially diagnosed. I found the Autism Center online by doing a Google search. And it had 5 star reviews, and after looking at the pictures of how awesome it looked, I decided to give them a call. The customer service was excellent, and the doctor is so sweet and so professional. And is the first doctor I have ever met that actually cares about the patients and wants to help them. She answered all my questions, made my Son feel so comfortable, directed me to all the resources I was going to need, even a dentist who specialized in working with special needs children, and diagnosed him the same day. I was so blessed to have found this office. Anyone looking for help with a diagnosis for their child should go to this office. Anywhere else would be a waste of time. They have snacks for kids, toys everywhere, and coffee for the parents. Just the most wonderful place. The doctor is amazing and was an angel for me and my Son. Thank you so much to her and her team. Dr. Pardis was amazing. She understood my child and never made me feel like I was crazy for having suspicions. My child was diagnosed with ASD level 2 & knowing that I did the right thing by pushing at an early age and not waiting warms my heart. We took my daughter here for an autism evaluation. First appointment was to fill out packets of questions. I started to feel overwhelmed and got emotional and Dr A was extremely helpful at calming my nerves. Second appt was the evaluation and the ladies in the office let my daughter play with some toys while we waited. Dr A led us into her office with lots of interactive toys and started her evaluation. She included my husband and I in the whole process and made us feel so comfortable with the whole situation. She truly seems to care about her patients and eased mine and my husband's minds. Dr. A is AMAZING! She is very passionate about what she does, you can tell she honestly cares about her patients and their needs. I took my son in today for an evaluation, and Vanessa (front desk) was very pleasant to be around, she was very friendly and offered my son some toys to entertain him while I filled out paper work. Her kind gesture did not go unnoticed. Thank you Vanessa! The consultation I had with Dr. A was very thorough she answered every question and concern I had, went through the paperwork I filled out and answered questions I had pertaining to some questions. Dr. A also went through some exercises that go parallel with my sons diagnosis, she pointed out certain things my son did (of which I did not notice and probably would not have thought twice about if not been pointed out to me)of which I as a parent can do differently to benefit him. I'm very grateful I found her and blessed with all the information she provided me. Dr. A is breath of fresh air, she is very direct and does not sugar coat stuff to "ease a situation" it may not be everyone cup of tea but I truly I appreciate her directness and love that about her! I took my son to a phycologist to get him evaluated for autism, and the psychologist did not administrate the correct testing and misdiagnosed my son. Thank god! I made an appointment with Dr. Pardis beforehand because I would not have known if it weren't for her and the team I would've had the wrong misdiagnoses for my son. I am forever grateful that I had my son get reevaluated by Dr. Pardis. She made sure I understood what type of testing she was administrating, I understood the concepts of the testing itself, and also that I knew the programs out there that my son is entitled to. I was referred to this facility by my outpatient program as I have been having issues with substance abuse and staying sober. After meeting with Pardis Amirhoushmand I got to open up and discuss underlying issues I never realized still affected me today. She assisted me with a report for my attorney for a case that has been haunting me for the past year. She's gone above and beyond everything I could has ever expected. Today I know theres things i can do to deal with my anxiety and depression. She has been a major part of my recovery and I still don't know how to thank her. Dr. Amir is absolutely amazing. She's not super judgmental like some counselors. She takes the time and really digs deep to get to the root of the problem while building a rapport with the child to identify their needs and help the parents to understand what is needed to gain a better understanding of their kids. Its been a little over 6 months and there has been such a significant improvement for my son. Even Dr. Garcia has such a pleasant disposition and listens to the needs of the child as well not pill pushing or worried about making money per-say you can tell there is a definite "I CARE" vibe from all the faculty here. Going to an appointment to see if your child falls into an autism spectrum is not something any parent is prepared for. I was scared of what I was going to hear and I had absolutely no idea what to expect. But Dr. Amirhoushmand made us feel comfortable taking our child there as soon as we walked through the door. After three weeks of submitting paperwork for an extension on my disability claim (to part time disability) I was told it was denied. A therapist that I've only seen once called me and told me they had a meeting and decided to deny it. The psychiatrist Richard Garcia did not bother to call me or meet with me before making this decision. This is after calling every week to know what is going on with my request. Now since I'm only able to work part time I will not have enough money to pay my bills and rent. I only wish they would have assessed appropriately and come up with a decision sooner so that I could get a much needed second opinion. I was placed on disability due to the trauma I went through with caring for my disabled brother. He went missing while under my care and jumped off my balcony (on the third floor) among other violent acts. I've managed to get a part time job and just needed an extension due to me still experiencing the effects of the trauma. I plan on working full time when I am able to. I don't understand why they would deny my request or do it in the manner they did. Very uncaring and unprofessional. I do not recommend this office for counseling or psychiatric services. read more

My name Angelina, and yes like most I suffer from mental health. I have been going to this council facility for about 18 months now it is definitely work wonders for me. When I 1st started I Started seeing therapist Jason, Jason was a miracle for me and pulled me out of where I needed to be and partially were im at today. When Jason left I had a had a meltdown i truly thought i would never find anyone like him to help me, he told me that he was leaving and that I was going to have to get a new therapist which he turned me on to Dr.A Which has truly been a godsend in my eyes from the 1st day I met her I did not think I was going to like her or her style of therapy but let me tell you when she says she is there for you a 100% she is definitely there for you I can honestly say I have broken down and I can call her personally and she will put things on the side just to make sure that I'm OK that truly is The best feeling in all the world knowing that someone in this world has your back and wants you in their best interests at heart my mental health means everything to me I know I have issues just like other people and I know that this office can help anyone I hands down put my faith into Dr A. and her counseling center... and to the staff aka Jen she is amazing And always greets you with a warm read more

This place is very unprofessional. First time I came my appointment time was 10am. I didn't end up getting seen till 1137. Had an appointment today at 530pm. Guess Richard was super behind & took a person that came after we did. I asked the receptionist if this was a regular thing & she admitted he gets behind on his appts often so waiting for a long period of time would be a normal thing. This isn't ok. I'm disabled as it is & sitting in those chairs are extremely uncomfortable & having people waiting over an hour just makes there anxiety worse. Plus I wasn't very impressed with his service. I would like to say that I have been attending group therapy here for a couple of months now and from the first time walking in I felt very welcomed and comfortable here the therapist is very kind, she helps us all to open up and learn how to interact with each other. I feel like part of a family here a happy loving family going through similar issues but helping one another, also the front desk receptionist is very kind and helpful as well.
