People are always commenting that they would have been crushed by what I have been through. And, yes, I went through it (still am going through it), but instead of counting my victories, I counted my challenges. It was ONE BATTLE AFTER ANOTHER. That was more crushing than the totality of all of my problems. But after half a decade of getting crushed... you weaken a little. Brett quickly assessed me, my situations and my talents. He was like: "Dude! You got it all wrong! Your Crushing each and every battle... They are massive. They are relentless! You win every time!" He made me see that these were all external forces.
