It's my first time here, I try to get to the location and due to some insurance mishaps my appt location and time had been changed a few times. I arrived to the Crossroads location and quickly found out I arrived to the wrong one. Rushed over and even CALLED the front desk to let them know I was arriving late as a courtesy. As I walk in the front girl screening the appt just started repeating over and over how I was late and the tone was just annoyed right off the bat. Even another lady trying to come in was given attitude so quick too, but watched her as she picked and chose who to be nice to when walking in and out. ON TOP OF HAVING A WHOLE CONVERSATION ON HER CELLPHONE IN THE LOBBY out loud in front of us. Luckily they took me. Accepted my insurance and payment, the girls behind the window were a little nicer at least. The back office staff , especially the girl that took me back was much more pleasant. The conversation was there and the overall vibe was better from her. Finally seen Dr Baez. Super pleasant. Still took me in for my rather short 5 min visit and I was very satisfied. Point being, you can tell when you enjoy your job and when you don't. People can too.

I came to the emergency room in a full pheochromocytoma attack. This is the kind of medical…read morefacility that will tell you, you're having anxiety and its something serious and loved ones end up passing due to this type of dereliction. I'm a 36 yo adult. I am fully aware of anxiety/ panic attacks and this wasn't it. I had severe chest pains, high blood pressure, severe headache, sweating and started vomiting so finally decided it was time to go once I started vomiting. Mind you I was about 6-7 weeks post op a total hysterectomy. I went with no bra because the chest pain was so intense and my abdomen was still so sore from surgery. The man who did my ekg asked if I'm comfortable just walking around with no bra ... I was pretty shocked it being the ER but told him yes I can care less because my situation. I barley could walk due to the dizziness and vision problems I was having aside from everything else. But no biggie I brushed it off. Then the man who did my IV tells me, can you walk?! As I was in a wheelchair. I was like no dude I'm so dizzy and sore from my surgery. Made me feel like such an inconvenience and very embarrassed. Long story short they chummed it up to be chest pain and anxiety. I never even mentioned it had anxiety so that was weird. I expressed how bad my heart and chest was feeling and the ER doctor basically said I needed to follow up with an endocrinologist and there was nothing they could do aside from the meds they gave me. I was in complete disbelief. Went home feeling horrible but followed up with my primary and now I am seeing an endocrinologist who is sending me to Loma Linda hospital. You really have to advocate for yourself. It's so sad how they make you feel and brush off your symptoms. Especially when you're at your absolute worst. Even on my forms you can tell they tread lightly labeling it chest pain but still slightly mentioned my pheochromocytoma. Also, would have been nice for them to mention I had kidney stones but the emergency room doesn't feel that is a serious issue so I am aware they wont mention the findings, but its listed as some of the most painful heath issues. The wait was fine. Expected from an ER. If I end up here again I truly pray they do better and hope people get the care and compassion they need. I left two stars because my visit was in March. Today I visited the main hospital to retrieve my scans on a disk to give to the endocrinologist for the tumor and the gentleman who was volunteering in a wheelchair was amazing helping me navigate the hospital. The woman in medical records was also so very sweet and kind.

They treat him with patience, professionalism, and kindness, which means the world to me. He's showing some signs of early-onset dementia, and as anyone who's been through that knows, it's not always easy -- he sometimes forgets appointments or prescriptions (like his brain scan from six months ago), but the staff never make him feel bad about it. They handle it with empathy and good humor. That's something you can't put a price on. The doctors are knowledgeable, thorough, and genuinely care about their patients. The front desk team keeps things running smoothly, and every visit feels like he's in good hands. In a world where medical care can feel cold or rushed, this office actually takes the time to listen. Doctors who take their time and genuinely care about outcomes. Chino Hills Family Medical Group is a place where quality care meets humanity. They've been great with my dad, and that kind of professionalism mixed with patience is something rare. Highly recommend -- especially if you're looking for a team that's not just competent, but compassionate.

Last year, I had made an appointment for a specific vaccine. I made an appointment 3 weeks ago for an important vaccine. Again, their system asked me to check-in, and today, 45 minutes before my appointment, they called me to tell me they were out of that vaccine, that they had used the last one. I've been.going there for years. I was satisfied, but now, it is obvious, there are having problems, and it's time for me to go somewhere else where they are more organized, better staffed, and where the main doctor is visible.

Which is so scary that they don't have information recorded from visits. Three phone calls later after getting proven wrong, she finally admitted that my child was seen just like I had been saying all along with no apology or remorse for her rude behavior. She refused to have our recorded phone calls reviewed by her manager even though I repeatedly requested it. This woman deserves Some type of disciplinary action disciplinary action needs to be taken she needs to be empathetic towards children with special needs. I've never felt so uncomfortable about a Doctors Office. I've never been treated with such disrespect as I was by the staff there. Danielle or whatever her name is shouldn't deal with the public! every month I have to play phone tag while I'm at work because nobody can ever directly answer a question or get on the phone with you. It's always will have them call you back I work Monday through Friday. The same hours at the office is open therefore they're calling me during work when I can't pick up the chances of them calling me during my half an hour lunch break are slim to none. I don't even have my phone at my desk. I'm not allowed to. I was told I need to come in every month. In person bring my twins in for his medication prescription that's 24 appointments a year??! and of course so they can collect a copay money hungry They said that they do not do refills nor can they do telemedicine visits over the phone for the adderall my twins have been taking for the past 5 years It has to be in person which is a huge inconvenience. I don't know any job in the world that allows you to take 24 days off a year so you could go to 2 doctors appointments every month I don't know anybody who has two special-needs children that could take 24 days off in a year to have 12 visits a year for each child. This woman had the audacity to say that she's never heard of people not being able to do 24 days off a year if it's for Doctors visits ?! She said legally any job has to be okay with you doing that?! Every time I go I have to be waiting even if I arrive early or on time but I can only imagine if I'm late I woulnt even be seen the staff automatically tries to speak to you in Spanish when I explained that I don't speak Spanish. I get eyes rolled at me because I'm white. Nothing ever gets resolved in a single phone call every month I have problems with this office and anytime something goes wrong. It's no one's fault and they say they're following protocol and I literally have to point out and repeat myself to five different people in hopes of getting something resolved only to have voicemails with no information being provided just to give a call back during their work hours, which are my work hours and you wait on hold before you could even speak to someone and that person just takes a message because no one's available to directly answer any of your questions that can actually help you. You just gotta hope that there's notes that they can read off to you and those notes are never gonna completely handle your problem. This Office needs to make things right if not for me for my special needs children.
