They replaced the coolant recovery tank, but did not replace the leaking radiator. I had to replace the leaking radiator my self because they were not available on Saturday or Sunday. I understand that mistakes happen, but they also charged me $139.99 for the coolant recovery tank part. Anybody can buy that part locally for $71.99 and even cheaper online. I asked them to take a look at my bill if see if they thought it was fair, and they did not get back with me. I am not mad at them because I think they are trying to do good work and trying to help people. However, be careful................ the quality of their works may be lacking and their parts markup is extreme.

While waiting for the Highway Patrol, I called the closest auto shop- Affinity Auto- to see if they could be sure my car would be able to drive back to St. Augustine that night. The entire staff was SO kind and considerate. They made sure the car was safe and only charged me the minimum charge to secure the bumper. The mechanic also noticed the tires were all a little low on air, so filled those for me, too. So nice ! THEN comes the amazing part. I drove about 10 minutes away and locked my freaking keys in the car. It was 5:05pm on Friday evening and they drove to my location and unlocked the car for me! Above and beyond! It was a pretty awful day for me, but Affinity Automotive made it as good as it possibly could be. THANK YOU!

After being rejected from the local BMW dealerships (who oddly will not perform general inspections - explaining they only service if there is a clear error or something descriptive "off"? Only guess I have is not wanting to deal with people if they didn't sell it.) I came across DSA. The website was very professional, clearly outlined services that they perform, and left me confident in their abilities. From the first phone interaction, I felt very comfortable. They made it clear that this business is not just about chasing down customers for money but wanted to truly understand how they can serve you. They also let me know of the limitations they have when it came to my vehicle (electric). In person for drop-off and pickup was no different. The team were pleasant all around. They also utilize their communication tools effectively, including a texting service to keep in touch and a very nice digital report you get to keep which includes photos along with a checklist of what work is being done. Even larger repair companies do not offer this so I was very impressed! Where things felt a bit "unfinished" for me (and I shall acknowledge I am no expert) were: Part of the inspection is "Test Drive - Minimum of 3 Miles". The odometer had less than 1 mile difference when I picked it up. After bringing home, the next day I noticed a small wet spot under the vehicle. At first I figured maybe it was AC condensation but using a paper towel it appeared to be windshield wash fluid (a watery bright green). I popped the hood and checked the tank and found a small, clear crack right at the pump joint with the inner black peeking through the white connection and dampness. I recognize it isn't possible to check everything, and they made it clear that they were not as specialized in this, model's electrical system. But it did have me questioning if the "frunk" was ever removed. If it had been, with the few physical components in there, I would like to think the crack would have been noticed. Fortunately, a very easy, simple repair which was not costly or detrimental to the general vehicle performance. They followed up with me a few weeks later to check in on how things were going (again, fantastic communication and great use of digital tools!) and I let them know about the findings. They were supportive and friendly when I replied, which was nice. Overall, I definitely would recommend to anyone with a European vehicle needing service! Despite these few observations (again, acknowledging I am not a professional) they were friendly, efficient and created a comfortable experience. I am also grateful they offer such services (technically BEYOND the dealer level) because it did leave me more confident in my purchase. If I had a less specialized vehicle, then I'd likely be going back to them for other maintenance as needed. Pricing from what I could tell certainly lives up to their name of being an alternative to dealer servicing, coming off as less than what you'd likely spend at a dealer.

I've been using Tire Kingdom in Sanford for just about all of my auto repairs for years but after…read moremy most recent incident, I don't think I will be back. They replaced my AC compressor a few years back and everything was working fine until about two weeks ago when my AC stopped blowing cold. I verified that the system was completely empty and could see oil dripping from my vehicles under cover. Unfortunately, my vehicle sits low to the ground and I don't have a means to safely lift a 4,383 lb. vehicle so I decided to take my vehicle to Brad Green at Green's Auto and Marine. We used Brad Green previously for my wife's vehicle, she also had a bad AC compressor. Brad did a fantastic job and got her back on the road the same day we dropped it off. Since then, Brad has moved to a newer and much larger location with more bays which allows his team to work on just about everything except European vehicles. While we were on site, he was rebuilding a Corvette LS motor and servicing two larger commercial fleet vehicles. Brad's diagnosis was that the tech from Tire Kingdom who installed my new AC compressor must have lost the OEM bolt that holds the compressor to the block. The bolt used was not the proper thread or length. The bolt held for a while but since it only caught 2/8" of the female threads inside the block and cross threaded the threads it did catch, it was only a matter of time before it would break loose. Fortunately, my AC compressor was still in good working condition. As soon as I noticed the issue I kept my AC off until repairs could be made. Brad re-tapped my block to repair the threads and replaced the improper bolt with one that is the proper length and matching threads. After evacuation and recharge, Brad had my vehicle back on the road again. My total bill was $436.03. Brad charged $189 for the Vac/Recharge, $135 for an hour and half labor, and there was a $16 charge for using a credit card. So, if you are looking to save a little, I recommend using cash. Brad was very friendly and informative. He answered all of my questions and walked me through all the steps required to diagnose and make repairs. He did not try to charge me for things I did not need, and he listened intently when I explained the sequence of operation leading up to my AC failure. Fair warning, during my visit I was a little worried Brad would not be able to get to my vehicle right away because he is currently only a two man show and has recently taken on a large fleet of vehicles, 300+ for a contractor that performs traffic control systems throughout Florida. Regardless, he was able to make same day repairs to get me back in business again, which I really appreciate; thank you Brad! All-in-all, I highly recommend giving Green's Auto & Marine an opportunity for your business if you are in the need for auto repairs. Brad and his team are honest, hardworking, and truly care about helping the customer, we will be back!

Not only did he not fix it, he did unauthorized repairs and fraudulently reprinted my name on altered invoices. I took him to court and, unbelievably, the judge gave an award of $4,200 to HIM based on his fabricated statements and invoices. This included $30.00 a day storage fees because I retrieved my car "in the middle of the night". I had tried to have it returned to me twice during the day, which he refused without paying him cash, and kept the car blocked in so I couldn't move it. He had the car for 6 months and 8 days and somehow knew he would win the case, threatening to sell my car and collect the difference if I took him to court. The judge ignored everything I presented to her and concentrated on getting him paid. Judge Sylvia Grunor, Sanford, FL was told by Chris that he had not repaired the car as needed and refused to waive the storage fees which he told a Deputy Sheriff he would do. He is anything but honest. This has not come to an end yet.
