My husband collects International Harvester vehicles. He has passed this hobby (translation:…read moreobsession) on to my sons. My oldest child is the proud owner of a 1947 US Military ambulance made by IH. He's restoring it. The husband owns two Scouts and a big ass truck. None of these vehicles actually move at the moment. Anyhoo. In order to save a ton of money on parts, we bought yet another International Harvester truck. This one is a rust bucket with lots of salvageable parts. It was also located about 80 miles from home and not drivable. So, Sexy Beast bought this truck and enlisted the services of Coleson Transport to move the rust bucket to our location. We were quoted a price of "somewhere between $250 and $350" (translation: $350). The driver arrived with his friend in tow (pun intended) over 30 minutes later than estimated. The loading process went smoothly and quickly. This is where it gets interesting. Rather than follow Sexy Beast to the final destination, the driver decided to rely on his GPS device to guide him (claiming it was a quicker route). So, Sexy Beast follows them until they pull into a Burger King parking lot. Everyone grabs a burger. At this point, the driver announces that he is now going in the opposite direction of the final destination. Everyone gets back in their respective vehicles and the driver leads the posse around in the wrong direction yet again. At this point, he concedes to follow the resident of the destination address. Upon arrival, unloading was smooth and quick. The next day, we get a call from the co-owner of the business who wants to up-charge. She claimed that the charge of $350 was an undercharge. Now, these guys charge by the mile. The fact that they lead everyone around needlessly for miles and stopped for dinner should have resulted in a refund. It didn't. This woman went on about charging $50 more and then conceded to "just charge another $10". She spoke with Sexy Beast. She did not speak with me. The ending of that conversation would have been significantly different had she spoken with me. So, to summarize: They will show up late, load the vehicle, drive it around so they can charge a ton, drop it off, then (after it's all over and they have access to your credit card information) try to tack on additional charges. Do yourself a favor, call someone else. We certainly will the next time we need a car moved.

Needless to say the shop sais it was towed in like that and the owner told me to get lost its my fault the balljoint broke im tje first place. Bottom line: hire someone who has a tow truck
