After getting my oil changed a month ago, my car sprung a small oil leak. I didn't noticed until my low oil light came on yesterday. Went back to where I had it done. They topped it off and checked the oil filter and plug, to tell me my oil pan gasket needed replaced (avg. cost $580). The next day I went to Auto Tech Pro. Chuck and his crew could have easily went with my story and replaced the gasket and sent me on my way. Rather, they invited me to take a look for myself to see that the oil plug was leaking. There is a metal washer that has to be replaced after each oil change. After cleaning up the oil left on the undercarriage cover, replacing the oil plug and a fresh oil change, they sent me on my way. Total savings... over $460! Do honest mechanics still do business? My dad was on his way to my place when his relatively new truck broke down. AAA towed him to a dealership. Every time we called no one would give us any information. I guess when they saw the out of state license plates they figured they could take advantage of him. He was told they didn't have time to hook it up to the computer to get the error code to see what was wrong and it would be a couple weeks before they could do so. So, it sat there for a week. Every day I called to talk to someone and he called too. Ridiculous. We finally had it towed to Auto Tech because we have used them for years. Within the hour they called us back with the error code. Chuck and his crew were amazing! My mom's car had overheated down the street at Kroger. When I called to ask about getting it towed to them as it was the closest place, he personally went down to help her to see if he could get her car started so she would not have to pay a tow fee. We found out her radiator had to be replaced along with her brakes (which we already knew.) They called around and got the best deals on parts they could. They also discounted her cost of around $400 compared to other places in the area. They are honest and treat each customer as if they were putting their own Mom in the vehicle. I had absolutely the best experience with auto tech. The guys are very nice and honest! I went to the dealership due to car trouble and found out it that it was my transmission and it would cost me $6,000. I went to Auto Tech and they took a look at my car at quoted me half the price but they took it a step further and called another an area dealership for me to see if I was still under some sort of warranty and it turns out my vehicle was covered under the powertrain warranty. So I was able to get to my transmission replaced for free. Chuck and his entire staff saved me thousands of dollars. I am so thankful for their honesty! I went to a service place and they said I needed low arm controls on my Infiniti G35, due to vibration when driving on putting on my brakes. Just Brakes/Pep Boys told me it would cost me $1400.00. My gut told me it was due possibly my discs and/or brake pads (Pep boys said they were fine). So, I went to see Auto Tech for a second opinion. My gut/hunch was correct. Had my 2013 Avalon engine replaced after water damage with an engine with fewer miles. Chuck arranged for a transport trailer, found an engine, and returned to me a great vehicle. Based on that I asked him to look over my 2004 Lexus with 200K miles. He fixed a front end shimmy, replaced many burned out electrical bulbs, replaced broken/cracked trim items, and returned to me a wonderful road trip vehicle almost like new. Ignition switch on steering column was broke on our PT Cruiser. They attempted to replace components to fix the car, but it still would not work. They were going to have to replace the whole unit, a part that was going to cost $1000 alone. They spent two days looking for a used part at local junkyards, and eventually found one to use to fix our car, at a cost of 1/10 of what the new part would cost. We were having a problem with our 2008 Mustang GT, so we took it to Auto Tech Pro Service Center. We explained it to Billy and he suggested how to fix the problem, no more, no less. We agreed with him and the work was done thoroughly, honestly and in a timely fashion. Great car repair - 1st time I brought my 2004 malibu they fixed my right blinker that had been burning out for years. That was amazing. 2nd time I needed repair on my air conditioner - they were just wonderful . These folks give you great estimates and treat you right.
