I was worried about the reviews and should have paid more attention. I was looking at a 2009 BMW M3 VIN WBSWD93579P361863. I spoke with Gavin the salesperson, and he told me about the car and said there were no major issues he knew of. I scheduled a PPI for the next day, and here is where the problems started. AFTER I paid for the PPI, Auto Barn jumped the price from $24,999 to $29,999. Here are some excerpts from the PPI on the car Gavin told me was in Good condition. "The vehicle has a check engine light on and the engine malfunction light on and the reduced engine power light on. The vehicle would not accelerate well or pick up speed. The vehicle is in limp mode. The engine runs rough and there is a small amount of abnormal smoke coming from the tailpipe. The check engine light is on. The increase emissions light is on, and the DSC light is on" "I noted the power steering fluid level is low, rack and pinion seals leaking, and the engine shows active oil leaks. The rear differential is leaking fluid." I have tried to call several times, but they will not answer their phones and texted several times now with no answers. read more

I recently purchased a vehicle from them, Jeremy was the person I delt with, the vehicle has been problem free, but all these negative reviews regarding their professionalism is spot on! After test driving the vehicle and agreeing too purchase, I told them I would come back in 2 days with a check, can you please, Clean the vehicle inside and out, it was filthy, tire pressure light was on, most likely low pressure in one of the tires, chip in the windshield that needed to be repaired, and also wanted to make sure the it came with 2 key fobs, jeremy said, no problem at all, it will all be taken care of and be ready for you too pick up in 2 days. I drove 2 hours back to pick up the vehicle 2 days later and guess what.... None of the items were done, they did wash the vehicle but still dirty on the inside, little kids fingerprints/smudges all over the windows, etc... Didnt fix chip in windshield, tire pressure light still on, no extra key fob. I still bought the vehicle, but be warned... these guys have ZERO PROFESSIONAl SKILLS! Its basically a dirty warehouse with a dirty office that houses cars that they sell. DEFINITELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!! read more

Stay away from this place. Their Google reviews are a lie they must be writing themselves to boost their rating. I bought a 2017 F250 a little over a month ago, but it's showing on their Google reviews page that some dude from Michigan drove all the way to Georgia to buy it 3 months ago, yet it's sitting in my driveway. Easy tell is the small crease in the front bumper on the passenger side. Aside from that, Travis said he would put new tires on the truck as a part of the deal. I ended up asking for a swap on the cheap tires he originally planned to order, even offering to cover the difference in cost on my end since they are more expensive tires. A couple of weekly check-ups asking about the tires and he stopped answering texts and I can't get a call into the dealership. Be warned also, they don't do any service at all to the vehicles they have. I put 200 miles on the truck before it popped up telling me to change the oil. $250 right off the lot to get the oil changed and replace the air filter that wasn't even on the truck. I knew better than going to a dealership that's not actually associated to Ford, but figured I'd give them a shot since the truck was priced right. Don't make the same mistake I did. The only good part about the whole thing was the paperwork was quick, but that's easy to do when you have good credit and the loan is already approved before you get there. read more

Run! This has been the worst experience I have ever had. They said they would fix the car so I brought it back. The first time I took it back, they kept it for 3 weeks. And the second and third time, I don't know what they did, besides leave grubby greasy fingers print on the interior. Any repairs they supposedly made still have to be fixed. The engine light came on the second day I had the car and it is still on today. I just took it to a reputable shop to get a price to fix everything! They informed me this is not the original engine, the transmission needs to be replaced and all three catalytic converters need to be replaced. For a total of $18,000. I believe they buy cars that are on the edge of being salvage and bubble gum them back together to sell them. The day I bought the car, they said they had ordered the door handle that is broken and would send it to me or I could bring it back for them to fix. Almost 4 months later and still no handle. Although the door handle is the very least problem for this car. I do not feel safe in this car. This is not a fake review. I notice that the owner commented on someone else's review saying it was fake. After this experience I do not know how they get 5 star reviews. Before you buy a car from here, I would check all review platforms, not just google. Now I need a car but I spent all my money on this piece of crap. On March 4th 2023 I called this dealership and told them they had a vehicle I wanted to come see. I was told over the phone they don't do appointments and to just walk-in. I arrived around noon and when I entered the dealership I was not greeted. There was a sales men talking with other customers. I think his name was Gavin, I asked if I should sit down, he replied yes to wait in lobby. I waited in the lobby almost 10minutes and know body came to greet me or follow-up with me waiting. I have never been to a dealership and the sales man seems