During the process, the finance manager, Chris, asked if I'd be open to seeing whether they could beat my rate. I agreed, but only on the condition that it would be lower. When they couldn't offer a better rate, I clearly instructed them to proceed with my original financing. Three weeks later, I received a letter from Toyota Financial Services stating that my loan had been set up through them instead--at the same interest rate I already had. This was done without my knowledge or approval. On top of that, the new financing did not include basic things like GAP insurance or other protections I specifically wanted as part of my purchase. I bought a Lexus NX250 and from the get go it had problems(not car manufacturers fault) the way they handled the issue was the problem. The key fob battery was always an issue, why does Ft. Myers not charge for the battery's and Naples does? To get an oil change and tire rotation and regular maintenance Scott Joiner said it would be no more than an hour or 2, it was was 5 hours, keep in mind I was first in line. They actually refused to sell us the vehicle without it so we walked away. Management at this Lexus dealership is beyond unethical. We took our 2018 RX350 regularly to Germain Lexus of Naples for service. After being serviced we noticed a slow oil leak under the differential. We took it back to them and they said they fixed it. Months and an 1800 mile trip later we took it into the Lexus dealership in Danvers MA for regular servicing. The housing for the oil filter was cracked, leaking oil - which was due to overtightening of the oil filter. And the housing for the differential was cracked. I had driven for months and there was no oil lubricating the axel. Danvers provided me with video proof and told me they had no idea how either of these issues could have developed other than by errors when being serviced. [[HIGHLIGHT]]My Service Advisor told me I would have to call the Germain service manager to see if there was anything they would do.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The bill to fix my car replacing the differential casing and axel would have been $8,600. I did not expect to buy a LEXUS SUV, was just there to get the numbers and test drive another time. I was fortunate to have found the salesman, CARY VHUGEN. He was very professional, personable, soft spoken and extremely helpful and patient. He also had a great sense of humor. I felt very comfortable talking with Cary. In all my 50 years of purchasing a car, it was always a challenge. Here at Lexus, Cary was above board and I was very pleased. And what he also said was that Germain does not inflate the price over the MSRP as some dealerships do and that was my experience the last two weeks. Appreciated his honesty as well. I was happy about that as I've come across three other auto brands that did for $3-5,000 more. I wanted a black color suv with black interior and Cary said he had two "on ground" and 4 reserved. One was exactly what I wanted. The other was white. I test drove the LEXUS 450h suv and was impressed. It had all the installed options but Lexus was very fair in addition to the total price. Had purchased a Lexus GX460 in Oct.2023. Received an email to get a free oil change (included for life w/purchase). Called, made and appt and the circus began. Got an email for wrong appt info. Called to confirm actual appt., day of scheduled service and they confirmed. Upon arrival, told to go to lounge and Michael, our service mgr ,would be along. After waiting 15 mins after scheduled time, had to try to find him. Only to find out they/he had no record of the appt. Mind you, I had received an email from the guy who didn't have record confirming his looking forward to helping me. After being told the vehicle was in line for service, requested my SUV to leave as it was now nearly an hour after our arrival. The SUV was then moved from the parking lot, not service area. The worse service or lack of service I have ever experienced. I sent them an email to let them know of the whole debacle and no one ever responded to apologize for such terrible customer service. As I previously said, I've been going there 15 years with no problems. The dealership has been very apologetic and I've received several phone calls, including from members of the Germain family. They sent a mechanic to my home and gave me a new battery at no charge. He also did several checks. My next service is compted. They did investigate. Apparently what happened is that there was an accident in their shop while working on my car. The mechanic that was working on my car was obviously distracted and all work stopped as the employee had to go to the hospital. Someone took over on my car, assuming that it was finished and the car was moved to the parking lot. Sounds like an honest mistake. Overall, I'll be going back. read more

