They guys here did an amazing job welding parts together. I also got my wheels alignment here but BEWARE!!! if your tires are all the same size but are different brands for example lets say in the front i have mickey thompson tires and in the back i have 1 toyo tires and the other one some random brand but they are all the same size they will not do the aligment. All tires have to match, The reason they do it like that is so all tires when you get the aligment rotate at the same time. I also got here my lift kit installed for my jeep liberty 2005 KJ the guys did an amazing job putting this together. A day after, I got a call from Mark who said that the car was good to go and that it had no issues for driving. I was surprised and happy to hear that. I paid $160 and picked up the car soon after and started driving it back down to Brooklyn. I quickly learned that M&M had spent no time working on my car. There was a range of issues. There was a scraping sound of the inside of the bumper falling off whenever I drove. The car was in desperate need of an oil change. The brakes were so worn down that they were unsafe for driving and the car rattled whenever I drove. On top of all these issues, the car had tires at 10 PSI (they are normally supposed to be at 33 PSI). Finally I learned that the car's horn didn't even work when I needed it most on my drive back down to the city. I called multiple times frustrated about what I even paid for. I felt lied to when Mark told me that my car was good to go when it clearly was unsafe to drive and wouldn't pass state inspection in its state. I felt gaslit by the woman on the phone who told me that there was no issue and that Mark would call me to tell me he looked over everything. He never called. I am really frustrated because I was ripped off and had to take the car to get significant work at different shops throughout Brooklyn because Mark overlooked so many glaring errors. Bottom line: whether you have a beater or a Benz, do not take your car here. Unless you want to burn your money.

Guest what they did, they left my car in the street for a few days without any consent or like if my money isn't worth anything. I lost two toolboxes worth over $500, Ray-Ban sunglasses ($200), my EZ Pass, charging cables/adapters, perfume, clothes from my backpack, also a head unit that was in green box and more. On top of that, I paid their diagnostic fee (which I don't mind since that's part of their job), but when it comes to my missing belongings, I'm the one who takes the loss. It's been 3 days and I still haven't gotten a single answer or resolution from the shop. Items don't just vanish into thin air. The worst part is the complete lack of responsibility or concern from their side. The reviews may make this place look like a trustworthy shop and that's the reason I came here for, but my experience was the opposite. My car window was completed shattered by a thief in my neighborhood (Mayor Blasio, you should be ashamed to tell twitter about reduced crime rates). I called almost a dozen shops; Jim answered the phone with a price and told me that the repair could be done on the same day. When I arrived, I noted that the shops are manned by group of seasoned staff who talked straight. The waiting room was spacious and the staff who installed the window cleaned the window (wiped the edges several times) before fitting the glass into a space holder (a rubber frame) then putting the whole set back on to my car. The whole process took approximately 40 min. which is exact what I expected (when in double, google it). I paid what I was quoted over the phone. One day after the repair, I received a follow up text from the store just to make sure that everything is fine. It is a very nice touch in customer service, reflecting the pride and honor of the owner as well as management. As I drove away, another customer who had the same window problem came. I hope those who read this review would never ever need to replace his or her car windows due to theft or accident. If you ever do, I recommend this auto shop.

Recently, my opinion has changed due to my last experience. *Note the owner has been away. I drove in with a perfectly running car to have a battery cut off switch (purchased on Amazon) installed by a professional in the hope of not inadvertently causing electrical problems myself. The mechanic (great guy) installed it and I was charged $118 for what amounted to 1/2 hr of labor. Fine, at least I won't have to worry, I figured. I drove home and the car seemed to be running slightly rougher than previous. Maybe my imagination, I thought. That night as I took off to work the car shut off in my narrow driveway. Too narrow to tow. I ended up removing the component but not before taking the photos I posted and taking a video. An AAA guy who came to give a boost agreed that it would be best to remove it, as the boost would be useless. The car started and the next day I went about my day only for the car not to start while in Manhattan. Previously I called them and was told by the young manager that the issue was due to a faulty component they did not purchase and he wouldn't take responsibility. But I can speak to the owner when he's back in two weeks. When I got stuck in Manhattan I was told by the same person I probably I had a faulty alternator all along, a separate issue altogether, get it back and they would take a look. He was dismissive and somewhat irritated at my calls as I tried to tie things back to the install. I got it towed to the front of garage the next day and gave them the keys so they can check it out as I rented a car to go to work. An hour and a half before closing they still hadn't looked at it as they were "busy" with other customers. I reiterated that despite the hardship of the car suddenly not working after they worked on it I brought it back to them in trust and due to my good past experiences. I felt it was unfair to be placed last on the list. Half an hour before closing I was told the problem (see images) was a 180 amp battery fuse which melted when the cut-off component was attached to it. I had questioned the mechanic as to what it was during the installation and whether it mattered, he continued thinking it would be fine. Again, he was a cool guy. He found what the components was and a replacement part that could be ordered from Amazon. I even tipped him again after the whole experience was over. The manager however repeatedly blamed the part and not the work. I ordered the part (battery fuse) and had it installed the next day. The manager acted like they were doing me a favor by installing the part they had destroyed and I had to pay for out of my own pocket. After missing work, inconveniencing my neighbors, having to get towed, and renting cars, they did me a favor by not charging me to put the fuse back on. I'm sure the young guy thinks he's doing the right thing; perhaps protecting his staff , or making more money for the owner. But this is the short term thinking of a street mechanic, which is precisely why I go to them to avoid. It's understandable to make a mistake but to not to rectify, and in fact try to hustle it the way he did, hoping I would accept such nonsense, hoping people couldn't be bothered is not good business nor what they are commended for in reviews. "Your Family Auto Service". Essentially I went in with a perfectly working car and left with one that would fail, losing the price of installation, the price of the cut-off switch, tows, rentals, and a new battery fuse. But I should be grateful? Lol Only thing I'm grateful for is they admitted it was a fuse and didn't try to get me for the alternator as he suggested. I've photos, vids, receipts and voice recordings to back my claim. This has been an insult to my intelligence and would be taking advantage of anyone lacking.
