They were able to securely store my vehicle, match me with a driver in less than 48 hours of drop-off, and my car actually arrived 24 hours ahead of schedule, in under a week. Craig, the owner, was exceptional throughout the entire process. He was transparent, responsive, and took the time to walk me through every step, including how I would receive shipment updates. His communication and professionalism immediately put my mind at ease. When my vehicle arrived, it was in the exact same condition as when I entrusted it to their care. My new review is in response to the "lies" Chris claims I made about their company. lol, laughable. I never did not show up for any appointments. I scheduled to drop my car off on a Friday "any time after dinner" and was told they were open until 9pm. I was told this actually works better for them. Then I get a dispatch call midafternoon they're at my house and need to pick the car up. A "miscommunication on their end". I wasn't out shopping. I was out running last minute errands for a cross country move. They said they would go to other pickups and come back, I came back early to get them my car. They did NOT wait 2 hours for me- I watched the guy pull up the second time. They actually said he would be there in about 2 hours, it was 4. I didn't need to rush home. Also, they did not pay for my Uber to dinner (but they did pay for my Uber to Walmart upon me picking up my car though after delivering it to the wrong location aka asked for my address and location but forgot to pass it on to the delivery guy and picked a random Walmart in a big city that was 35 minutes from me, so yes that Uber they paid for). Also, I am not a "young person" like your daughter. Let's stop assuming people's ages and even then basing how we feel about them off that. Plain and simple, the communication was poor, nobody on your team talks to each other which is why things are falling through the cracks, and I let you guys know that as a way to improve. Both delivery drivers were great, but telling someone to drop off their car at the downtown office after dinner and then showing up at noon "because of a miscommunication" and then going to the wrong delivery address "because we forgot to pass along the updated information" doesn't work for a business. Own it and move on! *** He responded again and is now saying my friends planned a surprise dinner for me (not true, I was going to dinner with one friend) and I blew them off. I am attaching photos of the emails and text communication with them. It shows the email they sent me when the driver thought my car was already at the office so I had to reroute and make myself available for them, which they thanked me for.... not I blew them off for a surprise dinner lol. Shipped two vehicles from San Diego to Illinois and paid $4,400. The pickup experience was fine, with Autoexpress accommodating adding an additional vehicle to the shipment a few days out. I will also highlight that they stuck to their promised pickup date, which was crucial to me as I had a flight the following morning. The driver did stall my (manual) vehicle several times but that is not unexpected given the difficulty of loading onto the truck. However, the vehicles were dropped off unattended in a parking lot with the keys in the unlocked vehicles with no communication from Auto express. Fortunately I was monitoring the digital BoL and saw the drop-off photos of the vehicles in a parking lot with GPS coordinates. I was able to recover the vehicles before any issues arose. Craig explained that this was not "normal procedure", but frankly I was underwhelmed with their deflection and lack of taking responsibility for the actions of their driver. This experience has made me hesitant to ship vehicles again in the future. With improved drop off communication, this could have been a 4 or 5 star experience. However the shock of discovering my family's vehicles unattended, unlocked in a school parking lot with no communication from Autoexpress ended this experience on a negative note. read more

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! ZERO INTEGRITY AND CAR DAMAGED/NEARLY LOST IN THE PROCESS! I hardly ever post reviews but I have to for Auto Express in order to warn potential customers to look elsewhere at any cost. I was moving across the country and needed a reliable auto shipping company to transport my car, which Auto Express appeared to be. I can say with confidence now that many of these positive reviews are either paid for or from the employees themselves (i.e. their corrupt CEO Craig). Conveniently, Craig's positive review of his own company is one of the first to appear. DO NOT TRUST THEIR POSITIVE REVIEWS. Auto Express was excellent to work with when it came to taking my money. They require payment upfront which is NOT NORMAL for auto shipping companies. This was the first of many red flags. Once they received the money they were impossible to get a hold of. They also failed to pick up my vehicle as agreed upon, and instead had me drop it off at a lot far away from the original location. AUTO EXPRESS BROKE EVERY AGREEMENT THAT WAS MADE. Another thing they advertise is tracking your vehicle while it is being shipped, however they NEVER told us where the vehicles were. Luckily I had an AirTag in my car otherwise Auto Express would have lost my car. Auto Express also failed to deliver the car to the required address, completely due to the fault of the incompetent employees who work there. Our cars arrived in the town they were supposed to, but because Auto Express REFUSED to communicate with the trucking company payment was not delivered. Our vehicles were then taken to an undisclosed lot which Auto Express would again REFUSE to tell us where