0 Star -- Extremely Disappointed After 15 Years as a Honda Customer…read more I have been a loyal Honda customer since 2011, and after today's experience, I am extremely disappointed and honestly heartbroken by how much the customer service has changed at Honda of Homestead. I called yesterday because my car is having a serious and potentially dangerous issue. While I am driving and come to a light, the car will suddenly switch from Drive to Park. When I try to put it back into Drive, sometimes it will not allow me to. I have to turn the car off and restart it, and there have even been times when it does not want to start again right away. This is happening while I am in traffic, and I am extremely concerned about my safety. Because of this, I called the dealership to make an appointment. I was first offered Monday at 7:40 AM. I clearly explained that I could not come Monday. I was then offered Saturday at 7:40 AM, and I accepted that appointment. I showed up today at 7:40 AM, exactly when I was told to come. When I arrived, I was told my appointment was actually for Monday. I explained that I had specifically told the person on the phone that Monday did not work for me and that I had been given Saturday at 7:40 AM. One employee was very kind and told me not to worry and that they would try to help me. Unfortunately, another employee came over and basically told me there was nothing they could do. She suggested I leave my car and pick it up Monday after they checked it. I explained AGAIN that I could not come Monday and that this was a safety issue. What really bothered me was that nobody seemed willing to take ownership of the situation or even try to find a solution. Instead, I was left with no choice but to take my car and leave, even though I came in because I am afraid to drive it with this problem. After being a Honda customer since 2011, I expected much better. I have supported this dealership for years, and I never imagined that when I had a serious problem with my vehicle, I would be treated like my situation wasn't important. I don't care what brand I drive. I care about having a safe, reliable vehicle and being treated with respect when I need help. Today, Honda of Homestead did not make me feel like a valued customer. After 15 years of loyalty, this experience has made me decide to take my business elsewhere and look for another vehicle brand. Honda of Homestead, you didn't just lose a customer today. You lost a customer who had been loyal to Honda since 2011. I sincerely hope management reads this review and takes a serious look at what happened, especially when a customer is reporting a potentially dangerous vehicle problem. Customer service should not depend on whether the dealership is busy or whether an appointment was entered incorrectly. Someone should have taken responsibility and helped.

RUN AWAY. Unregistered, illegal operation. In legal process, hold my car hostage. Took him 8 months…read moreof get a bodywork job, received the car in worst condition

After waiting all day, Adam told me to go call someone else (that was going to come with the part…read morethat morning, but instead I decided to give him the job because he said he was local and was giving me a better price AND that he wanted to "help me"). He was never clear when we began our dialogue in the morning that the job wouldn't be done the same day. After hours of waiting, after 6pm he finally said that he would only be able to remove the part and had to send it off the following day to be rebuilt. When I said something about the other mechanic, he wrote a pretty rude text message saying that the job required that the "whole nose" of my van be removed (which after MANY youtube videos- no one did that) to call the other guy. And then mechanics wonder why people have no trust in them. I read other's reviews on here mentioning his arrogance & that definitely came through. Just because you've "been in business 20 years" doesn't exactly make you a good business man. You can have awful customer service and still be in business ESPECIALLY if you tell someone they need work that they don't actually need or work is required that actually isn't. I guess he wasn't expecting someone to do the research first. Being unreliable, belittling, arrogant and unclear are the reasons why I am leaving a negative review. I lose a whole day of work when the job could've been done by someone else. That's what I get for trying to save some money and believe that a mechanic actually wanted to help. Joke's on me. Unfortunate.
