I cannot put into words how amazing George was. He asked me to pay for the glass up front so that he could order it. This made sense and I was willing to do this on a credit card. He then ordered the glass and came to my place of work to install it. During the install he noticed that the glass that was ordered was incorrect. On his own dime he corrected the mistake and then came back with the correct glass to complete the task. He was on time each time and was very polite and professional. The price was extremely reasonable and his service including cleaning out the old glass was impeccable. I cannot recommend him enough. My front passenger window was completely shattered by someone who broke into my car. I called the shop and he was able to fit me in and order my replacement glass on the same day. He gives you the quote, and you pre-pay for him to order the glass. As soon as I arrived at the shop, he vacuumed up the glass and started right away. The whole process took about 45 minutes. My only issue was that they left the inside of my car extremely dirty and since it was oil-like marks left inside, it did take a bit of muscle to scrub it out. Can't really recommend George enough if you're in the unfortunate position of needing to replace a window on your car. My car's driver window was smashed one night. Glass everywhere inside and outside the vehicle. I sent a request for some quotes via Yelp and feel very lucky that George responded. He gave me a call and said he was pretty sure he could find the right replacement glass for my old Lexus (1997, so not very high availability of the exact glass) and quoted me at nearly half the price (!) of Safelite (one of the more popular, insurance recommended auto glass companies). Having mentioned I couldn't really drive the car because of all the broken glass inside, George said he would do mobile service at my apartment for a very small fee. I told him I would definitely work with him if he could get the replacement glass. George called me the next morning and told me he got the glass and would be over around 1pm. He arrived on time, explained to me some of the small risks of removing some of the moldings around the window on such an old car, but that it was necessary to clean up the glass in the door and replace the window. I agreed and George went to work. About an hour later and my window was good as new. George also vacuumed the broken glass out of my car pretty thoroughly and most of it that was on the ground around my car too. I signed the work order and that was it. Super convenient, efficient, and quality job. Again, can't recommend George and Same Day Auto Glass enough. One of the easiest 5 star reviews I've ever written. read more
