I just want to thank Doug, John, Alex and the crew at Auto Care Experts for taking good care of the cars for our family. Not only are they dependable to work on standard needs, oil changes, brakes, transmissions, air conditioning, etc. but Doug is a wizard at finding creative ways to repair accessories and at the same time help keep costs down. Just last week had the radio volume control switch in the steering wheel break. Couldn't find a new one, even in the after market. Doug figured out a way, said he couldn't guarantee it, but took a shot and it seems to be fine. (Didn't even charge me for it.) A few years ago I had a slow drip around the oil pan plug from a "fast oil change place" over tightening the plug. Instead of a $400+ new oil pan, Doug suggested putting silicon around the plug at oil changes. Hasn't dripped since. Have had some interesting experiences with dealerships and others who really don't diagnose the problem to start with and then you pay for all the new parts and labor as they try to find it by process of elimination. Hasn't happened at Auto Care Experts. Picking a mechanic is similar to picking a pharmacist or doctor. In the end you have to trust them and believe they are taking care of you. For many years i always heard people say 'my mechanic' and that was something that i so desired and only wished that like them i too had a mechanic that i felt like i could put my trust in 100%. Then it happened to me nearly 10 yrs ago when i found Auto Care Experts and i was finally in good hands. Having dealt with ACE on a previous vehicle and having such outstanding honest customer service ; I brought a car I was looking at buying into the shop for a prebuy inspection. And again I was beyond happy with the time and attention to detail that the service crew extended to this vehicle. They were honest and very helpful in the inspection and walked me through what needed to be done. I left the car in their capable hands and was not disappointed in the quality of their work and dedicated service. The owner of this family business went over and beyond in assisting me to the point of helping me to sell my other vehicle! That was truly amazing and what a blessing . I was buying a car and even though I was from out of town, Auto Care Experts did a free pre-purchase inspection. Wouldn't even take a tip for finding two problems - one of which was a belt that was a safety hazard and needed to be replaced. The dealer was too booked to replace the belt and gave me a discount on the price instead. Auto Care Experts fit me into what was clearly a busy schedule since I was a bit worried about taking the car on the road to get home. They fit me in and had the car fixed within an hour. The men at A.C.E. have worked on my car three times. They always call me to inform me of what needs attention and the estimate. They have never gone over the estimate and usually have my the work complete early. They are experts and do excellent work. They have a pickup and drop off service that has saved me a lot of time. The staff is always helpful and friendly. The front office is clean and inviting. The mechanics are knowledgeable and willing to listen to your concerns regarding your vehicle. I found the owner and staff of Auto Care Experts to be a very capable and first class automotive & RV repair facility. Their shop is a purpose built building with ample parking and temporary parking for RV's. The service writers are very knowledgeable and try to get the problem identified as soon as possible. These guys installed a crate motor on my Ford Van (I ordered and got the motor in myself). They got it done relatively quickly, replaced all the little things that needed replacing at the same time.
