I've been using Tire Kingdom in Sanford for just about all of my auto repairs for years but after my most recent incident, I don't think I will be back. They replaced my AC compressor a few years back and everything was working fine until about two weeks ago when my AC stopped blowing cold. I verified that the system was completely empty and could see oil dripping from my vehicles under cover. Unfortunately, my vehicle sits low to the ground and I don't have a means to safely lift a 4,383 lb. vehicle so I decided to take my vehicle to Brad Green at Green's Auto and Marine. We used Brad Green previously for my wife's vehicle, she also had a bad AC compressor. Brad did a fantastic job and got her back on the road the same day we dropped it off. Since then, Brad has moved to a newer and much larger location with more bays which allows his team to work on just about everything except European vehicles. While we were on site, he was rebuilding a Corvette LS motor and servicing two larger commercial fleet vehicles. Brad's diagnosis was that the tech from Tire Kingdom who installed my new AC compressor must have lost the OEM bolt that holds the compressor to the block. The bolt used was not the proper thread or length. The bolt held for a while but since it only caught 2/8" of the female threads inside the block and cross threaded the threads it did catch, it was only a matter of time before it would break loose. Fortunately, my AC compressor was still in good working condition. As soon as I noticed the issue I kept my AC off until repairs could be made. Brad re-tapped my block to repair the threads and replaced the improper bolt with one that is the proper length and matching threads. After evacuation and recharge, Brad had my vehicle back on the road again. My total bill was $436.03. Brad charged $189 for the Vac/Recharge, $135 for an hour and half labor, and there was a $16 charge for using a credit card. So, if you are looking to save a little, I recommend using cash. Brad was very friendly and informative. He answered all of my questions and walked me through all the steps required to diagnose and make repairs. He did not try to charge me for things I did not need, and he listened intently when I explained the sequence of operation leading up to my AC failure. Fair warning, during my visit I was a little worried Brad would not be able to get to my vehicle right away because he is currently only a two man show and has recently taken on a large fleet of vehicles, 300+ for a contractor that performs traffic control systems throughout Florida. Regardless, he was able to make same day repairs to get me back in business again, which I really appreciate; thank you Brad! All-in-all, I highly recommend giving Green's Auto & Marine an opportunity for your business if you are in the need for auto repairs. Brad is the nicest guy and he won't try to fix something that's not broken. He's got the best prices in town. He fixed my air conditioning in my car and also fixed my husband's van. He also can do oil changes tire rotation and he can fix and plug tires if you get a nail in your tire. He is kind and super honest but he is busy very busy. I took my car to Mr. Brad on 72225 to do my motor mounts I pay him 1092.32 like three weeks ago. I went back to him to let him know. My motor mounts are going bad. Do you wanna know his answer? He said it's like a shirt you cannot just wear it and return it, but my motor mounts are malfunctioning company malfunction. I was told by Brad that he cannot return them because of ORiley would not take them unless they were destroyed which I research and it's a lie because if it is company malfunction, they will return them for no cost. And I was told that he was not gonna change my Motor amounts that they have to be destroyed because if not ORiley will charge him for the motor mounts again again which is not true because I research his wife continue to tell me that the only reason they were saying the Motor amounts were bad is because I was telling these company that the Motor Munts were bad, which is not true. I have paperwork that they an inspection in my whole car. They didn' and this is what they found. I took them the inspection paper from different places. They said that my motors were going bad. He continue to say that it's like a shirt you cannot wear a shirt and then return it. First of all. This is not a shirt. These are motor mounts and they do go bad they have company malfunction and he gave me to 12 2226 which it makes no sense cause he's not gonna change them but once again just be careful with this person his name is Brad. He got me for 1092 dollar He will be so nice in till he get that money because the reason why I went to a supposed professional was if something went wrong, I could come back and get it fixed. If something, my function, I could've went back to him. I picked the wrong person. This person has a bad attitude. He is very disrespectful and he thinks he is The on top of the line and everybody's under him I am a female and I feel like he just hustle the crap out of me because in less than a year, I'm finding myself having to pay somebody else 1000 to 2000 something dollars to do the job that he was supposed to do correct correctly. Very disappointed so please be careful with this person when you put pieces in your car remember, he is not a honest person and he is gonna give you that warranty but he not going to grant it he is gonna tell you if anything goes wrong. It's OK we could fix it but when things go wrong, he doesn't wanna hear it. He doesn't fix it and he doesn't try to fix it his wife continue to tell me that the reason they kept on saying the Motor months were bad. It was because I was telling these companies that the motor mounts were bad which is not true because these were car inspections how the companies got this diagnosed so once again, my mistake I'm believing somebody like him.he got me for 1092.32 my car is shaking bad I can not even turn on my air conditioner because it gets worse so now I'm stuck with that motor mounts and he got me $1092.32 this person does not have a word you could trust and I feel like I got scam by this person. His name is Brad and he is the owner of this company and the whole point that his wife kept on telling me that the reason this is inspections in my car was saying that the motors were going bad was because I was telling them that they were going bad. Is insane so be careful he is a scam. He will take your money make you think he's gonna grant your warranty or if anything man functions but he's not. I just lost $1092.32. I am a person on a certain income right now. I'm trying to figure out how I'm gonna come up with another thousand something dollars to fix my Motor amount. He's a liar because I spoke to O'Reilly and already told me that if the Motor months are malfunctioning all he has to do is bring them back to change them, but it's OK cause people like that don't make it far and there's a thing called karma so be careful with this person.
