It's been 3 years since I've had my window replaced by Auto Glass. Unfortunately, everytime I open the window that was replaced- I can hear it. It sounds significantly different than my other 3 windows. So much so that it's noticeable. And others comment on it. That sound is louder depending on the weather. Well, lets's see... if you have a chip or need a windshield repair, this is your one stop shop. I found it on google based on reviews. When I proceeded to check out the shop in the back alley area, I was approached by Mark who stopped what he was doing to check my windshield. He immediately knew where the crack was and said he could fix it even at the last minute. He did state the shop isn't responsible disclaimer for repairs, but stated his shop fixes windshields they don't intentionally try to break windshield for business. I came at the very last minute around noon time and Mark was ready to fix windshield on the spot. Tell me that isn't exceptional service? My windshield is fixed flawless when no place said it could be fixed. He did charge me a flat rate cash only, but point being windshield is fixed! Saved me $400 dollars. A side passenger window on my Honda Element had shattered. Auto Glass LA (also known as LA Windshield) replaced it less than 48 hours later with a perfect duplicate from the same manufacturer that had supplied it to Honda in the first place. It looks good as new. The owner Marc is exceptional: patient, personable, explains things clearly, and was able to do this quickly and at a very fair price. This windshield shop in Tarzana does a great job with windshield replacement. I had a long vertical crack in my windshield that couldn't be repaired, and I was looking for a place that could do it quickly, at a reasonable cost, using OEM parts. Auto Glass LA exceeded my expectations. They were friendly, answered the phone quickly (it's surprising how many auto service centers go straight to voicemail these days!), and explained everything to me. They looked up my VIN, and gave me quotes with the option of 3rd-party or OEM parts. Both look excellent but I went with OEM because I wanted all the decals intact (it's a Jeep Wrangler, there is Jeep artwork on the window). I called them late Thursday afternoon and by Saturday morning I had a brand new windshield! I couldn't be happier. Their prices are great; their OEM quote was cheaper than some of the non-OEM prices I was quoted. If you live in the valley and you need your windshield replaced, you should call Auto Glass LA.
