Their very personable, on-time and competent driver Tony picked us up at about 6:00 AM, and drove us over to Ocean to get us set up and on the road. Paperwork was waiting on the desk, but...no Smart Car. They did have something else for us, but that was not the arrangement we had made. If Barbara has simply called and explained they didn't have a Smart Car available, I probably would have just said fine, no problem. But they didn't. Thanks for the bait and switch, Ocean. I do hope you learn how to treat your customers, of which I am no longer one, and stop lying to them. Sayonara.

Today we called two hours in advanced to make sure they had our reservation and we were told yes we have two vehicles here but had to wait for them to get oil change! Got there at 5 and guess what no vehicle and the Silverado we were told was reserved for us was pulling out the yard! How is this good customer service especially from someone over the past year has rented 12 separate times and a couple of the times where for a month while our truck was in the shop! The lady at the counter got rude when we asked what they could do for us! She said they had a truck in Sunrise but we had to go get it! It's 5:30 in Fort Lauderdale and Sunrise is 20 miles away! Traffic in this area at 5 is no joke it takes 1hr+ to go ten miles! They have officially lost our business! There are many rental companies in South Florida that I'm sure would love our business!!!!

Pick up was without incident and fast. Service was professional and friendly. I had no issues with the vehicle at all. I returned a day early on a Sunday to avoid having to Uber home on a Monday. Turning in was uneventful. I had the same lady to return the vehicle to as when I picked up and she was friendly and professional. I waited outside for her as she instructed me so she can do a walk around and check the fuel and mileage, which she did and I witnessed. She had me sign the final return invoice and confirmed that everything was good with the SUV. Over a week later I received an email from Sixt claims that there was damage to the front bumper of the car that wasn't documented and I need to answer some questions about it for their claims investigation. Excuse me! Over a week ago and after I've been final invoiced! O no, I looked into it and apparently this has been part of their business model as there's been a class action lawsuit against them and pending litigation. Please be aware this may happen and document everything before the rental and after turning it in. A whole Facebook page is dedicated to this horror story.

I called the Hertz Pompano Beach office to confirm my rental was ready to go, they assured me it…read morewas. I came in and there was a problem with the vehicle not being closed off of a previous ride. After numerous phone calls and consults it was finally closed out. Then there was an issue with the Tamarac office trying to book my rental, I was standing there with a reservation number from the previous day, that took another 30 mins to straighten out. When I was finally cleared for the vehicle I noticed that it was dirty inside and out and I was told that was because the vehicle was shuttled around from Boca to Tamarac to Pompano I asked if a wash was available for it and was told yes but that would take 30 mins. At this point I was already late for appointments I had made but drove it to a nearby carwash and paid to have it washed and deodorized after which I noticed the windows with a dirty film (discusting) took the vehicle home and had to clean the windows myself because I was taking clients out for lunch. I was told because of the delay the return could be late and they would not charge for it (car picked up Tuesday at 9:30 am and returned Wednesday at 8:30 am) I went to my office and noticed a statement from Hertz with a $12.00 late return fee, I have placed several calls to the Pompano office with no answer. I don't expect any response from Hertz they are welcome to keep my rental and their BS late fees. In summary: CUSTOMER SERVICE - 0 stars VEHICLE - 0 stars VEHICLE ODOR - FREE!! I will never use or recommend this company to anyone!

They never came to get the car. I told Delray Beach (where I rented the car) to come get it 3 times (I have the emails). So I called again on Monday, March 2. Then they picked up the car on Tuesday. I took an Uber there while my car was being repaired nearby, only to be told that their system was down and that they weren't accepting Apple Pay after all. That left me stranded without the payment option they advertised. To make matters worse, the rate and deposit they wanted for just a few hours were unreasonable. The customer service was unfriendly and completely unaccommodating. I ended up walking down the street in the hot sun to Hertz, where they welcomed me, honored Apple Pay exactly as advertised, offered me a beautiful car, and required only a reasonable deposit. The difference in customer service was night and day. Enterprise lost my business, and based on this experience, I won't be back ever !!!! Ruddddeeee