uninterested in selling cars as Gavin. I told him I've been waiting a while with no explanation and he replies "I'm free to leave", so I left. Gavin did not apologize for my inconvenience nor ask me to please wait longer. He never even asked what vehicle I was there to see. I asked for a manager and he advised me they only work Tuesday thru Friday and no management on weekends. Gavin told me "we aren't that type of dealership" referring to me not being assist in a timely manner, he says it's only 2 people working, so why not allow appointments which they didn't offer me. I told Gavin I'd leave a yelp review of my experience and he told me to go ahead and leave it. I hope the owner is aware he has sales men giving bad customer service and insisting they leave when management is away, horrible sales skills clearly, and the owner pays him to loose business, makes no sense. This was my first time visiting this dealership, I saw their car for sale online and went to go see it. There are a ton of Luxury car dealers in Atlanta that would love to make a big sale today. A disaster. We bought a used pickup truck for our son from Auto Barn. The day after we got it home the transmission failed, leaving my panicked teenager stranded on the road. No one at Auto Barn was man enough to return my husband's phone calls. We had to pay $7k out of pocket for a new transmission. Finally the manager called and gave us a worthless 2-year warranty that does nothing for the $7k that we are out of pocket. To top it off, the temporary plate expires tomorrow. I called the DMV to find out status and they said the dealer never submitted an emissions test. So now we have to go do that. I'm not optimistic that this truck will even pass emissions. I didn't Know until i got 60 miles back to my home that it is ILLEGAL to SELL a car that has not passed inspection. BUT THEY KNEW. The guy that normally does my inspections told me. So I started looking at things with a fine tooth comb; turned out the sales receipt said the car had 295,000 miles - but the odometer is at 308,296 that's a difference of 13, 296 !!! Politely requested pre-purchase inspection at dealership at my cost - company refused. No hard selling. Not a used car salesman feel at all. Chris was the salesperson who helped me through the process and he made it simple and took care of me. He address all aspects of the sale process and any concerns I had. I brought in a trade and he gave me top dollar for it. No haggle at all. I went to auto trader and printed off a price for my trade in and they excepted it. Looking at vehicles, test driving the vehicle, him test driving my trade in. Took about 3 hours and drove off the lot with my new truck. Travis was the finance guy, was very honest from step one, simple no hassle and easy. Took care of the whole situation. Reed was the mechanic shop manager, went over all concerns with the vehicle and he addresses all issues. Fixed anything I wanted fixed or change while there. All in all great people and great place. I read all the bad reviews, but didn't listen--Unfortunately, they're all true. Salesman tried to raise our agreed upon sale price at time of purchase--luckily I still had my texts so he had to honor it. Finance guy tried to under-price my trade in by nearly $2,000 until I said the deal was off--then he was conveniently able to reevaluated my vehicles options. The girl in the office took 3 tries to send the correct documentation so I could get my permanent plate from the DMV--My temporary plate was expired for over 45 days by the time she got everything right. I drove nearly 500 miles to get this car--So far, no problems with it, except it needed breaks not even two weeks after getting it. It took about 30 emails and phone calls, and over 2 months start-to-finish before the transaction was fully closed. During the sale, the salesman was bragging about how everyone at the dealership is under 25... Maybe they need some adult supervision in that place. Not impressed. Would not recommend. I really wish I could give this Stealership zero stars! I felt robbed after driving away from the dealership even though they befriended me the entire time. I had nothing but problems with them after I drove off with the truck that I bought. The second day I had it, the engine light came on and had to return it to them so they could fix it along with other issues. When I try to get updates for the issues on the truck no one answered. It took them over 1 month to send the tags and registration to my Tag Office and when it gets there the Tag Office people call me saying there was a balance left over of $180. They state in their website that the vehicle is given a oil change and a car wash. They washed it up real good but when I checked the oil it was super dark and not fresh at all! I've never left a bad review anywhere but I'm going to post details about my experience so others are aware. I purchased a 2009 Escalade with 60k miles. In "great" condition. All the questions I had left me with no concerns. 30 miles into owning the vehicle the electronics go nuts. Now Reed personally, I'd give him 4 stars, he walked me through on Facetime changing my alternator in an Autozone parking lot, and did pay for the parts, while my son, pregnant wife, and dogs waited in the car as we were on the way to see family. The vehicles from what we are told are inspected prior to sale. Looking back the lights were pulsating which should have triggered someone at the shop to investigate this rather than sell a vehicle with an obvious failing part. In addition during this chaos of events my rear entertainment screen does not work anymore. Again, Travis gave me run around solutions, and has chosen to not do the right thing. 