they were. WE WERE MISSING OUR CARS FOR 5 DAYS WITH NO UPDATES AND ZERO COMMUNICATION FROM AUTO EXPRESS. The only reason we were able to find our vehicles at all was because of the AirTag. We tracked the vehicles to a lot 50 MILES from the agreed upon delivery point. There we were able to get in contact with the trucking company who was just as in the dark as we were with Auto Express. They had not heard anything from Auto Express and had no idea what to do with our cars. Thankfully the good men and women at the trucking company (NOT AFFILIATED WITH AUTO EXPRESS) were able to work with us in order to get our cars released. WITHOUT MY THIRD PARTY TRACKING, AUTO EXPRESS WOULD HAVE MISPLACED OUR CARS. The best part of this whole ordeal is that my car arrived scratched down the doors on each side as if someone had keyed them. Thank you Auto Express! They also tried to charge me $500 DOLLARS EXTRA because the "footprint" of my car affected the loading of the trailer. We reached out to the trucking company directly to ask if this was true and they said it hadn't affected it at all. AUTO EXPRESS ATTEMPTED TO SCAM ME AT THE EXPENSE OF THE TRUCKING COMPANY! At the end of the day, car shipping can be a messy business. Auto Express advertises themselves as a company above the muck of other car shipping companies, however this couldn't be further from the truth. The lying, scamming, and manipulation was abhorrent throughout the entire process. To prove this, the company will probably post a reply to this review refuting my claims. They get two stars for getting our cars to our destination. I reached out to this company after being scammed by a different one. On their quote they claim they will assign a driver and schedule your pickup right away. (This was not my experience). We needed to ship our cars a long way, from Alabama to Seattle. I immediately hired them on June 15, the day I contacted them, and paid $995 dollars upfront as a deposit. The quote was for $4995. I finally heard from a dispatcher in the afternoon of June 16. They assured me they could get our cars picked up by June 22nd in the morning. After explaining our situation, I was once again assured by Quinn the dispatcher that they would "get this taken care of for me." By this time it was June 17th. I then did not hear from her again (despite multiple attempts from me to reach out) until June 21st. At this time I was concerned the driver would not actually pick up our cars as promised. I asked if we could leave it at a different address, as we would have to fly out by the 22nd at 1pm. I was told at this point to leave our cars at a different address. Communication was then pretty spotty. On June 23rd we were told one of the steer tires needed to be repaired. Our cars were finally picked on the 24th and our friends had to drive them to a different location for pickup. Despite all of the stress, lack of communication and promises that were not kept, I understood that our timeline was tight. I was okay with them at this point. I was told our cars would be dropped off between June 27 and June 30th. Unfortunately, drop off for our cars was communicated unprofessionally. I waited patiently and reached out to Quinn on the last day of the window I was given. At this point she told me the driver would be arriving that day but that she could not give me a window on what time he would be arriving. I was told "We will be sure to give advance notice before his arrival as well as the meeting point." At 1:51 PM I received the next email stating the driver was ALREADY at the meeting point. Although they had my phone number, I did not get a call or a text. Luckily I checked my email at around 2:30 pm. At this time, I called Quinn and told her we would try to be there at 3pm as we had to suddenly leave work. She then apparently spoke to the driver and told me he was "willing to wait" for us. (How nice. After we were given no notice prior to his arrival). We had to rush to get to the meeting point and had to uber to the location as he decided to drop off everyone's cars at a Home Depot near our place. The driver did not even know our names, or how much money we still owed. I had to show him our quote. Ridiculous and shady. I expressed my disappointment in an email and asked for a receipt but have received nothing in reply so far. The entire situation was a lot more stressful than it needed to be. At no point did I receive an apology for the unprofessional communication and the undue stress that was caused. They charge way too much to treat their customers this way. I would think twice before choosing them. I definitely will not be shipping cars with them again. Update: Quinn reached out and apologized. I also received a $200 discount. From start to finish these guys were exceptional. I had gone through two other brokers to get my car shipped to Tennessee. I was running out of time and starting to have a mental breakdown for sure. When I called I actually spoke to the owner who was kind and straight to the point. Craig was very clear with his team's process and what to expect from start to finish. He also let me know that they have a very convenient safe location where I could drop my car off if his carrier wasn't quite ready for pick up. When we started the process of selling our classic cars, we required that the buyer be local because we knew how flaky and even scammy auto transport could be. Sure enough for our last classic's sale, we had a buyer in Arizona who said he would take care of arranging his own transport -- as long as we didn't have to be involved in the transport, we were fine with it. But as soon as he purchased our car last Saturday, the buyer reached out to the transporter he had coordinated ... and they stopped