Just A heads up on this guy Marcus and this crap business he runs.... I've seen him perform extremely dangerous things to cars... ie... he took out the rear u bolts that hold the leaf springs and shock mount brackets to the rear end housing and replace them with grade 8 bolts with tack welds on opposite sides to make them essentially a t bolt, the u Bolts are there to hold the rear end and everything together and replacing them with a bolt is extremely dangerous, also seen them cut a piece out of a stock stamped steel upper control arm on a chevelle so that the caliper would clear and the wheels would go lock to lock, another extremely dangerous thing to do to a vehicle...I have seen them try to Modify aftermarket frame rails on a nova so that I would lay on the frame, instead of following the wheel and making it round they made the rails go straight up and half moon and back down, making the 22" wheels hit the wheelwells before even touching the floor, seen them install the rails crooked in another nova. He and his crew are foose wanna bes... they can't install anything custom or aftermarket without it coming back numerous times and still never getting it right, from power windows to door poppers to trunk lids with liner actuators, they just don't have the skills or the knowledge.... Marcus thinks he's in the realm of chip foose and other hi end builders and thinks his business is world renowned... it just goes and to show this guy has no clue.......stay far far away unless you like wasting your money read more

He worked with the insurance company for follow up and re inspections and kept me up to date along the way. The insurance adjustor estimated my car repairs would take 5-7 days. I was blown away when I got call back from Marcus after just 3 days letting me know my car was repaired. I have been bringing my vehicles to Marcus for 10+ years and I would never dream of going anywhere else. He never ceases to amaze me with his work. Whether it be from a little fender bender that my gf got into or a custom built hot rod. He never rushes just to get it done he takes his time and makes sure everything is perfect. He had my truck fixed up and painted within 2 days when other places where telling me it would be more then a week before I would get my truck back. Marcus Smith comes across as a bitter, small-minded man who hides behind racism and disrespect to feel powerful. He seems to think proximity to the boxing world gives him permission to degrade women of color--especially Black women--but it only exposes his insecurity and ignorance. He also appears stuck in his personal life, still living with his ex and unable to move forward after being faced with expectations of commitment like marriage. This business- especially Marcus is as sketchy as they come. The quality of the work is done extremely poorly and they are constantly cutting corners (per the other reviews I've read as well). Marcus put my life in danger by releasing me the vehicle without proper inspection done. You can tell they do the bare minimum on multiple areas they worked on. Had the axle or tire popped out on our drive home it could have caused a massive accident and my life and many other lives in danger. Think twice before trusting your vehicle with this company. Highly recommended. Auto image is a shop that can make your dream car a reality. I have a 1967 Chevy nova and I'm currently getting full custom work done. From a fully tubbed back half, four link custom rear suspension system, Chris Alston front clip, 14inch breaks, door handles shaved, drip rails removed just to name a few. I absolutely do not know what I would do without this place. I ended up rear ending someone in my boyfriends brand new truck. Still had dealer plates. I was freaking out and had called Marcus and he took care of everything including the person I had hit. I don't know anyone else who would do that. He's the best around .
