It's not the brushless type of wash, but IMO this type works better. The blow-dry at the end of the wash does a pretty good job, but there'll still be some water and maybe dirt spots to wipe off. (My car was very dirty before, and pretty clean after, but still some bug goo to wipe away) They provide towels, and I used a lot of them! The attendant made sure there were always plenty of clean ones. A sign says there's a 5 minute time limit to park at the vacuums. They probably only enforce that during busy times. I was there probably more than 30 minutes wiping and vacuuming. And the guy just kept re-supplying the towels. The vacuums have good suction too, though there were probably only 6 other cars there at the time. Might be different when it's very busy. If you want to be a regular here, you can buy unlimited washes for a set period of time. I don't remember the price, but it's a great deal. I'd do that if I was near San Ysidro often enough.
