I wrote to the carwash today seeking recourse but was told that they didn't do the damage. I was told it was impossible because their brushes are made with the same material as yoga mats and the do not hold onto any dirt as they also spin so fast it just wouldn't be possible. These nicks in my paint were not present before the wash but they suggested it happened driving up and down US 19. BS, I know my car and I look for any damage daily while having my coffee. Big Dan's was privately contacted by me this afternoon and they called me within 2 minutes just to immediately deny any culpability. Very bad business, I told them I would be writing a bad review since I did give them a chance to fix the damage in private communications with them. Before going through the automatic part of the car wash, employees scrub the front of the car & windshield. Then, with the car in neutral, the car moves on a track through the automatic part in a little more than 2 minutes. It's fast and efficient. Afterwards, towels are provided to dry the car. Vacuum hoses are readily available for sucking up the dirt in the car's interior. Spray bottles with window cleaner are also available.

The attendant was very apologetic and understanding. Unfortunately "Corporate" feels that due to the vehicle having an "aftermarket" front splitter... (bought the vehicle from the dealership with the ZO6 appearance package) they feel they are not liable. I've taken this vehicle through this wash 40+ times with zero issues. They began to charge me for the wrong car washes and it took sometime, to get that fixed. So, I started to search other local car washes. I found Blue Lagoon in Palm Harbor. The car wash was spectacular. I got the one with the "hot wax". There was a guy named Jamie who was very helpful, mannerly and even helped me dry my car. I was definitely impressed. Great customer service!!! A+++ for Jamie!! I definitely will come back to Blue Lagoon!!
