Absolutely Unacceptable Customer Service…read more After being hospitalized for 3 days due to a medical emergency, I arrived at this Enterprise location in a wheelchair, freshly discharged from the hospital, exhausted and trying to make it to our hotel before checkout. My husband and I had reserved and checked in for our vehicle hours earlier, and George personally confirmed that a car would be ready for us. Instead, we sat in the lobby for nearly an hour only to be told our reserved vehicle had been given away. While I sat there visibly weak and recovering, the staff showed little urgency, empathy, or professionalism. George refused to get the manager when requested, and when the manager finally came out, the response was simply, "We're only human, we made a mistake." Mistakes happen. What's unacceptable is the dismissive attitude, lack of accountability, and complete disregard for a customer clearly coming straight from the hospital. This was one of the most unprofessional and insensitive customer service experiences I've ever encountered.

And I was able to secure that. Biggest advice I can give is to call ahead and see if they actually have cars on site. They share a lot with a few businesses and an office space with national car rental and hertz. So there's additional options but today they were both out as well.

I even spoke twice with the Emerald Club customer service department, and twice, they told me that they would have a car for me because my reservation was GUARANTEED. They never called me back. It's just fantastic customer service. I had to cancel a four-day trip. I couldn't cancel my hotel anymore as it was too late. I also had already purchased over $2k in park tickets that I can't cancel. What a fantastic company.

It was enjoyable to have a car with good air conditioning. I felt relaxed for the 3 weeks my own car was in the repair shop. I returned the rental car at my convenience and my deposit was refunded. The car rental was PAID IN FULL to Wisecars. IRent representative attempted to EXTORT not only $9.99 a day for 21 days / $209.79 in insurance but ALSO $7.99 a day for 21 days / $167.79 for a "location fee" total requested $377.58, which is MORE than i PAID IN FULL for the rental. I did not have a contract with IRent. My contract was for an Alma rental through Wisecars. Wisecars is in Breach of Rental Contract kept ALL my money, I received no car. BUYER BEWARE

The vehicle itself was fine, but the manager at the Avis location in Aventura Mall, Florida was shockingly rude and unprofessional. We had a confirmed reservation, but when we arrived, there were no cars available. That part was understandable since we were late. However, when we politely asked when a vehicle might be ready, the manager raised his voice and dismissively said, "Whenever they arrive." After insisting for some clarity, he finally said 1:30 p.m. When we returned at that exact time, he immediately shouted from across the parking lot, "I still don't have a car!" and when we tried to ask a follow-up question, he cut us off and said, "If you don't like it, you can leave." While waiting, two other customers told us they had also been mistreated one even said the manager had locked them out of a vehicle. It's deeply disappointing to see this kind of behavior at an Avis branch. The car was fine, but the customer service was unacceptable. Avis corporate should seriously review how this location is being managed it reflects terribly on an otherwise reliable company.