communicating with him, leaving the car with us until he could find someone else. Fortunately for us, I found Craig and Quinn and Auto Express on Sunday. They are local so we felt good about referring them based on what we've seen online. Our buyer communicated with Quinn who got the car scheduled for transport within two days' time -- amazing considering he contacted them on a Sunday. Quinn also communicated well with us and then Craig came out in person to meet the truck driver and go over all the transport details with him and us. auto express was very hard to deal with. they did not give any updates, even when stating they would give an update on driver arrivals. we were told we would get notified when driver was 2 hours out, never happened. just a phone call when driver was there. when dropping cars off at location, the company had not paid the driver, which then caused headache because driver would not release cars. Auto Express Inc. is an absolute disaster and should be avoided at all costs!!! In our unfortunate encounter with this company, they displayed a shocking level of dishonesty and incompetence. Despite their initial quote of $995 for shipping, they shamelessly hiked the price without any prior notice or consent, leaving us stunned by the sudden increase, as seen by the invoice and quote.. Moreover, their demand for a "down payment" allegedly going to their driver turned out to be a blatant money-grabbing scheme, as they pocketed double the amount paid to the driver, according to their own listing, once again as seen by the photos in this review.. This deceitful practice is made worse by their complete lack of accountability and communication, leaving customers like us feeling betrayed, lied to, and cheated. Despite assuring us that our car would be picked up on a Monday, after I called and informed them I would like to cancel as I had found my own driver that could pick up the vehicle in a couple hours; they "Suddenly" had also found a driver and told me it would be picked up Monday. Come to find out it was a hoax as they repeatedly delayed the process with empty reassurances and false updates. Our vehicle ended up stranded in an unsafe location for an additional 36 hours beyond the agreed-upon pick-up time, causing immense stress and frustration. This company took almost a month to deliver the car and when we were asking for more information about the location of the car they block the number that we were calling. Okay first off all.. RUDE. They're so rude any questions you have you're better off looking it up. They don't want to answer just try to rush you off the phone. We were given many estimates of pickup but we're in the end given the run around. When we booked they said Monday, Monday comes nothing, called they say 48hrs that came and went, finally got a driver Friday. After another estimate. Whatever somewhat not their fault. Driver came was rude and tried to SCAM!! While he was 6 ish hrs out from delivering he called and said he wanted 600 dollars upon delivery. Called the people they said that the driver isn't supposed to contact you. So.... Take that as you will. Car finally gets to delivery point driver holds the car hostage... we call after 15 minutes to see what's going on, apparently the person whom is in charge of the payments hadn't sent it... they say it's being handled now. 20 minutes later call again say they're still handing it. An HOUR later the driver finally hands the keys over after an attitude and multiple times of asking. All in all wouldn't use them again very rude, very disrespectful, not worth the hassle. read more

After talking to several transport companies I was now talking to Craig at Auto Express. He made me feel comfortable immediately so we hired him to take "our baby" a 2010 SS Camaro to our new home in Missouri. The person with the transport truck arrived in a timely manner for our appointment, then whisked away the Camaro. Craig stayed in regular contact while the transport person was crossing the country so we knew it was safe & sound. It was well worth every cent contracting with Auto Express for the Camaro. Then came the next story in the next paragraph... We purchased a 28' cargo trailer to get our stuff to Missouri. Because we'd had such success with Auto Express we contracted with them once again, but this time, to move all of our worldly belongings. Craig and the team at Auto Express worked feverishly to find just the right truck as this transport would not be a typical job. When Ben, the transport person with a flat bed came there were MANY problems getting the trailer onto the flat bed. So much so that Craig drove 30 miles to our house to assist the driver. Several prayers, hours and a lot of sweat, and probably tears, the trailer was loaded, Craig would gladly tell you the whole story if you contract with them for transport, it was amazing. Craig called us daily with updates as to how it was going and where all our things were.Those days were fraught with new concerns, but Ben arrived a few days later. Incidentally, Craig and Ben are two of the nicest, professional people you'll ever do business with! This is not the end of the story because the corners and creeks made it impossible for the flat bed to turn onto the country Missouri road to the home. My husband's sister asked one of her very accommodating neighbors, with a big truck, for help. Several hours dozens of prayers and a lot more sweat and tears, the trailer was parked in its new home, with all of our worldly belongings intact. I cannot even express the enormous sense of gratitude we have for Craig, Ben, our new neighbor and the Auto Express team for taking such care of every single meaningful belonging of ours as if they were their own.
