Yep happened to me. See correspondence with dealer and we also talked on the prone regarding this car. I drove 2 hr to get there for dealership manager to try to convince me that I was looking at these papers and website incorrectly and this particular car cannot be sold for the price he previously gave me but $2000 more! please fire mike from this establishment! he is not a good representative of bmvw or any partner companies. he is beyond unprofessional! this is not my first time contacting this company regarding a car i purchased- cash. no note, no hassle. this is how i live my life not owing anyone. i come there to get my car, that i had been calling for weeks about. no initiative to contact me as the seller to keep me updated, nothing. i come inside wait for an hour plus to get paperwork done. he rushes to get my money and gave no details or history of car that i was purchasing. an all electric car that i told him i wanted and never had before. only saying its a great car. a good and experienced salesman is going to be informative to the customer, making sure they feel good after hopping into a freshly paid for car. i felt like i was robbed. not because of the car i bought, because i clearly know what i got myself into, but the dealership! a person that comes in and says i want to buy the car outright and come back in 6 months- 1 year and buy another car outright you would think the salesman would want to treat me with some respect. i worked with mike from beginning to end and again, he had been nothing but rude, short, and disrespectful to me. i would call asking a question, he would get man and say it is not his problem- i already bought the car. also told me verbatim- you didn't know what you were buying maybe you shouldn't have gotten it. hung up the phone on me, etc. i called today 8-19-2025, after getting back into town and registering my tags. the tag office charged me for the ad vel tax after the dealership already charged me during the sale. i told mike that the description on the receipt from the tag office said: ad vel tax againnnnnnnnnnnn. he continued to cut me off and tell me "no thats not what they charged you for" i said "the description of the charge from the tag office receipt i just paid says it right here in front of my face"- how are you going to tell me what they charged me. im looking at it. and paid it. came out of my pocket, i think i would know. and proceeded to tell me he cant help me. it isn't the fact that he told me to basically f off each time it was the fact that he has the nerve to treat people like this and have a company back his actions towards customers. i will be waiting for bmvw to respond before i post this to my social media page. read more

Let me first say that I love my new Lexus!!!! It floats on the highway. It was very clean inside and out and had less that 75k miles on it ! The buying process was very smooth and easy! I paid cash so I don't know if financing was available but I'm sure that's an option for others! Mike was the salesman and he was very knowledgeable and very professional! They made sure it was gas in the car before i drove it off the lot. They didn't charge me all those extra fees that the other dealers do. Which from purchasing my last car i know can be an extra $800-$2000 depending on what your car cost. Everything was included in the price (purchase amount, tag, title etc and they DO NOT charge any EXTRA FEES!!!)I thought it had a leak on it (but it was the ac!) and Mike along with the owner told me to bring it back by, I did and they had it checked and didn't charge me for that either. But everything was good! The owner is also a very pleasant and awesome guy! I was forwarded to them by my spiritual father and he has been buying cars from them for years and I understand why! Very good used car buying experience. Drove four hours in for a specific vehicle model I had been hunting for awhile, asked to see the car, and they just handed me the keys after signing in and giving a copy of my license to inspect it over and test drive at my leisure without anyone hovering over or watching me like happens at most dealerships. Cars were all in decent shape, they were kept with proper oil and fluids on the lot (minus wiper fluid). Very clean interiors. Make sure you know what you're looking at though, as these cars are sold "as-is", and like all used cars, some may have maintenance issues you'll want to know about before you buy. Goes for anywhere. Staff was very kind and courteous, I dealt primarily with the gentleman that "Angie I." referenced in her review, and couldn't have been happier with how he treated me. So they're dead wrong to have left a review like that. Prices are reasonable and fair; don't expect to come in here and haggle the prices down, they're very firm about the prices they set, as the vehicles are "as-is" on the lot. Dealer has no problems accepting cash as payment, in fact, they only accept cash for deals under $5,000. Do not go here unless you know what you want! They do not try to sell you anything. They don't explain anything about the cars. They let you test drive and decide for yourself. If you already know what you want and have done your own research, this is the place to go! No pressure, friendly, and super easy going. Quickest car buying experience I have ever had! The reason for four stars rather than five is that while preparing to leave with our new car (and three year old), the crew that gets the cars ready for sale were completely obnoxious-swearing, yelling, play fighting, -and someone aggressively drove up and came close to hitting me on their way out). Not cool. Apparently it was quitting time and they were blowing off some steam. Understandable, but their is a time and place for everything. The manager's are knowledgeable and helped me with a purchase on a 2016 BMW I3, with only 4k miles! I have never bought a car from a dealer before this time, in almost 40 years of driving...I had always purchased from individuals because 1) I worked at a dealership for several years in my early career and know the markups and 2) I was always able to find better deals through actual owners of cars. Well I was looking for a Toyota Prius to drive the wheels off of as I am now in real estate and am constantly in my car...wanted something that gets great mileage, fairly late model with around 100k miles on it so I could get a good price (I currently had an older model Prius I had purchased with 100k and it's still going with 240k and only 1 repair in 5 years. I saw a white 2012 with 108k on BMVW's site....I had never heard of them, but looked at the reviews and figured they were good enough for me to drive the 40 miles and check it out. Spoke with Mike on the phone...told me to come down and drive it. I did...the car was what I was looking for...not perfect but in good shape, and priced right at just above 7k. Mike was very nice, was honest with me, let me drive the car, told me I could take to a mechanic if I would like, and he was very laid back...zero pressure. I purchased the car, did the paperwork in about 20 minutes (cash deal) and arranged for them to clean the car up and I would pick up a few days later. I've put around 1000 miles on it so far and still does what I need it to...gets me there and back. I read several reviews on here that said there was a problem getting tags. I received a call from the dealership about 7 days after purchase and let me know my tag was in and they wanted to know if I would pick it up or did I want them to mail it. I said "mail" and I had the tag within 4 days of the phone call. Just thought I would throw that out there for those wondering. If they did have a problem with tags, it seems to be cleared up at this point. Thanks again Mike for the laid back process, your honesty, and how quickly you guys processed paperwork. On the positive side, there is no high pressure selling, in fact no selling at all. You get your questions answered by Mike, and he does not try to pressure you at all. A welcome relief compared to most other car sales places. I got a 2015 Nissan Leaf and had it shipped to me. I was surprised at the amount of scratches and deep cuts into the bumper. One of the 2 key remotes is not functional, BMVW will not help with the cost of reprogramming or replacement. Apparently they dont test them (or if they do they dont tell you one is not working). Be sure to ask for better photos of the defects in the body. The photos on the website show nothing. read more

Potential BMVW buyers, beware !! Mike Thomson, the salesperson lied, acted unprofessional, unethical, abrasive, impatient, dishonest, misleading, rude, impatient, and super pushy. He refused to provide the information one would reasonably expect prior to committing to vehicle purchase in the range of $ 40,000. Sent a signed bill of sale that contained false information, including odometer reading, incorrect deposit paid and other. Mike tried to sell a car that had not even been inspected (and did not give proper time to get the car professionally inspected before my deposit would expire, given the fact I am out of state) and without any dealer warranty. On top of that given the information he had, he knew the manufacturer warranty could not be honored for that car where we live. He said he only make $1000 on vehicles he sells. BMVW took a $500 deposit which Mike told me on the phone he would be glad refund to put the car back on the market. When I called back later the same day, he had changed his mind and refused to honor his word. He called me an idiot for not knowing that the manufacturer warranty could not be honored. Besides the insults, I feel that I was robbed $500. Is that why they advertise with what appear deceivingly like low prices, and is that how they make up for supposedly low margin? read more