30 miles into owning a vehicle, purchased partly of this feature, and now I have to purchase and fix myself due to lack of care, response, etc. Reed did try to help me trouble shoot this as well but all have failed and my screen still doesn't work. Lastly, which is more or less salt in the wood. I was promised a sticker kit to replace the worn numbers.... never came. The vehicle arrive with no key fobs at all, promised they were on the way twice..... also never arrived (the remote start option is kind of pointless without key fobs), so I bought and programmed my own. The vehicle is also going in the shop 60 days after owning it due to a bad alignment which is causing excess wear on my front tires. Folding mirrors don't work either, they are off track. Lesson learned. I purchased what I thought was a nice vehicle at a fair price from someone that I originally felt was trust worthy and honest... well played. sold me a truck (2016 f250 with 68k miles) under the premises that it was a good running truck with no issues. that in fact was a lie, as there was a major electrical issue with the truck that my personal mechanic said you could be chasing the problem for months and still never get it figured out. i will say they did give me my down payment back with no questions, but admitted to knowing about the issue. about 2 weeks later i got a message on facebook from someone else who bought the same truck (i accidentally left my temporary registration in the glove box so new purchaser had my info) asking if i had the issues with it, and they said autobarn swore they had no clue about the problem. bottom line these guys are dishonest and i would avoid them read more

It broke down within the first month and I have taken it back to Newnan from Griffin on 5 occassions and he never fixed the original issue and in return each time I return it broke other items (Fuel Line) and still has the same warning light messages after 5 trips. Well, it's partly my own fault for attempting to buy a car unseen from clear across the country. I chose a Mercedes SL 500 convertible that looked great in the ads. The sales person was on top of everything, I thought, and told me this dealership was the very best for buying the way I was doing it because they offered a guarantee for used cars, which turned out to be $1500 worth of insurance in case something were to go wrong. Plus they had pickup from the airport! So when I got there my own salesman was "unavailable" to greet me and I got a rookie. There were some "issues" getting the car running, and I noticed a mottled appearance on the paint, but some rubbing compound ought to take care of that, I thought, and off we drove from Newnan to Macon to see some friends before driving 6788 miles back to Seattle. First thing that happened the key wouldn't work. Then the front headlight went out. Then the front shocks had to be replaced, all this within 1000 miles. By the time we got home to Seattle we had visited five dealerships and spent an additional $15,000 repairing the car, which is what it cost on the first place. That "mottled"paint was the clear coat separating. It had to be repainted, a minor issue compared to the severe mechanical problems Well, like I said, it was partly my own fault, but I thought I could AT LEAST get the $1500 insurance just from the dead headlight alone, which happened on the second day I had it. I documented the issue in full with dates, places, and mileage when all this happened and sent the package off to them, to abject silence. Yes, I have a case, but no, it's not cost-effective to pursue it. Yes, I got rooked and it took me a year to recover. I still have the car because I can't afford to get rid of it. But use these guys at your peril. They were VERY misleading. I hope they get what they deserve eventually. read more

Bought a BMW 550i from here in Feb. of 2016. Had a great salesman by the name of Bobby heard everything that I was looking for and made it happen. There was a real douche GM by the name of Josh, he's no longer there thank god. Car had needed some additional fixing and they have made all the corrections and fixes. There's a woman in the back office by the name of Stephanie, she was heaven sent to work with considering my previous car was from out of state and a few mishaps with getting the title here to GA. Then there's McKae, the service manager, young guy that was awesome to work with that went above and beyond. They are good people working there and I'd definitely recommend and repeat a buy from there. read more

Worst dealer experience so far. They car isn't bad, however we told them to send the plates to our house in GA and some how they send it to our other address in VA. I called them to see what's going on since I got that dealer plate they give you when you purchase a car and is been expired for about 2 months now. They told me they have my VA plates. I ask them if they could change them but they said they couldn't do anything about it so next year I'll be paying taxes for the car when I have to register it here. I hope you get a good experience if you buying a car from here at least better than mine. I also still waiting for the new tire they said they will send me because one of them was about 3/32 (bald). Traveled 6 hours to look at a BMW listed as great looking inside & out, with rear entertainment. Spoke to them on the phone beforehand, to ask if there was wiggle room on the price and if the vehicle was as great as described. I was told yes to both questions. When I arrived the tv was cracked and inoperable, brown leather was splitting open