She was warm and personable and insured that a rather ancient "free oil change/tire rotation" was honored (which had been the reason I came in on ladies day, just in case it COLDN'T be honored, however 'free' was even better! I enjoyed watching the tech work on my Honda fit as though it were his own Automobile and was super pleased that I was in and out of there with my servicing complete and a full report of things to take care of in the near future and the order in which to do those things most economically thanks to Josh. My early morning /evening driving is deteriorating, so I questioned why I would ever think about a 7 AM appointment in the future however today's experience made me realize I will definitely consider how very quick and cheerfully I could start my day AND drive out with my FIT being in shape shape (and Clean!!! with pollen, even though my husband had it washed mid-February I was embarrassed, bringing it in looking so 'tired'. I was told that it would not be covered unless they (Courtesy Honda) got a preapproval from the maintenance plan. So, I had to come back another day until they got approval. I rescheduled my appointment for another day and was told that the plan would only cover the basic maintenance and if I needed other things covered, I would have to pay out of pocket which I refuse to do since the Orlando dealership would have had ALL of my maintenance issues covered. Also, they tried to get me to pay for a cabin filter saying supposedly that it was dirty and needed replacing and I flat out said NO! That's usually covered under the plan. I just wanted to get my car maintenance and get out of there. That was the last time I stepped foot there. I just go back to Orlando when the maintenance is needed and pay $0 out of pocket. No ty!

Chris went above and beyond to explain everything to me from start to finish -- in terms I could actually understand. He was patient, thorough, and never made me feel rushed or talked down to. The communication was excellent the entire time my car was there, which gave me so much peace of mind. The technician, Matt, was incredibly thorough in diagnosing the issue but didn't do anything unnecessary just to run up a bill. They were honest and efficient, which ultimately saved me money. What truly impressed me, though, was Chris's integrity. Once they identified the problem, instead of simply fixing it and charging me, he took the time to research and discovered that Mercedes had a coverage extension that would pay for the repair if I brought it to the dealership. He even told me exactly what to say when I called Mercedes. Because of him, I ended up saving about $7,000 on that repair. It's rare to find a shop that prioritizes honesty over profit like that. Danny's does not do that I have brought my car in to have it looked at and Scott would say that there's nothing wrong and that there's no charge for looking. I think though as an aside, they should really consider installing a mini-split air conditioner in their waiting area for the customers as the summers will forever be hotter and their current system won't be able to handle then temps (I noted their thermostat was set at 76 and the temp reading remained at 81 the whole time in this humid environment)(I mean, mini splits are so affordable now it's not that costly)