Took my 2022 Lexus RX 350 with 11,000 miles for tire rotation. NEVER DONE! They did my 15,000 service early. Tires NEVER ROTATED! They did the same before my 10,000 mile service. I highly doubt these tires were never ever rotated! They make you drive over a tire monitor when you enter the lane. They sell over 700 tires a month from this practice. So as you can see not rotating tires is in their interest. Also be aware they stated my car had exterior damage I called Dan Whittington he refused to remove it! The car is spotless it was a dog hair ( they said a scratch). You may want to follow around the Valet as he takes pictures. This is also in their favor as it is a permanent record of your vehicle ! I provide this review for the benefit of anyone contemplating purchasing a pre-owned vehicle from Germain Lexus of Naples. I preface this review by stating that I realize that used cars are at a premium with our current supply chain and chip shortages. I also speak as an automotive professional being previously employed by an International Luxury Motorcar brand as a member of management having financial oversight of dealerships, salespersons and importing the cars and parts. It was also assumed that since they posted the Audi online, that potential buyers would be out of state, so there would be logistic issues that needed to be addressed during the sales process to close the transaction. I located a 2016 Q5 on Cars.com and contacted Germain Lexus of Naples on November 17. I was first contacted by Eddie Vasco by email and then Matthew Christen by email and phone. I was quickly sent the Carfax and repair work order. Since I was currently in New Jersey, I asked if a deposit could be immediately provided until I could get a flight to Naples. I was replied with "In general we do not hold pre-owned cars with deposits. However, we do offer the opportunity for our clients to purchase the vehicle in advance subject to a face-time video inspection and agreement on the final figures". I was ready to buy and because of the weekend and my wife's schedule I arranged a video estimate on Monday at noon. I finished the video and was once again ready to buy. At 12:30 Matthew sent me a "door pricing sheet", along with extended warranty information and back sell products. In reviewing the pricing sheet, there were close to $1,000 in additional dealer fees and electronic filing fees, which were not discussed throughout the sales process. Matthew got back to me on potential price adjustments at 1:30pm telling me there was no credit available. I told him we were a go and asked how he wanted the money. This is where the circus began. Matthew then informs me he has to find out if the car is still available. Then 1/2 hour later he tells me he has a cash customer coming from Tampa that his manager promised the car to. I would have expected this unprofessional behavior and opportunistic approach to a sale from a highway, car auction establishment, but not from a Lexus dealer. I made a phone call to the Mr Germain who never bothered to return my call. I have read all the other review of this business. I am glad that it worked out for many customers on their new vehicles but I would advise anyone considering a pre-owned vehicle to keep their distance from this dealership. I will make it a point to share this story with anyone in my business, political and personal network in Sarasota and Collier County that is looking for a pre-owned car. There is a right way and a wrong way to treat potential customers in respect to full disclosure, setting expectations and having respect for their time. I went to do a regular maintenance to my car with very low miles on and they charged me for services that were not required at all. Very disappointed. Car wash is a joke. No soap, no brushing, the car came out of washing with the same dust and marks! I had to ask to wash it again.. There are no snacks in a waiting area, only drinks. They made me wait for two hours despite of the scheduled appointment. Very small and crowded lobby. I am very dissatisfied with this dealership service. Went in to have two things done. Recall on a fuel pump issue and there was a part missing that held one of the rear shades in position. Fuel pump part replaced with no problem. The part that holds the rear window shade in place was not fixed. The wrong part was shipped two days in a row. Waiting for a call to take my car back in again when the right part comes in. I took my Lexus to a local mechanic that specializes in Lexus products. They did a complete inspection of the vehicle. They did over $1k in needed maintenance. I didn't have them do an oil change because I get them free at Lexus as part of the purchase of the vehicle. 4 days after getting the car back with a clean bill of health I took it to Germain for the oil change. When the oil change was done I was handed a summary that included a $6k+ estimate for red marked immediate issues that need to be fixed.... Including $300 for replacing the Drive belt that had been installed new 4 days earlier by the other mechanic because "Belt is Worn".... among other items that were specifically checked 4 days earlier and found to be in perfect working order... When I asked another mechanic what he thought he pointed out that the Germain techs get paid a flat rate and make more by "finding" things wrong. Apparently fleecing people by claiming things that aren't broken are is how they do that.... I cannot in good conscience recommend this dealership for maintenance. There's more than one independent shop in the area that does honest, quality and significantly cheaper work that specialize in Lexus products. read more
