The mechanics put in a new engine in my Jeep Wrangler. The car is now misfiring and has a…read moredriveshaft vibration. The Jeep check engine light is on now. I had it there twice to diagnose and they told they didn't have the ability to read the codes. The Jeep didn't have these issue prior to having engine replaced. The manager told me to have Jeep dealer read codes and get back to them. Then I was told they couldn't work on it unless I had them update software in the computer. I spent $4000 there on labor to have motor installed I expect they would diagnose these issues before giving my Jeep back. I was wrong! Now I have to go elsewhere to get these issues corrected. I don't think they have the knowledge to work on newer cars. Beware of this business.

He put a new fuel filter on and we left, had the same issue so turned around and drove 18 miles an hour on I 96 back to his store. He again did a bunch of things to test the issue and help the problem. Then he took our truck for a test ride to see if that fixed it. Called the lady at the front desk explaining I had an oil leak and it was the gasket. She said it would take 30 min to fix and so I came on lunch break. Ended up she must have not communicated to them I had an oil leak, all they did was give me an oil change which I had just had 4 days prior. I specified it was an oil leak, why would I go wait 2 hours for an oil change when I can go up street and get one instantly. Then I wait 2 hours and don't understand why no one calls customers who have appointments and tell them they will need to wait. So 2 points, they didn't know about cars enough to understand what I was saying was wrong or didn't care to pay attention, and secondly they took 2 hours after saying it was 30 minutes. I wouldn't mind if they called me in advance but the front desk worker doesn't seem to care.
