They need to hire a receptionist who knows what she's talking about. I called to inquire about repairs/replacement for a cracked windshield. I was prepared to pay whatever it cost, and take my business here, based on reviews I'd read. However, after a 12-minute conversation with the receptionist, I decided to take my business elsewhere. She repeatedly told me that their work was "guaranteed", but couldn't explain what that meant. She kept contradicting herself and getting defensive. For example, she said that depending on whether they decided to "guarantee" repair of a crack, they would deduct the repair cost from replacement cost if the crack spread. I asked her at what point they'd decide whether to "guarantee" their work - before, during, or after the repair. She gave me about 3 different answers to the question. She also said they'd charge $10 for each minor chip/crack in addition to the main crack -- they were"guaranteed" as well. What does that mean - she said she didn't know, other than the fact that they were "guaranteed", and they weren't trying to scam me. I don't believe they're scam artists. They use terms on their web site such as "quality Windshield Repair", "Best Quality, Service, Price". That's fine, since those are subjective terms that don't mean anything. But a "guarantee" is supposed to be an actual thing, and you should be able to explain what it is. I later found a description on their web site of their guarantee. If their receptionist had taken the time to read it, and been able to explain it to their customers, they would have got my business. I ended up going to another windshield repair company who clearly explained their policies, did a great job, completed the work on time, and charged what they said they would charge. read more

My car was broken into while parked in a secure garage overnight. They broke the right side window. When I found out in the morning, I wanted to get it fixed asap to prevent any further vandalism and possible theft. Called a bunch of service centers, all of them had appointments after 4-5 days. Are there six stars? There should be, just for Dan and the folks at Autoglass Solutions. I had called a few other places (including H&H) only to leave countless messages and never get called back. When I called Autoglass Solutions, my call was answered, I was given a quote (which was incredibly reasonable), and Dan was scheduled to be at my car as soon as he picked up the appropriate glass and supplies! I called at 1:30 and by 4:45pm my window was fixed. (My rear passenger window had been smashed.) Dan came to my location, even keeping me from having to leave my work appointment by dropping my keys off at the front desk when he was done (as I told him he could) and leaving me a detailed voice message. Not only that, but he felt that one of the parts he had brought was not working up to his satisfaction, so he is holding my check until he can find a better part, which he will then come back out and install. I called for an estimate and it was considerably lower than other places I'd checked at - even for a place that I had a Groupon for before and ended up cancelling. I recently had a window smashed on my car during a breakin. I chose autoglass solutions based on their yelp rating. I quoted 2 other companies one was the same cost as Autoglass solutions the other was $100+ more. I called autoglass solutions in the morning, they offered to give me an appointment that day but the time didn't work for me so I got an appointment the following day. I was told that the repair man would come between 10-12, he came around 10:30, he told me it would take about 45 minutes and he would call when he was done, about 45 minutes latter he called. Woke up to find passenger window smashed for a stupid diaper bag, while in a garage. Not great when you're late to work and need to take baby to daycare. We called these guys and they were able to come by lunchtime; I let them into the garage and they took care of everything while I went back to work, leaving key with apartment office. They were so easy to work with, and the quality and price was so good, I think I will replace my windshield every few years now to keep it free from the little micro-pittings you get from highway driving.
