I was a monthly member at another local car wash for 3 cars for a long time. Things began to go South. Vacs didn't work. The drying cloths were constantly wet. Customer service was poor. They began to charge me for the wrong car washes and it took sometime, to get that fixed. So, I started to search other local car washes. I found Blue Lagoon in Palm Harbor. The car wash was spectacular. I got the one with the "hot wax". There was a guy named Jamie who was very helpful, mannerly and even helped me dry my car. I was definitely impressed. I was visiting from Atlanta and my car was covered with love bugs from the drive down. They did a great job both on the outside and interior of the car. From the minute I pulled up, this bald asshole with a bad accent harassed me, demanded I open up my truck doors so he could inspect my interior, and had the audacity to say a wash and vacuum would be $40 ($15.99 to 18.99 is what the chart states a wash and vacuum goes for) bc my ( brand new) truck had sand on the seat. He then slammed my door when I said No. horrible customer service and that asshole needs to learn not to be a pig prick to woman customers. read more

Just left there about a half-hour ago went in for a car wash and detail. While we were waiting we heard a loud banging scraping sound other customers waiting including one gentleman seated next to us turned around and said "that doesn't sound good ." when the car was taken out of the wash and pulled into the spot they began to wipe down the car. Afterward, they told us it was ready when my fiance went to close the door to get into the car the door wouldn't shut properly. We got the manager and explained to him what the problem was he wouldn't claim any responsibility even though we told him we heard a loud bang and we also went over to the other customer waiting and asked him to confirm what we heard and he admitted he had that didn't matter to the manager long story short he referred us to car cosmetics down the road and only said he would pay for the damage if it was 20-30 dollars, not 300 or something .we left and went to the car cosmetics place down the road we explained the situation they helped fix the door and also another problem on the passenger side that we hadn't seen before a piece of metal was sticking out at the bottom of the door!!!!! Needless to say, they didn't charge us anything and were super helpful!!!!! I will never use this carwash again I highly suggest you dont either!!!!!! I tell 5he cashier (owners dayghter) I want the 14.99, and it becomes a negotiation on how so much better it is, and how hard it is to re-ring the transaction. This is an excellent place to get a car wash. They do a much more thorough cleaning of the interior and do not leave excess cleaning product smeared all over like Pelican. They are also much quicker, and there is not as long of a wait. If you normally go to Pelican, do yourself a favor and give these guys a try instead. I must add that the interior clean is more of a "dry" look. I'm sure if you are looking for the glossy "wet" look they can make that happen. read more

I've been going here bi-weekly for about a year. Today the angry lady who was working tells me I need to pay an up-charge for "dog hair" in my truck. I have weather tech floor mats, so the floor is 90% hard plastic. Super easy to vacuum. Not to mention the fact that the truck is brand new and basically spotless.
