I booked these guys for a full detail around midnight and they showed up same day first thing in the morning. They came prepared and were very friendly and ready to work. I didn't think the detail would take the full 2 hours but now I understand why it did. They absolutely cleaned the heck out of my car and it looks and smells better than when I bought it. I was not able to judge the business on services due to the inefficient communication. I say inefficient because the owner was communicating up until time of service. He supplied a physical address, but when I showed up, there was no visible business signs. I tried to call and text, but still no answer. I was under the impression that he was going to be at the physical address. To his credit, he is a mobile detailer, but what could have saved us both time, he could've mentioned to call or text prior to arriving. I stayed in the area for at least 1hr, which is way longer than I should've. He did try to call, hours later, to try and make up the mistake. Magic Mike does an excellent job of maintaining my vehicles, when he shows up. Mike has been washing my cars for about 3 months now and as I said his work product is excellent, he's courteous and a nice guy, however he is not timely. He has been late more times than not, and occasionally just doesn't show up, which is very unprofessional and a deal breaker for me. Unfortunately, It's changed this review from a 5 star to a 3 star review. I purchased his subscription service after the first wash; not sure if the lack of timeliness on his part is a side effect of this action. read more

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! Booked an appointment in advance for 12PM and when I arrived, he was NOWHERE to be found. Then when I called him, he stated he was in La Jolla and wouldn't be ready for an hour. Who books a customer and then when they are running late, they don't even bother to call? So fast forward 2 hours later when he finally does arrive, he does the inside AND out in less than 30 minutes. Vacuum job was horrible (still had sand in the car) and he didn't even clean the inside of the windows, the rearview, didn't wipe down the dash, and no Armor All either. My 11 year old nephew has done a better job washing my car. Thankfully he gave me a discount and only charged me $20 otherwise I would've felt more ripped off than I did. Don't waste your time with this guy. If you want a half ass wash, just run it through one of those automated car washes. read more

This company has horrible communication. I had to confirm my own appointments the day before and day of. I was never contacted by anyone regarding my appointment. My appointment was between 0900-0930. I had to call the technician at 0845 to get an update regarding my appointment. He said he was at La Jolla and will be meeting me at 0930. At 0945 called the guy back and he gives me an excuse that I have to factor in his drive from La Jolla to down south. Long story short, 1 hour later I was still waiting for him. I called him back and he kept insisting for me to reschedule my appointment if I can't wait. I got frustrated and canceled my appointment instead. Horrible experience! read more

Mike just wrapped up cleaning my interior - let me start by saying, he responded within 10 minutes of me asking for a quote, and then when he got here and I opened my car I realized it was in worse shape than I thought. He and his brother worked fast and got into the spaces I was concerned about. I have an Australian Shepherd, I hike, and I live close enough to the ocean to utilize the beach.... that right there will tell you what kind of situation I had. They asked me if I wanted to stay close to the original quote, I said yes and they obliged.
