My car window was completed shattered by a thief in my neighborhood (Mayor Blasio, you should be ashamed to tell twitter about reduced crime rates). I called almost a dozen shops; Jim answered the phone with a price and told me that the repair could be done on the same day. When I arrived, I noted that the shops are manned by group of seasoned staff who talked straight. The waiting room was spacious and the staff who installed the window cleaned the window (wiped the edges several times) before fitting the glass into a space holder (a rubber frame) then putting the whole set back on to my car. The whole process took approximately 40 min. which is exact what I expected (when in double, google it). I paid what I was quoted over the phone. One day after the repair, I received a follow up text from the store just to make sure that everything is fine. It is a very nice touch in customer service, reflecting the pride and honor of the owner as well as management. As I drove away, another customer who had the same window problem came. I hope those who read this review would never ever need to replace his or her car windows due to theft or accident. If you ever do, I recommend this auto shop.

I woke up to my car not starting on a recent Friday morning when the temp dropped into the low 40's...called AAA who told me it was likely the starter as opposed to the battery. As I'm new to the city, I put in a search on yelp and was contacted by multiple mechanics nearby (I'm in Jackson Heights) and requested a quote for pricing--both parts and labor, as well as the turnaround time--and Aegean was by far the best all-around. They were right on top of the correspondence, going back-and-forth with all of the details promptly and were able to secure the part, take in and run full diagnostics on my vehicle, and make the necessary repairs (including securing a new battery which I did not originally have as part of my request) within hours. We started talking around noon or so, and by 5:30, I was on my way home with everything done. They also tipped me off to some other work that I was going to need on the car in the near future regarding the tires, telling me exactly when and why I should be pursuing that work and justifying the need by showing me the tread markings as opposed to just simply claiming work needs to be done like some shops will do. You can tell they are not just about the bottom line, but really want to help out and retain their customers by presenting quality work to be done at the best price possible, which again is rare for a mechanic. These guys definitely just became my new go-to shop for anything in the future, and they guarantee their work in case there's ever a problem going forward.
