Bad service. This is a bad review on the store on Vanderbilt and 951. Went there for a battery warranty. And I got a rude awakening. They said that it goes by a tel # of who bought it. I didn't have because we had bought the vehicle recently. They said sorry . Can't give you the warranty. And I ask with the sku on the battery and the date sticker can't you tell it's still under warranty. And they said yes , but they need the phone # of who purchased it. I persisted and the manager threatened to ban me / trespass me from the store. So left and called the district manager. And filed a complaint. They said they would get in touch with me thru email in 24 hrs. 2 days later still waiting. And I'm out 250 dollars because there battery's are not cheap. Or of great quality. Four out of five stars given for the amount of time that we had to wait to get help. We stopped in to get a lightbulb for the front of the car which was out and asked for help in changing it since we did not have any tools on us. I was told just to wait a couple of minutes and that I would be helped next after the person in front to be paid but then someone else came to pay and I was pushed back again and again and again. Finally we started to lose our patients and my partner pop the light open with my car key and changed the light bulb himself. read more

This review is for the AutoZone store in Cape Coral, FL on Skyline Blvd. I went there to get some engine coolant, wiper blades and some windshield washer fluid. It was 7:40pm and I called advance auto parts to get a new battery for my wife's car since I didn't have the tools to unbolt her battery. They say if we get there 5 til 8 they won't do and gave attitude. We pull into their parking lot at 7:48 and they turned all of their lights off. We saw autozone right across the street hoping we had a bigger window and we did! The location closes at 9 and Michael was quick to find us the new battery we needed and installed it. He was an incredible help and going forward anything I need for my vehicle will be at Autozone. Terrible, terrible, terrible!! I rode 10 miles this morning to get a set of ignition coils that their website said were in stock at this location. When I got there about 8:00 A.M. the manager said they had no stock and the "computer shows them available to get customers in the door". I was furious. How dare they manipulate customers like this and then not accept responsibility. I had heart bypass surgery this last summer so this bike ride is not all that easy for me. I told the manager this and she said "sorry... it's not my fault". I'd fire the whole damn store if it were up to me. Purposely lying to customers to manipulate them is reprehensible! I'd fire every damn employee and shut the damn store down. How do you rate this company zero? If they'll lie to you to get you in their store can you trust anything else they say?? read more

I purchased a starter from auto zone at San Carlos in Estero and noticed the box was slightly perforated and the associate and I didn't inspect the starter until I removed the old one and noticed the plastic solenoid was broken. I believe the associate Robert new it was broken and wanted to dump this 180.00 item because it was broken at the store. I thought I called the Estero store but instead I called the Bonita store and spoke with Dario. I was angry with the store because I had to put It all back together and tap the old starter. He said they will take it back with no questions and he set one aside for me with my name and number. I had to apologize because of my displaced anger. Now he has a defective part and I lost a half a day and gas to finish the job. Dario was very professional and personal and I will go out of my way to go to his store to receive the same treatment.
