When I got back from my exxxtended road trip, I stopped by my local oil change place, only to find that it had gone out of business! Uh oh, there goes my mints (they use to leave a couple mints in cup the holder). So the search was on to find a new place. I came across AutoExpress, which was actually just across the street from the old place. I drove in and Tim hooked me up. I saw a sign in the window that mentioned that if you give a review on YELP you'll get $5 off the oil change. Are you kidding? 5 bucks? Done and done. While I was waiting, I started writing this review, and would have finished it, had it not been for the talkative lady next to me. She wanted to know my life history! Sorry ma'am, I already gave that to the guy who was waiting with me for the slow elevator at the Shilo Inn in Mammoth. It was only a couple minutes later that her car was ready, and off she went, back to her 7 year old grandson. You see, she and her husband have to watch him cause her son, who works from 11am to 9pm, has these crazy hours. Which is alright, cause they're going to L.A. for her birthday, and while there, she'll have her uncle change the sparkplugs in her car, and maybe fix the front bumper that got stuck on one of those parking curb things. She's not going to have him look at her transmission, cause that thing is just a mess. Do you see what I have to put up with? It happens to me all the time. I guess I don't look threatening, and maybe have a sympathetic ear? Anyway, my car was done a few minutes after the talking lady's. I was only in the place for maybe 15 minutes. Very professional operation. So now I'm in the parking lot of the place where I get my car washed finishing this review. Why the parking lot? Because the place where I get my car washed is closed for construction! Come on! I was only gone for 2 months! Service date: 10/21/2022 Check in time: 10:50am Check out time: 11:56am Oil change cost: $76, or $71 after $5 off (tax included) I was quoted $66 for synthetic oil when I called yesterday but they told me today that my 2013 Corolla needed a more expensive filter. Thus $10 more. :( It only took me one hour to get my car back, including check in time. Very fast. They didn't try to upsell me anything. TK THAI restaurant is in the same plaza, with lunch specials. You can get some good Thai food while waiting for the oil change. It's very convenient. Side note: I also got a quote from the Riverside Toyota dealership, their cost for oil change + filter is $60 PLUS TAX (so probably $66-$70 total?). I have never been to the Riverside dealership and not sure if the $5 price difference is worth the service quality and wait. Overall, even though my filter costs more than I was quoted, I'm quite happy with their service. I do recommend this place and would be back again for my next oil change. read more

It has been two years since I have stepped foot back into Auto Express and only reason is that (all the time later) I saw Michael had commented on my review.. Today (Saturday 8/29) about 10:50am I brought my two vehicles in for oil changes (currently here now, 50 mins). So Far so good, both my vehicles almost done. They did inform me just a few mins ago they don't have Coolant for my two vehicles but that's only thing, we can try and take care of it. I usually dislike waiting while my car is being serviced somewhere, but my car was taken in right away and the wait wasn't too long.

I have 2 cars I took to you. the first was a Kia Forte. Before I went to your location I called around multiple different locations and I was first quoted $20. I went and got my oil change done same day. The next time I brought that kia Tim helped me and said it was $25.99. He even made a comment saying, "wow, no one ever really remembers the price" saying it was an updated price. I gladly paid. However next 2 time I went Abel helped me and quoted me $20, with no request. I have never requested for Abel to change the price because he never quoted me $25.99. What upsets me is not the $5.99 it's the fact that the price always changed when Tim was there. Tim made me feel dumb and I felt hustled for that $5.99 ever time he helped me. read more

Auto "Express" might be a misnomer. I walked inside hoping to get an oil change, waited at the window and no one showed up. I asked a customer if I should drive around back for an oil change and he said that's what he did. Same result for about 7 or 8 minutes and then a worker appeared, looked right at me, and kept on walking. Needless to say I gave up. It appears there is only 1 worker and Express is clearly an inaccurate description of their service. I found out Walmart does a conventional oil change withQuaker State oil for $19.88 which turned out to be a good choice! read more