on side of driver seat, as well as not being attached to the seat structure and revealing the foam rubber, areas of wood grain were cracked, white marks on the shifter from being chipped, and a few other cosmetic details that were also not disclosed beforehand. Young boy named Travis looked at his phone the whole time googling how much these things would cost to replace, and then refused to lower price not even by one cent, despite the fact that before we drove 6hrs they said their was wiggle room on the price, and despite the fact that we now knew all the issues I listed above. I hope my review will prevent another family from wasting more than 12 hours of their life on this place. Nothing is as it seems, not the online adds, not the vehicle photos, not the voice on the phone, and definitely not the vehicles they wipe down with greasy orange glow wood cleaner. Thankfully, on our trip home, I was able to purchase the same vehicle with less miles, same interior colors and options I wanted (but not damaged or broken), a perfect Carfax, from a dealer who was honest, friendly, and appreciated my business. I just left auto barn with my parents who were interested in test driving the Mercedes G63 AMG. They spoke to Chris on the phone and he seemed very happy to have them come by. Seth came out as the sales rep and we told him that we came to see the car and test drive it. Seth was kind and asked for drivers licence and insurance then explained he would need to clean up the back before we could drive it out, but he would unlock it so we can see inside. He left for the back ( making copies of the documents and retrieving the key), but to our surprise, TRAVIS came out, introduced himself as the sales manager then boldly told my mom "you're not allowed to test drive this100,000 dollar car without a credit check". Being that it's the first time we've heard of this my parents were shocked and responded as such. Travis, on the other hand kept saying sarcastic statements like, " sure let me just let you drive my labergini shit". He asked us would you let someone drive your 100,000 dollar car without a credit check? my dad responded yes, as long as he's covered by insurance. Travis didn't know if my mom would of fell in love with it ( although she really wants a 2017 model), my dad would of purchased it on the spot. Bottom line is Travis was rude and unprofessional. He came out defensive and was not planning to show us the car. He didn't even come out with the key to show my mom the interior. I urge the owner that if he ever wants to sell a car to limit Travis' interaction with customers. He lost Seth a sale! BUYER BEWARE!!! The very worst car buying experience of my life. They deserve no stars. Thought I had found the perfect car (2009 BMW 750i), but it was delivered to me with problems that were never disclosed to me even though I asked, and was told everything was in good working order. The first thing was a message stating "Battery discharging while stopped; electrical devices were temporarily switch off", you have the option to push the okay button to continue but the I-drive wasn't working. Thought it was because the electrical devices were temporarily switched off as stated in the message. I immediately texted Travis Payne and told him that I had a message about the battery. He told me that I needed to replace it. But said he would have it replaced. After a few days without any answers to my text I finally got in contact with him by not calling his direct line and was informed that they were not going to replace the battery because they had shipped the car to me free of charge. So I had the battery replaced myself for $130.00. After battery replacement, the I-drive still did not work. Therefore, I couldn't do anything with the majority of the vehicle's functions. Radio control, navigation, Bluetooth/handsfree, vehicle information, and settings were all inaccessible.... couldn't even set the time. I immediately texted Travis Payne and let him know that the controller wasn't working. No response for days. Then they finally sent me some paperwork they needed signing. Didn't sign it and finally got a call from Travis about the paperwork. I informed him that I was very upset with the condition of my car and he promised to help me resolve it but he needed the paperwork. Sent the paperwork then silence again. Would not answer my calls, would not answer my text. Never got warranty information so I texted him to please send me the warranty info since I was obviously being ignored. Called the Autobarn number and asked to speak with someone in charge since Travis obviously wasn't going to do anything and finally talked to Jason. He "appeared" to be very helpful but he actually wasn't. The things he told me to do to fix the I-drive problem did not work. Now he won't answer or return my calls either. Long story short...Took the car to my local BMW dealership with warranty in tow hoping to finally get it fixed and over with and they found two more problems, oil leaks and starter. The warranty only covered the starter. The oil leak will be $1900 and the I-drive will be $1100. I have only had the car for a month and I already have to put $3000 into it. These people were very shady and lied constantly to me. Had to beg them to send my paperwork and title information so that I could even drive the car. I didn't know that there were still dealerships out there that would purposely get over on you. As a female buyer, I am really quite offended and upset, but want to warn any and everybody to stay away from this place. They shouldn't be in business and I wish I could sue them for all of their dishonesty. read more
