I own a Volvo XC60 2016 and went in with a start-stop issue, and was quoted 1,600 in repairs for a new engine coolant thermometer and start-stop engine motor. This was not the biggest issue however, as I came in with only an automatic start-stop engine issue which they couldn't diagnose for three days, was discovered after I had paid for a new engine coolant thermostat. When I checked out there was a 60$ extra charge which was a 3% fee for using a debit card which they do not tell you ahead of time so beware. Not even an hour after I drove my car home, the engine started overheating which has NEVER been an issue previously so I took it back and they told me that when the new engine coolant thermometer was connected, the parts it connected to were not cleaned properly so they cleaned it and assured me I would be good to drive home to Texas. About 5 hours into my drive, my car engine completely shut down overheated yet again and broke down in the middle of downtown Dallas rush hour. I finally today was able to figure out that there was incorrect oil put into my engine and now have to replace my high-pressure fuel pump that was damaged from this event. From going in for a minor start-stop issue to having my car overheat to the point of almost breaking down and then fully breaking down in under 10 seconds and another 800$ it is finally fixed. Again as my car has had NO issues regarding overheating and breaking down previously I would not take your car here. Autohouse and their mechanics are amazing!! I had been having problems with a reoccurring check engine light code. I had taken my car to a different shop on 3 instances over the course of 2 months and had spent close to $750, but the issue persisted. Obviously feeling frustrated a friend told me to try Autohouse. I made an appointment, dropped my car off and they ran all the diagnostics (something the previous shop didn't do). It took 2 days because my problem was intermittent but at the end of the two days, my car was fixed and my engine light gone. And it's stayed off! I brought my car back in for an oil change and to have a light replaced. They took care of me and everyone there was so incredibly kind and helpful. If I have any major work done on a vehicle, it's with AutoHouse. Steve and team always do the highest quality job and I fully trust their maintenance and repair! While they aren't the least expensive shop around, they also aren't the "cheapest." The documentation for the state of your vehicle is great (photos when dropped off), the explanation of the services recommended is clear, and I've never been charge for anything without a conversation up front and an approval required via email. I've had valves replace, tubes repaired, time belt changed out, problem solve for what ended up being an oil pump going out and more. While on my way to a service call in Little Rock my van started dying. I quickly exited the highway, and Googled auto repair shops nearby. I found AutoHouse with a 5 star rating only 3 miles away. I was able to limp my van to the shop, and even though it was New Years Eve and they seemed very busy, Joe said he could help me out. 'I've never seen a shop like his. It is very clean. It has amenities like a kids playroom, a big TV, q pool table. Complementary coffee made by the cup. The service was fantastic, and and very reasonable for all the work Joe and his team performed. First I know they will come back and try to deny. i will never take another vehicle to them. I was charged $350 for the to test my display on my volvo, their diagnostic test was to unhook the battery for 3 days. I was told that by the girl named Bailey when she called to tell me it needed a new display. I purchased a display and took to them. They used a different display than what I took to them. I had it verified by the company I bought it from and Volvo in Tulsa. The display that put in does NOT match the serial number of the one I took in. to make a long story short, they are denying it. Trying to blame it on a Tech they say they fired. I will be seeking legal counsel, this is unacceptable And so wrong. read more

Just bought a used Volvo and it suddenly experienced some major issues. They wanted to really get to the bottom of the issues and did every sort of diagnostic test there was, short of an exorcism. Even though it took them a while because they always have a full day ahead of them, they eventually gave us some options for fixes.
