I was sent to Alexander's by the Hyundai dealer to repair defective factory paint on my Sonata a few years ago. The experience was excellent and the workmanship and quality of the new paint has stood up very well. They removed all the paint down to the metal and started from scratch with all new. Very professional! Today, I stopped by to inquire about a loose or damaged screw on my bumper caused by inadvertently backing up over a metal chair that had slid in the path as I was backing up. I wasn't sure if i had caused any damage and was reluctant to go through any car wash and risk something catching on my bumper. Jason Anselma is the Collision Center Manager and understood my concern. He offered to look at my car at no charge and put my mind at ease. His hospitality and that of his staff really go above and beyond making this my shop of choice were I ever to need body work. Jason was able to tighten and reinforce my bumper screw AND gave me some excellent tips on how to keep my interior and exterior car looking great. I just finished a service appt at Hyundai on my Tucson Hybrid and I showed the cust srv rep some faint scratches I had on passenger door. He highly recommended I drive around the bldg and go to the body shop. It was there I had the great pleasure of meeting Karl on a late rainy Friday afternoon and the team just happened to have some open time for a 20 min repair. I was so stoked . I couldnt believe it. Wasn't a pleasant experience. Went to pick up my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee (8 months young) after being rear ended and here is what I saw: bumper didn't fit correctly and wasn't sitting flush, a paint drip, numerous imperfections on the paint, and scratches to my lift gate where no damage was originally done. They kept it over the weekend and after I picked it up (it looked better at this point), I noticed the muffler wasn't even centered. Prefer to bring my Jeep to another shop rather than bring it back for their 3rd try. Not my first rodeo with a collision center, but without a doubt, my worst. 2 stars because Martha at the front desk was very courteous. read more

I had my bumper radar and AC compressor replaced here. After the DCH Honda dealership calibrated it, the errors came back. Jim took it back to them but they insisted that it was because my windshield was aftermarket and refused to give a refund for the calibration. Jim cares about his customers' satisfaction so he offered to cover the cost if another dealership could do it. Ocean Honda was able to calibrate it with no problems, and found that the windshield wasn't the issue, but that the bumper radar needed to be calibrated. I appreciate Jim's persistence in trying to get the issue fixed which it eventually did. read more

Didn't even let them touch the after the comments they made to another customer. They told the customer the body damage was worth more than the car so the insurance would only pay the value of the car. I think this place works in cahoots with insurance to ripe off the customers. My car was hit by someone - their fault not mine. I was told the same bs story as the customer before me. Accident wasn't my fault so my car should be fix. They wouldn't give me a real estimate for the damage on my car because it was to old and not enough value for them. Well my car has value to me and it should be fix regardless of the value of my car. They kept me up to date on repairs communicated with my insurance and restored my car to its original state. I took my suburban back several times because of poor quality paint. They did the usual run around and would not honor the warranty that lasts as long as you own the car. The manager "Jim" was not willing to make the repairs to defective work.
